RIP Michael Jackson

One of the greatest musical talents of my generation has gone home. Michael Jackson has left this earth, but he will never be forgetten. Michael Jackson changed music from his voice, his dance moves, his voice, even his character. Regardless if you loved him or hated him, he is perhaps the biggest icon in my generation and he will always be remembered and never forgotten.

I hear you. I was a big fan of MJ up until he started doing weird things to himself (skin lightening and nose jobs, etc). I also turned into more of a rock fan than a pop fan. But watching some of the compilations (like on VH1) of his stuff - even more recent stuff - made me realize he never lost his amazing singing and dancing talent, and I should have kept more up to date with his work. Definitely a #1 showman.
