I haven't written a blog is a very long time!

 I finally got a brand new cell phone!   It's a krzr. Kink of like razor but thinner and a little longer. I'm so relieved to get rid of my old one.

My fiance and I have been engaged since December and we have set our date for 5 years in the future on May 19, 2012.  However, we have been thinking that 5 years is way too long to wait.  We're getting impatient after 6 years of dating. So, we've decided that we are going to get married about 3 years sooner.  The catch is that the only people we are telling is our parents, everyone else will think that they are coming to an engagement party.  About an hour into the party we'll let everyone in on the surprise and get married right there.

Someone on theknot.com suggested a place for us and that we do a cocktail reception rather then a sit down dinner to save money. I think that's a great idea. We'll have appitizers then wedding then cake/dessert and have an open bar the whole time.  Here's the place we are home to do it

I'm a busy, busy girl for the next week..... 

Due Friday: Two page assignment about whether or not unions are a conspiracy for restrain of trade.

Due Monday: 5 - 7 page midterm paper for management on Gender vs management skills and some other crappy topic that i haven't looked at yet

Tuesday: Essay exam for Western Civ which requires me to prepare for 4 long essays and about 8 short essays ahead of time (even though she's only asking one of each), plus 2 maps to memorize

Thursday: 4 to 5 page paper for African American Literature on the importance of the works of Langhston (sp?) Huges

Starting Thursday my Earth Science professor decided to give us our only take home work of the year (of coures he gives it to us now). I have to record stuff about the weather for 5 days.

Add to that the fact that I have to spend Easter at my grandparent's on sunday and my fiance is coming home for the weekend. I'm so stressed!

My thoughts on the latest episodes of the show I'm currently watching on Sundays and Mondays....

Brothers and Sister - Sarah continues to make me angry. First she tells Rebecca about her father out of spite and then she acts like a spoiled teenager at dinner by making snide comments. Add to that the fact that her brother pulled out her hair to test her for DNA and I can totally understand why Rebecca got so angry. It took a lot of courage for her to go to the dinner, especially on her own. (Don't get me started on how Holly should have gone if only for moral support) They should have made more of an effort to welcome her, even if they don't feel totally comfortable with the situation. It's not an easy situation to be in and no one asked for it. Rebecca is as innocent as the other Walker children.

There's a little bit of a TV slump right now, so I turn to reality tv....

The Bachelor- Wow this is one heck of a guy! Successful, intelligent, adventure seeking, handsome, philantropist and all around great guy. I bet he's got some sort of weird, freaky fetish cause this guys got to have some type of fault. However, the selection of girls is not as hot if you ask me, but thank god that horrid b**** Lindsay got sent home. You remember her right? She was kind of hard to forget. To start with, she insulted the girl who got the first rose right to her face, then started a fight with the drunk girl who fell of the stool and, finally, threw a tantrum when she didn't get a rose. Did she remind anyone else of that girl from Laguna Beach season 3?

I Love New York - This week was the finale of I Love New York where she had a choice between Chance and Tango. Luckily, for her mother and anyone who was beyond annoyed by him (myself included), Chance was given the boot. But that was not the end of the story, because Tango actually got down on one knee and proposed to New York! I'm still baffled at why anyone would be attracted to this women let alone want to marry her, but to each his own I guess. Something tells me not to put too much investment into an engagement that happens literally second after she broke up with her other boyfriend. To his credit, Tango has been saying for a while (in tv time) that he is in love with New York.

In related news, there's another Flavor of Love spin off that's starting after the I Love New York reunion special on April 15. Flav's former girls will be attended charm school......

I've always been a total planner. I started looking at colleges when I was a freshman in high school and with my wedding 5 years away it kills me not to be able to plan it lol  It's just so weird to think that 5 or 6 years from now I'm going to be a full grown adult with real responsiblities.  I'll be graduating and starting my career, which is strange in it self not to have to going to classes anymore.  Then there's getting married and buying our first home.  Pat told me this weekend that he want to start having kids at 25/26!  That means we'll get started right after the wedding haha And it all begins in 5 years. Maybe even less! It's all very exciting and scary to think about.

One of my favorite Lost episodes just because we got to learn more about Nikki!

They totally tricked me into thinking she was a stripper from one of the old previews.  I like that she was an actress. I also thought it was funny when Nikki said “I’m just a guest star. We all know what happens to guest stars.” haha very obvious foreshadowing for Kiele lol

Someone on another forum actually made an anti- Nikki/Paulo thread because they are “stealing screen time”.  They had no lines for weeks and they get one episode so they are stealing screen time? People will never be happy. One minute they are pointless because they never get a scene and the next they are stealing scenes.

I guess Paulo getting shot in the head was a foiler.

I have to say I'm relieved to see that Nikki died. Now Kiele can be on Football Wives and there is not more complaining from Nikki haters! woohooo

I am a little confused though because I thought Nikki would live. I had heard rumors of a Nikki centric episode in the future. Guess not

Tonight's episode of What About Brian was one of the best episodes ever of the series. It made me cry.  Overall I'm happy with it as a series finale should that be the case but I would really like to see a 3rd season.

I wasn't feeling Brian/Steph much until tonight! I love them together.

Dave and Deena are finally back together.  That was very sweet. I'm happy that they worked through all of their problems

I just got back from a long weekend in Boston! It was pretty fun except for the fact that my younger brother drives me insane. He discovered South Park a few months ago and has a whole new pleasant vocabulary lol

The first day we got there late so we just went out to dinner. The next day we went to the science museum where we went to a butterfly exhibit which was basically a green house with butterflies flying around. Then we went to a planetarium which was not has good as the last planetarium I went to. The next day we walked around Quincy Market and went out to dinner and now we’re home.

I also love staying in hotel cause I get to watch all the movies I’ve been wanting to see. I finally saw The Hitcher with Sophia Bush. That was a pretty good movie. I also watched The Holiday with Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet. It made me cry. I’m such a sap. Haha Then there was Man of the Year with Robin Williams.  I enjoyed that movie too. We also watched Night at the Museum, which I didn’t want to see but it turned out to be good.

I havent been able to get to my profile for a couple of days now. Stupid glitches!  It's finally working

I'm going to Boston this weekend. I can't wait. I'm sooo ready for a mini vacation and I haven't been to Boston in a while.
