Wow I really had no clue.

I've never been so devastated about tv. I had no clue Drake and Josh has come to an end until five minutes ago. I feel like apart of me is slowly dying. This is very depressing, and you might think I'm being "over dramatic" but I'm really not. I've watched Drake and Josh since it first came out. Actually, I've always watched it with my little sister. It was always so fun to watch. It's probably one of the very few shows that's made me laugh that isn't on Comedy Central. That my folks is very good and appropriate. And the things is, as appropriate as it is, I've never seemed to grow out of it. It's been one of those shows that's guided me through life, I guess you could say. As the years passed by I learned how fun a show it could be without it having to go over the top. I love Drake and Josh! If it would've continued to go on I'd probably watch it all the way through High School, and actually be proud of it. You know a year ago I was very much obessed with the show. In my school planner I had a calender. In that calender I'd record concert dates, holidays, friends birthdays, due dates for school, and I would record when new seasons of Drake and Josh started. On the last week of school I was cleaning out my locker when right before I threw away my useless stuff my friends got ahold of my planner/calender. They found my Drake and Josh days. They laughed at me. But I didn't mind. I didn't feel bad about it.Drake and Josh taught me to laugh at things like random outburts, not someones flaws, mistakes, and insecruities. That, that is something I will carry on forever.
Rest In Peace
Drake and Josh.

OK but her story was on fox news chicago....

Hello my fellow tv.com friends, once again!
How has everyone been doing?

Me- well, I've been doing pretty good. I'm going to graduate next week on tuesday, and no more grade school... ever! Huh, How about that?

The only thing that has been bothering me lately is my principal! And my stupid district super intendant. And all the staff at my school, and even the stupid 7th graders at my school! How could they have been so blind? How could they say they want to "ensure our safety". How could they send social workers and district conselors to my school today thinking this could make things better.

Ok maybe I should back up. On May 25 it was my 8th grade dance. It was also a Friday night. Two blocks from my school a party was going on with underage drinking, and god knows what else. 7th graders from my school attended that party. Then memorial day weekend came. A body of an african-american girl, somewhere between the ages of 13-17 was found in a local park. Then the  week passses by and the body is still unidentified. I worried about it. I thought for sure this girl didn't attend my school. Of course, the teachers would've figured it out by now if it was one of our students. I thought she was some 17 or 16 year-old high school dropout, which would've mad sense. Then June 2nd came.....

"Ricardo Rivers was watching TV when he noticed the photo of a girl found dead in a Joliet park Memorial Day looked like one of his sisters.

He also realized he hadn't seen his sister, Haqikah H. Suggs, 14, since 8 a.m. May 25, when the Joliet seventh-grader was getting ready for school at Hufford Junior High.

So Rivers, 19, filed a missing-person report.

Because of that tip, Will County Coroner Patrick K. O'Neil announced Friday that the body was Rivers' sister, known as Kekah. "
                                              -STEWARD WARREN

I didn't know kekah. There are over 1,000 other students that attend my school. But you meet somewhere everyday in that place. Saying things like "excuse me, and thankyou" And just the fact of knowing that that same girl walked in the same halls as you, ate in the same lunhroom, drank from the same fountain, had PE in the same Gym, learned in the same room, read from the same books, had the same lousy teachers... well, it devastates me. And no one even looked out for the girl. If our principal really cared or even the teachers, well,  they would've been able to identify the girl. That's what makes me mad the most....
You know my sister, being a soldier, says that their are so many troops fighting in Iraq, but everyone is surely accounted for. A thousand students isn't that much. And if someone thinks it is then well, there is just going to be one less.

Haqikah H. Suggs- may she forever rest in peace

My story is not on lifetime.

i spent the summer of 2005 in loneliness, confusion, and devastation.

only to discover that there was grass much greener on the other side.

I spent a week on that other side.

Then I discovered I could spend a few more weeks there.

I spent more weeks there and that turned into months.

Only to discover the months turned into a year.

I spent a year somewhere where I thought I belonged.

Only to discover it was all a "cyber" figment of my imagination.

And so friends, I have spent my life for far too long at tv.com.

And I've discovered that feelings, friends, hobbies, even television shows all fade.

I spent a year growing up at tv.com

And I've discovered that it is also time for me to "fade away".

Maybe you have heard about the VA Tech massacre. Well, I was one of the first to get the news about that horrible event, which took place yesterday. That was due to the fact that I stayed off of school yesterday, and that was just to ditch. So I got bored and decided to read a book. I picked up one of new yorks best selling novel Marley & Me. With the book and the massacre going on in my life I realized how short life is. I realized what I have just written before. That things, and even life in general fade away. I've decided that it'd be about time that I started living and leaving things and old habits behind me. For instance, tv.com. And if you don't believe me (because I've only said this five billion times) then I'm sorry you don't believe I've grown up and once again, "am leaving my old habits behind me." Farewell my friends. and don't forget about me.

-forever lilypad
