What can you say about Al Green? Everything I presume! Obviously, there is no point in me reviewing all his good points/songs etc because theyre is just too many to fit in! Basically, he is an all time legend. He is soulful and full of ryhtm and I never can resist to sing or dance or even relax to his music. Right now I am listening to his greatest hits! HE is definatly up there with Marvin Gaye and Otis REdding. A great voice and one of my favorite soul singers of all time :D

When I first heard of American Hi Fi it was by chance. My friend wanted me to go see Bowling for Soup with him, and American Hi Fi were supporting. And we both agreed that the support were better musically than Bowling For Soup, who although were fun, charismatic and full of personality wise, theyre music was far too poppy and commercialised. But American Hifi? They had the kind of music that is what you'd expect to be popular to most people. But it's not. They have that kind of charm to them, that they are producing good, catchy pop and rock tunes, yet they ar eno apprecaited by the wider market.
i have all three of their albums, and I wasn't dissapointed at all. I read one review who slated American Hi fi's album sayign that 'Flavour of the week' was theyre only hit. I disagree. 'Geeks get the girls' 'another perfect day' 'safer on the outside' are just a few examples of what i would call addictive, catchy rock, radio friendly rock tunes.
Another perfect day in particular is a much softer, sweeter tune. I don't understand how American Hi Fi have kept so low profile for so long. I hope soon they will be appreciated by teh wider community. Because that's what they deserve.

Just when you think punk is dead!!!
Dead 60's- Dead 60's- This album is original punk and ska, mixed with a more toned down modern approach. Less screaming, less loud, less rash and harsh singing and more toned down guitar riffs and drumming. However, it still ha sthe rebellious side to it, it still has the very Clash like sound with it's tracks liek Riot radio and guita intros that remind me of teh Dead Kenneddys, the lead singer has a very jello Baifra like singing quality. Great to listen to, very aesthiclaly pelasing, and from a punk at heart it's a truly great album, re-living teh days of punk!!

If Meatloaf is a God of music, than Tyler would be his Goddess. Her voice is individual, emotional, passionate and has the strength an drange of Meat Loaf. Her husky voice is sexy, and seducive. Her songs are a great mix of pop and rock, and songs like Holding out for a hero, total eclipse of the heart are pasisonate love ballads, that are legendary and they just take your breath away. I love Bonnie tyler!

Meat Loaf, along with Bonnie Tyler and Jim Steinham are my favorites from my youth. I really like his voice and his songs, and I have got all his albums to date. I especially like You took tehw ords outta my mouth, I would anything for love (But i won't do that). His mix of rock and pop is great to listen to, and his rock ballads are romantic and memorbale. He is so versatile as a singer and actor. He has a great voice, and his whole image is really good. He started off as a blues singer and youc an tell because of the range in his voice, it's amazing the power and strength he cna achieve. Steinham was great in making songs to match his voice an dhis manner. He is just a God of music,a nd oen fo my personal favorites..
