After the end, comes another beginning.

Hello everyone! Long time no see. (ummm cheezy) Statistically speaking there was not even a SINGLE blog post by me on Gamespot in the 2009 and to be exact, the last blog post was way back in December 18th 2008!

I've always been a huge procrastinator, but I guess I reached the ultimate level last year. I did plan to post many times but ended up with none. I would daily check blog updates from fellow GS'ers and comment... but that too stopped last year. The only thing that I kept doing was the first thing I did when I joined GS, post in the forums. I daily check my post history and keep talking to pals from various unions. However, there are two groups of friends at GS, people who you talk with in the forums and others with whom you communicate via blog comments, I've missed you all, my blog friends. Now, its time to change that.

The main point to note now is that, its the END of the FIRST DECADE of the... NEW MILLENNIUM. Being someone who has only lived for two whole decades, this last one sure has been quite a ride. I got my computer in '98, internet connection in '99 and been at Gamespot ever since.

Hundreds of movies were seen, songs were heard, games were played and of course, days were lived. The biggest way how this past decade was different was that I now basically had two lives. One online and the other, offline. I am pretty sure everyone here understands what it exactly means. Once you go online, the uncontrolled flow of information really gets your brain on overdrive.

I've already been writing about all games that I played, from the Atari 2600 till the present. So I wont be going down that road (will definitely finish the series soon!) There are hundreds of games I've played this decade and the same goes for games from this decade (played lot of oldies too ) Me being the sentimental person I am, find it almost impossible to choose a "Top - whatever" because, every game I played has this strange attachment.

Anyhoo, I had the privilege of being part of the panel that decided the Game of the Decade at bossfight.in. I had a look at my sorted collection, listed out all good games, trimmed down the list to 100 and then added some cIassics which were worth mentioning and then sorted the list according to rankings. Its not something I generally do, but somehow, with a late night high, I was able to do it, the draft that I made is too... not for public eyes But do check out the top 50 that is being listed by combining the input from the whole Panel at that website!

Lets recollect 2009!

Two really big things happened to me last year, gaming wise. Indian Gamespot buddies, From IGG Union, who have known each other for more than 4 years on Gamespot, met IRL at the centre of India, Nagpur. We all are from different states, and the host of the 3 day bash, the IGGBASH, was gagan21.

IGGBash Begins!

I arrived from Hyderabad, Neeraj from Chennai, Shiben from Bengaluru, Amit from Jabalpur and Gagan's cousin from Delhi, all(but Jabalpur ) capitals of different states of India and India itself. We gathered at Nagpur, which is the geographical center of India, also, home town of Gagan himself! It was felt like the premise of a really cool movie It was three whole days of crazy gaming fun. Everybody brought their controllers with them, Gagan had all the consoles and games anyone could ever ask for.

My stuff that I took to IGGBash

We played games non-stop till early morning, we would just sleep and wakeup and start playing again like crazy people, haha. Gagan surely knows how to throw a party. I don't think the whole experience would have been as awesome as it was if it weren't for him.

We played ODST on Co-op, 8 player all-indian team games on Halo3, Co-Op horde mode on Gears2, 4 Player Splitscreen Motorstorm Pacific Rift, 4P FIFA, 4P LittleBigPlanet, WarioWare Smooth Movies, Mario Kart Wii, ad-hoc Tekken 5 on PSP, co-op Contra 4 on DS. You name it, we played it. We even played Batman AA on Neeraj's Killer laptop. We did side by side comparisons of PS3 and PC versions of B:AA,starting the game at the same time on both, PC Won! haha

Check out the whole album to get a feel of the joy. Honestly, this is going to be one of those things that I'm going to tell stories about, to my grandchildren There we were, people who grew up playing games all alone and in a place where games were not all that universally acknowledged.. now all in our 20s, enjoying ,playing games together and discussing all this nonsense that anyone from outside would just run away after hearing. Even when we went out to eat we would be talking on various topics, all game related. Its not like clan meeting and discussing strategies, Things about the gaming industry in general and what things are happening in India etc etc. Simply put, it was one of the best experiences ever. Thanks for being there guys!

The Participants of IGGBash

NASSCOM Indian Game Developers conference.

I got to know that there is thing GDC type thing happening right in my city, and without a second thought, I went and got registered for it. Being a student has its perks, The fee was just Rs.500/- for me, instead of Rs.1500.

