Stone Sour is made up of two band member from Slipknot: Corey Taylor and Jim root. They are not much like Slipknot though. Stone Sour is a great band, first of all. And unlike Slipknot, they have many soft songs as well as hard rock songs and no screaming(or very little). I'd highly recommend listening to them even if you're not a Slipknot fan.

This is one of my favorite albums ever released. It has some great songs such as Left Behind and New Abortion. It has very heavy songs, so if you like that kind of stuff, I would recommend it. Even if you dont' like Slipknot, at least listen to it, it is a truly great album.
