The game kicks butt. I got it early sunday and played for a good 6 hours. There was one thing that made me mad though. It didn't have to do with the game itself, but with the guitar. My whammy bar was being very unresponsive. I couldn't beat the boss battles and it wouldn't calibrate right. So i took it back and got a new one.......it did the same thing. So i got online to see if anyone else was having this problem, and some were. Then i saw a post in a forum that said "just unplug the wiimote and plug it back in making sure that the whammy bar wasn't being pushed in when you did it. So i gave it a shot and it worked perfectly. I hate stupid things like that. Oh well, It's all good now, it works just fine and I'm rockin like never before.

I'm havin trouble installin the Sims 2 game on my laptop. It tells me....

"Error executing 'E:\Support\The Sims 2_uninst.exe' %1 is not a valid Win32 application"

I cant figure it out. The book tells me to close all programs and background tasks. So i stopped my firewall and virus protections and stuff and the error still keep comin up. Any help on what to do? Thanks.

I just finished paying off Guitar Hero III, Super Mario Galaxy, and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. There's so many good games comin out the quarter. I wish i had more money so i could also get BWii, DBZ:BT3, RE:UC, and Soul Calibur. I'll end up getting them sooner or later. I don't think we'll have any trouble finding any of these games on the shelves. The countless hours of playtime will greatly rise starting next sunday with the release of GH3. WOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and i got a new job today. I'm now an official Part-Time Security Officer for Vector Security in Pittsburgh PA. I start tomorrow, so wish me luck. haha.

It's been a while since I posted a blog so to catch up, ummmm..........My third semester of college is goin great, i was invited to join the International Honor Society called the Phi Theta Kappa. I thought that was pretty sweet. I also have a girlfriend now. Her name is Lauren Gallaher, and i met her at my college last year. It's all good. Check the pics I put in my images profile.

I went to Kennywood in Pittsburgh, PA on the first of September. I went camping that next weekend at Cook's Forest. I went to another concert and saw All That Remains, To Pure To Die, and The Acaia Strain Live. That was freakin awesome. I solely started one of the biggest pits there. I also caught one of the drum sticks that To Pure To Die threw out into the croud. My friend actually caught the other one. I'm also booked to see Chimaira, Kataklysm, Divine Heresy, and Terror live in december. I can't wait.

I got a speeding ticket the other day and the fine was $155. It was my first one so it wont do too much damage to my name. I was clocked at 54.7 in a 35. lol. Oh well, i hope it doesn't happen again any time soon. And I don't plan on it to.

Anyway, thatsit in a nut shellof what happened to me in the last month. It's all good.

I'm in class right now, and I still have one more class after this that goes until 6:30, and then after that, I'm goin to my local Gamestop to pick up my copy of MP3! I can't wait. I read and watched all the reviews and I can't wait any longer! IGN gave it an awesome score, Nintendo Power gave it an even better score............and then theres GS, which gave it an 8.5........now come on GS, theres a lot of threads out there about how you are biased against nintendo. At first, I didn't believe it, but now, as more and more good games come out and you give them a lower score than any other place, I'm changing my mind rather quikcly. On the other hand, an 8.5 isn't that bad, its pretty good, but compared to every other place, it ridiculous. Reviews don't mean anything to me, i just find them interesting to see what the pro's say about the game. In any event, I can't wait to get the game, and I don't care what everyone else says. It's looks awesome,and I will find out first hand in about 3 hours!!!!! I also picked up Super Contra and Breath of Fire II to play, but i might not be playing them a whole lot until I'm done with MP3.

This weekend was one the best weekends I've ever had. Ozzfest was friggin awesome and we had one hella party on saturday. I saw about 7 different bands and the best 3 were Hatebreed, Lamb of God, and Devildriver. I went into the pits like 4 times and got banged up pretty good. I was in the biggest circle pit that Ozzfest had ever created. The rush that you get when you mach is indescribable! I'm definitely goin next year. I hope it's free then too.

I'm goin to ozzfest tomorrow and I can't wait. It took me a little while to get tickets but I got them just in time. I'm goin to see Lamb of God, Devildriver, Hatebreed, and Static-X. It's gonna be #$%^ing awesome!!!!!!

I've finally reached the 1000 tag mark exactly. It got a bit redundant after a while, but I got the emblem i wanted. I'm also gonna reach level 8 on August 17th. I'm not sure how many tags i need for the next best tagger emblem, but I'm just gonna keep goin.

It's the same every year! Before we know it, summer is over! I start my next semester up on August 22nd. Thats only 2 weeks from now. What happened to the last 3 months? Oh well, life goes on. I'm kinda lookin forward to college starting back up, so I'm not all that sad, but it still sucks!

On Friday, I headed to Indiana, PA to pick up some buddies of mine and then headed to our buddies house in Pittsburg, PA. A few people there owned a Wii and most of everybody there was good at Wii sports. So we held two Tennis Tournaments. The first one was a tournament of singles. There were a total of 8 people in this one, including me. At the end, I came through victorious. Next, we held the doubles tournament. Everyone was matched equally with someone else to make the teams more equal. In the end, it came down to my team and my best friends team on the fifth game and tied. He ended up getting the two points because his returns of my serves were impossible to get. They went way diagonal and we weren't fast enough! but its all good because I had one hell of a time. And as a bonus of this weekend, I met a bunch of girls, hung out,and became good friends with them. We plan on having another tournament sometime soon. I have to defend my Singles Title and take what is rightfully mine......the Title of Doubles!

On August 23rd, my 3rd college semester starts and I have to quit my full-time job. It's not that bad though because on August 1st, I was offered a better position at my company D&D Drafting and Design Inc.if I came back after I graduated college. They offered me a better office (which can't be much better than the one I have now), a giant raise (not gonna argue with that. Who would? ), and the overall satisfaction of being a full fledged Drafter. I've loved drafting ever since 9th grade, and I don't regret ever making the decision of becoming one. It has it's up's and down's, but come on, what job doesn't. It's just nice to know that I have I have a job waiting for me the second I'm done with college.

OK.........I think Thats all of them. And the collection is getting bigger every week. I'll tell ya one thing though.......I'm not doing this again.

Back in the good ol' days of the NES and SNES, my parents loved playing games like mario and donkey kong. They played as much as I did. Then came the N64, and they slowly started to back off. My dad quit playin all together and my mother only played Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie every once in a while. Then came the gamecube. She didn't bother trying any of those games. Every time I asked her to play a game with me, she was never in the mood. Then I got a DS. She slowly started playin again. She loved the mini-games in Mario 64 DS so much that she would wake me up during the night just to ask if she could play. Then, the BIGGY. The Wii! Both of my parents wanted to try it the second they saw it. After a weekend, my mother was so good at Bowling that not even I could beat her. She's still undefeated. My dad loves Bowling and Golf. He hasn't played games for 5 years and now every time I go home, he wants to play.

I can honestly say that nintendo's philosophy on "Expanding the Gaming Audience" is really workin. I notice people playing games on the Wii and DS that I've never seen play a game before. I can't wait to see what it's like 10 years from now.

As of July 28th, my entire family, except me, went on vacation in North Carolina. I'm stuck at my home, goin to work everyday, comin home, and pretty much doing nothing until I go to work the next day. The reason I couldn't go was because my 3rd college semester is coming up and I need the money really bad. Yeah, I'm P' off, but I got over it.