It was a two day event, but first day was strictly corporate stuff. I was there for the second day. The opening keynote was given by Ernest Adams. He is... awesome, the presentation he gave, showed all general flaws in game development and how people should think while making games. 20+ years of industry experience is no Joke!

There were many other talks, talks on game music, graphics, MMOs, etc. I attended all I could and of course the most important one of the day was the one on being DIFFERENT by Anand Ramachandran. He is the one who writes for Bossfight.in, but many indians might know him from Son of Bosey, one of India's funniest blogs. You could say... he is like, the Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw of India The talk was really thought provoking.

After the day's events ended, me, him and two of the organisers from NASSCOM had long discussions, all about video games and other random philosophical stuff, that, much like IGGBASH, never get to discuss IRL. The discussions and everything went on till very late in the night. We all signed off, each gaining a new friend.

Lists and Time wasted so far.

The Lowdown | Games | Movies | Anime

Similar to how everything happened outside, in real life, most of my talks with GS friends happened outside too. I talk to many friends via portals like steam, or facebook or e-mails or even Phone.. its like the relation has gone... TO THE NEXT STEP, haha Its nice to see that a friendship that sprouted from GS has translated so well into real life.

I might not have been coming to GS too much, but will never forget what all it has done for me.

Well now... lets get to the Stats and resolutions!

In 2008, I saw about 300+ episodes of anime, and that was really something. I only saw around 20-something movies that year. Quite disappointed by that fact, I made it my "New Years Resolution" last year to see more movies.

So... how did 2009 turn out to be? Well, I was not keeping track of the number until yesterday when I sat and compiled the whole list (which was made easy thanks to twitter). I saw... *drumroll* 73 AKA Seventy Three movies last year! haha. I didn't expect it to be that high Whenever I got any free time, I just sat and watched a movie, I have this huge stack of shelved movies. Good thing I did I guess.

But, then came the end of 2009 Games list. EVERYDAY, I sit and read articles upon articles about games, but somehow, whenever its time to play games I felt "The time available is not enough for a game" (i.e. procrastination) I played (through its entirety) only 15 games last year. I did play 20+ hours of many games and didn't complete them, FF XII to name one. This only showed one thing. I'm not spending time with games! I always find myself reading stuff and complaining that I'm not playing anything.

*The New Year's Resolution

So this New Year's resolution is to Play games, especially because this will be my last year in my super happy fun home, and my Home Theatre. If everything goes according to plan, should be leaving for my higher studies in august. So, this is the best time to enjoy games to the fullest. Console games. Coz after that, I guess its just steam and me HP tablet. Bought too many games from Steam deals... they be crazy I tellsya!

Oh yeah, the only animé show I saw last year was GTO, although, its was VERY much worth it. One of the best experiences ever. I got its manga and have to read it sometime. Also, have to watch more animé this year too, I've stalled them at 100 (shows watched). The other thing I did was, read the whole School Rumble manga from start to finish. It was quite an adventure. Then ending... it was... oh well, anyway, its over. All I can say is, the last stretch, I read from 7 PM to 7AM, that's how awesome it was.

Definitely though, when I look back. 2009 has been a year full of unforgettable moments.

Let hope I manage to keep the tempo and start writing stuff and talking to you guys more frequently. The thing is that... real life is no cake walk. I'm in my final year of engineering and time has to be dedicated to it. Cant just expect EVERYTHING to happen as planned. I still have played ONLY TWO games from my year old package smackage blog post!

If anything, I will always be active on twitter because I'm always connected in some way or the other. So keep track that way (at your own risk ) if you want to see my gaming and life updates as and when they happen.

Christmas time is here =) , and TheIndianChild's Tekkenmania BEGINS

Heya guys , it's been a while since I've posted a blog . Y know me ... for a few months , I'm a regular poster on GS , but then for the next few months , my presence completely disappears .

Anyways , Christmas is here , and it's the season to be jolly .

And I'm freakin jolly indeed ... after 3 years of waiting , I've finally gotten my hands on Tekken 6 . As a die-hard Tekken enthusiast , I'm glad to say that this game does not disappoint . Sure , you've got people whining over it's half-fleshed out Scenario campaign , and others whining over the fact that there have'nt been many changes since Tekken 5 .

