As we all know, RAGE was once around, but now that they are gone, Audioslave is here and they are worth listening to. Many will listen to a few songs on this album and if they dont like it right off the bat, they will throw it away. Many of these songs are not catchy off of the first lisening, but listening to it just twice on some tracks like "Your Time has Come" and "Be Yourself" you will begin to grow to like them. This CD is very diverse also, with some tracks that have incredible energy and then others that are very easy to listen to. A few songs are good for when you are angry at some one or sad about somthing, but the others are good for when you are pleased with life and you dont have a care in thw world. If at first this CD doesnt give you what your looking for, listen to it for w awhile and it will end up being a very good album.

I bought this album over 6 months ago and i concider this one to be one of the best albums i have ever heard. Where State of the Union is a heavy punk almost metal song separates it from the others as does the acoustic track Swing Life Away. Although it is the softest song on the album, it is still a very pleasing song to listen to while trying to cool off from the rest of this album. From the First Drop to Tip the Scales, is all that made me get into punk. Now that I have heard these songs, i have started to listen to Bad Religion and Pennywise along with the other as good as this Cds of Rise Against. The only reason that this album wasnt perfect was because of Anywhere but Here and Dancing for Rain. Those songs just dont seem to fit in with this album even though they are under the same rock as the others it just seems different and it doesnt fit in witht eh other songs. But any one who would like to listen to a under appreciated band should listen to Rise Against and then they would understand where good music is at its best.
