I kinda like Teen Titans. but not to much. But this episode is one of the series better episodes.
Part of the essence of the Titans, both the comic and animated versions, is that they're a family. And as Lilo said, "Family means no one gets left behind."
This episode opens with the world's end. Raven somehow manages to save the Titans, but they're battle gnats against Trigon. Slade helps them, and Robin goes with him to find Raven, while the other three Titans members distract Trigon. While fighting
monsters, Slade and Robin emulate the Sequence from X, which is quite fine. Once again, we see that Robin and Slade have the same boot tread. Meanwhile, BB, Star, and Cyborg are forced to fight evil versions of themselves by Trigon. Starfire's clone taunts her by threatening to tell Trigon where Robin is, Cyborg's clone taunts him with a reference to his mother-the first in the series-and BB's clone reminds him why Terra got rid of him him. At the end of the episode, we see that Raven is found, but apparently in some sort of child form, and in a white costume.

This episode is incredibly revealing. We learn the depth of the Titans' resolution, about their inner demons, and what happens when they fight themselves. We also see one of the few concrete romance scenes between Robin and Star in the entire series. THe episode also does it's job: tell a story, and build up anticipation for the final episode. Another excellent one from the people at Cartoon Network.
