this is one amazing album..period. of course without de la Rocha its not Rage, so dont expect it to be, tho over half the band is reminiscent of hard rebellious rock, audioslave has done well in creating a whole new sound without totally killing its roots. The album starts out with a bang with Cochise, something to get your blood pumping, and never lets you settle down, continuous upbeat rock until you get to like a stone, where the tempo drops, but the power's still there. one amazing contrast from Rage to Audioslave is the lack of political views even tho most of the band is heavily involved with political activity. almost like a clarified soundgarden, and a tamer Rage. and wheres all the language??!?! not in this album, cornell knows only one word in this album and its repeated three times. overall this album is a blast to listen to, especailly in the car, higly recommended for any rock fan.
