Been playing around with home for the last few weeks.. certainly has immense potential if done properly. I suppose the main question is when exactly will Sony finally decide to roll out the full version. But yeah, I also hope you have fun as well.. God knows the Sims/Second Life players around me enjoy designing the houses and are anticipating blowing through my PS wallet for new furniture/decor etc.
I don't know whether I'll bother wasting any time with Home or not. It just seems like something that exists purely to distract me from the real issues in life. Like playing a ton of games .
After a few hours with it; it gets kind of boring. There is only so much you can do with it right now. but I agree with you King in that there is a ton of potential. I think over time its going to prove to be an interesting experience. I thought the character customization was very deep, I've never seen so many options with tweaking my character. I managed to get it pretty close to what I look like minus the hair probably. I think that Sony wont have any problem selling content so people can buy their cool clothes or furniture. Sims games have a way of devaluing the dollar to an extent that people can rationalize buying stuff for their avatar. Personally this is my first experience with a sim game and it weirds me out a little. Trancendent reality I guess
