CW Lineup Not Bad

I was almost certain that the WB/UPN merger would pick up more WB shows that UPN, but yesterday's announcement proved me wrong. I was happy that Girlfriends made it to the CW network. Everybody Hates Chris was a given, so I had no worries about that show. I was hoping Half And Half would've made the cut, but unfortunately it didn't. Surprisingly, All Of Us was chosen over it. Not that All Of Us is a bad show, because it's pretty decent, but I liked Half And Half better. I'm glad to see that the Girlfriends spin-off, The Game, will debut in the fall. I didn't like the backdoor pilot at first, but it grew on me. It's not the best, but it's good. As for One On One, Cuts, Love Inc., and Eve, they all deserved to be cancalled, but I'd love to see how Eve and One On One's cliffhangers were resolved. Oh well, life goes on... And finally, a few months back there was talk of a WB sitcom created by Mara Brock-Akil that would feature Brandy as the star. Then after the merge announcement, it was never heard of again. I would've loved to see it on the CW lineup, but it - along with Nick Lachey's show - weren't picked up. But I think there's still hope. Maybe another network will pick them up, or maybe CW will pick them up next year...who knows? But regardless, I'm somewhat satisfied with the CW lineup. Other than Half And Half being cancelled, I can't complain.
