Interesting list. Though I'm guessing it's the greatest heaviest bands and not the heaviest bands. The later would definitely be quite a weird list.

Look at who's number 11, 18, and 39...And no Disturbed? I have to say Tool isn't really that heavy, but Disturbed should be up there especially if Tool is.

Alright! Metallica. cool list man. i can see alot of bands i KNOW are good there...Monster Magnet, Led Zepplin, Slayer, Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Pantera, AC/DC....although i must agree with LUC_22xbx360 , where is Rammstein?

agreed with the most famous heaviest bands suggestion, otherwise you'd see bands like this on there:

but its a different type of music, its more along the lines of hardcore, not local, they all have labels.

good list though.
