Ah....4Kids..I loved it when I was 10, now, 4 years later, i despise every moral fiber of its being. (Actually, there's nothing moral left.) Why, you ask? Let me count the many many many many many many many many many etc. ways it has flipped the bird to anime viewers everywhere.

1. If you notice, 4Kids Entertainment has the letters S-A-T-A-N in it. I'll leave it at that.

2. 4Kids MUSIC has been announced. Now kids can pop in their favorite songs from their favorite show and listen to it, blissfully unaware that they are most likely listening to a subliminal message. "BUY 4KIDS PRODUCTS. BUY MORE 4KIDS PRODUCTS. YOU ARE 4KIDS AND YOU WILL BUY OUR PRODUCTS" Why not, they put it in their anime!

3. They used to have such a good rep. Then they licensed One Piece. Most people were worried. What would happen? Then CEO Alfred R. Kahn (nicknamed "Decepti-Khan")(i'll get to that) assured the OP otakus that they will make the MIMINAL amount of changes to make it acceptable to air. Man, did they SCREW US OVER. When the show finally aired, the otakus witnessed a scene that almost got them to commit suicide. Yes, this is much worse than the Pikachu seizure scene. "His name's Zolo, just like a samurai, and an L-A-D-Y Nami's not shy" I've never seen OP before when it aired and I HATED that song. Their promise to keep the original songs was shattered. And so many fans wanted to know the excuse for the eardrum suicide known as the theme song. So, Kahn spoke for all of 4Kids when he said, "We liked it better." Thus earning him the nickname, Decepti-Khan, and turning the rep of 4Kids to virtually nothing.

4. My friend, Z1.0 (he has yet to register) has e-mailed Sega Corporation about the "dubbing" of Sonic X. The reply was that Sega was completely appalled at what they have done. In Sega's own words, "We are completely appalled at the abuse and butchering that has befallen our great icon. We apologize to all Sonic fans for this horrid mistake." So, not only are anime fans not happy with the process, but the creators aren't too sunshiney about it either.

5. 4Kids' actual intention is to make an anime show seem like it's not from Japan. I saw this spoken by Kahn. Another infamous quote from Decepti-Kahn is "U.S KIDS DON'T READ!" So, in subtlety, the CEO of 4Kids was calling U.S kids DUMB. I kid you not.

6. (as spoken by Z1.0)(referring to Shaman King) Before I saw the original Jap version, i thought 4Kids was doing a good job.Then I saw the Jap version, I was appalled at what 4Kids had done. Yoh sounded nothing like he did in the US version. Yoh's voice was somewhat deeper, but still overall, I cannot condemn them enough for the stupid episode cuts.

Umm...that's all I can think of for now. I will continue when I think of more things to rant on about.
