If you're sitting alone, looking for something to listen to, but don't know what to try, then i've got the answer. Heavy metal may seem dark and full of anguish to some of you, but in truth, it is some of the deepest and most moving music, with the greatest solos and instrumentals in almost any genre. So, if you still don't know wha tto try, i'll give you some suggestions:
Iron Maiden
Judas Priest
Metallica
The Scorpions
Sonata Arctica
Led Zeppelin
Rob Zombie
This of course is jsut naming a few, i i know that i have left out many high quality bands, so explore for yourself and you'll discover some of the greatest music ever that has been hidden behind a dark cloud of leather and crossbones.

A MAtter Of Life And Death is a great album from the greatest metal band on the face of the earth. This album invokes a feeling of the Irons in the old days, but with a different, more sentimnetal feeling. At first, i didn't gush over it, but as i listened to it over and over again, i liked it so much. I can't see one bad song on the this entire album. All teh songs on this album are great and there are no weak points, but the best songs are the Pilgrim and For the Greater Good of God, although it is hard to tell because each song has a different feel, but it feels as if akll the songs fit together. Bruce's voacals are as godd as ever. I suggest you defintely check this album out.

Korpiklaani may sound a little different, but they the ultimate folk metal band. Even if you don't like folk metal or if you don't like metal, you'll love Korpiklaani. They are a finnish folk metla band about half of their songs are in Finnish, but that only makes the song better. The violin in the background along with other traditional instruments combined with guitars make this band just make you want to get up and dance. If you want some entertainment, youtube Korpiklaani and watch some of their music videos.

Jethro Tull have been around for a long time and have been delivering classic songs with a bluesy-folksy twist. Their versatility is amazing, as they have been classified in many different genres, and this is weel deserves. They shifted to more hard rock, even a somewhat metal sound in the eighties, and they returned to more original sound in the nineties. Of course, the success of J-Tull is directly related to ian Anderson. This man's wonderful vocals along with his wild on-stage antics has brought j-tull their fame and fortune all while making their songs sound absolutely amazing.

Soanata Arctica is not a very popular or recognizable band, but it should be. Their songs have a different taste to them, but they are unmistakebly good. If you are or aren't a heavy matel band, you will like this sweet kick-ass Finnish band for their style and beat. You can't help but smile while listening to their songs.
