August 26, 2007
It's been a while and about twenty added pounds (not the good kind) since I posted a blog, so I thought a nice update would do.
School's starting tomorrow as I'm looking at my final semester at Texas A&M University. It's exciting while I also have to figure out just what the heck I'm going to do aftr this semester. The football season looks to be on the up and up, and I have no doubts of Texas A&M football getting into a bowl game, unless something tragic happens to a key player, like the starting quarterback McGehee.
I'm a big Houston Astros fan, but their playoff hopes are pretty much gone by now. Guess I'll have to wait and see for next year for those hopes.
Football season's about to start, and I am excited to say that I'm going into my first fantasy league this season! And going to Las Vegas for the draft, no less! Las Vegas should be exciting in itself, but at least with my dad as my team partner we'll probably make some good draft picks.
That's all I got for now, as I've got to straighten up and focus on the upcoming semester. Have a great day, and don't forget to thoroughly wipe your ass. No one likes streaky underwear.
Feb. 12, 2007 - Good Times
I found a site recently that's petitioning for another Fire Emblem game. Actually, it's asking for the game made before the first US Fire Emblem game, but it's actually a sequel (considering the first US installment as a prequel). The series has been popular in Japan since the late 1980's, but the series wouldn't hit American shores until the seventh installment, made for Game Boy Advance. If you're interested in joining the petition, here's a link to the site petitioning for the sixth game in the series:

Anyway, I'm really excited about life right now. With the lack of new "Robot Chicken" episodes, I'm really only watching the new "Office" and "Heroes" episodes on a weekly basis. Except during Texas A&M basketball games. They're pretty darn good this year. Anyways, have a great day and keep on keepin' on.
20 November 2006 - Update
Life's been pretty good recently, but I have to make sure I make my grades this semester. I will probably graduate in December of 2007, so now I'm figuring out what I want to do with the rest of my life.
I'm really interested in that the holidays are coming up, but I'm no longer interested in video games (like I used to be). Sure, I'm going to get the new Zelda game for Gamecube and Guitar Hero II, but the new systems don't appeal to me like they used to in the past. I read somewhere today that a man killed a woman over a PS3 last night in a parking lot in Houston. If that had been my mother, I couldn't live with myself.
As for TV, I'm interested in getting Volume 4 of Family Guy and finding out when Season 2 of Robot Chicken will come out. My bet is a February/March release.
Have a good day and live it to the fullest.
TGIF (16 June 2006) - for reals
If you haven't seen "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed", and you liked the cartoon series, you'll enjoy this. If you like Robot Chicken, you'll enjoy it, b/c Seth Green's in it.
Personally, I'm excited about "Nacho Libre" coming to theaters today. I will probably see it this weekend. My parents called from Austin to tell me that Jack Black's celebrating the national release THERE. The event has been soldout since March, though, but my mother's going to try to get me one of the merchandise wrestling masks.
On another note, I caught "Striptease" on the movie channels last night. It's a lot better than I remembered. The story is really decent, and it takes a couple of watches to catch everything and put it together. I never knew Micheal Jordan had made a cameo appearance in the movie before last night. While it great for more than the obvious reason, you watch it for the obvious reason: Demi Moore is in very fine shape for this film. And she's a great actress. I'd hit that.
