My review of The Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen!

If you haven't seen the movie then please skip this post on my blog for it contains spoilers*****

I want to write this review of the film so I'll tell you what I thought worked. The action and the humor had you interested. I loved the comedy dynamic between Sam and his parents. Megan Fox and Isabel Lucas are two of the most beautiful young eye candy you can put in a film. Devastator back as a form of constructicon was amazing. I did however had a few problems with some of the story such as if two parts of the all spark was all that was left why did the fragment found on Sam's clothes trigger this upload of information that only Sam could handle in his mind? The other fragment did not contain any information and couldn't be used by Decepticons. My biggest gripe is this, I love Isabel Lucas. She is as beautiful as Megan Fox but if Decepticon's technology has evolved to the point where they can replicate the form of homo sapiens then why would a superior race want to only blend or become deceptive as vehicles? That was a major surprise but then on further reflection I was puzzled. They never explained this. We also learn that you can go back and forth from Autobot to Decpticon, it is the choice of the robot what side they are on. What? The two Autobots who were twins played center roles in the movie all the way till the climax and then they disappeared. Sam told Bumble Bee to get his parents as far away as possible then when Sam seemed as if he was dead far away seemed to just be out of frame until the next ten minutes and here we are. Finally Sam has a near death experience where one would expect for him to meet God but no he sees the deceased dead Brother's Prime who offer there religious overtone. Sam is awaken by a combination of a defib, Prime revelation, and whisper of I love you from Megan Fox. The key is remade from dust which resurrects Optimus Prime. More holes in story but that is enough from me.

Don't get me wrong. Transformers is my second best film of 2009 so far, this is good film for the 13 and over.