So , to all the Tekken 6 whiners out there , I say ... you guys suck . As a 10 year old Tekken lover ( since Tekken 3 ) , I hate to hear people trashing such an awesome fighting game . IMO , it's the best fighting game of 2009 , better than Street Fighter IV ( which I hated BTW =X ) , and I really hope Gamespot feels the same way too .

Anyways , for those who want a great game to enjoy with aa lot friends , and which is worth every buck you spend on it , Tekken 6 is the game for you . I ASSURE YOU , Street Fighter 4 is not even in the same league as Tekken 6 .

Speaking of Tekken 6 though , here are a few of my favorite characters so far ... =)

LING XIAOYU : One of my all time Tekken favourites , since Tekken 3 . =) Love ya , Ling .

SERGEI DRAGUNOV : My new favorite . =) He's one Badass Russian ... BEWARE =O .

HEIHACHI MISHIMA : One of my mains since Tekken 4 . The best of the Mishimas . =D

LARS : The best of the new characters , along with Dragunov . He's an ASS KICKING MACHINE .

CHRISTIE MONTEIRO : I'm surprised how awesome I am with her , even though I have'nt gone through her moves list even once ... lol .

PS : Ain't she hideous ?

There are a few more , like Lili , Leo , Law and other who I like as well , but I guess we'll move on from Tekken 6 .

Anyways , moving on to my life , my college just closed 2 days back . And while most of my friends are going out of town to spend Christmas , I'll be staying here in Ernakulam with my family . I hope it turns out to be an awesome christmas .

And I'm really starting to love my Guitar lately . It's been a year since I started self-learning this beautiful instrument , and I'm really happy about how much I've learned to play all by myself . Me and my friend have formed this 2 man band , with the cheeziest band name ever ( so cheezy that I'm not even gonna mention it :lol . But sucking band name aside , our music's pretty good .

And I'm dying to see Avatar . Hope I get to see it soon .

Alrighty then , that pretty much sums up all I had to say in this blog spot .

WISHING ALL MY GAMESPOT BUDDIES ( ESPECIALLY MY IGG BUDDIES ) AN AWESOME CHRISTMAS .

TheIndianChild bids y'all , goodbye for now ... see ya in 2010 .

Fallout 3 - My thoughts on the immersive wasteland!

Writing a review for Fallout 3 is like playing golf in a mine field! However hard I (or so to say anyone&hellip may try to get it right in the first shot, chances is some game fan may 'blast' the reviewer over disagreement on some aspect of this game. And why not - a brilliant and huge RPG like Fallout 3 commands respect, awe & dedicated long game-play hours. One has to be extremely careful writing about a game that has left millions of gamers charged up around the world. With the hope of evoking less 'blasts' and more bouquets, I hereby pen down my post-play thoughts on the Playstation 3 version of this wonderful game.

Intro - "So what is Fallout 3?"

Fallout 3 is the third sequel in the series of role-playing games set in the universe of post nuclear annihilation. Though the first two games were developed by now defunct Black Isle Studios (part of Interplay Entertainment), the third title has been made by Bethesda Softworks (my favorite Elder Scrolls studio!) which now also owns the right to make all Fallout games. Fallout 3 is set 36 years after Fallout 2 and 200 years after nuclear war devastated the game's world.

Story - "Does this RPG have a plot?"

That's a tough one! Not because it does not have a main quest (albeit nothing fancy or memorable except the climax), but because there is so much to do in the Fallout world, that you may actually loose track of your "story" in no time! You are born and raised in a "vault" – special anti-nuclear bunkers capable of protecting & sustaining life. While your mom died during child-birth, come age 19 & your dad goes missing too. Forced to escape the vault, you begin searching for him in the wasteland around now ruined Washington D.C. The main quest is centered on your father's attempts to conclude Project Purity - a revolutionary technique to free all wasteland water of radiation that will help bring normalcy to the life of waste-landers. As you explore the wasteland, you will encounter hundreds of characters who may engage you in side quests. Completion of these quests helps in further exploration & enhancement of your skill-sets. The number of these quests is way less than that of Bethesda's Oblivion, but quite a lot of them are pretty thrilling (nuking a town and watching it from the highest point in the game world for e.g.)

Whether you prefer to dissolve yourself into the umpteen quests of the wasteland or strictly follow your papa's directions depends on the level of your nomadic adventurer spirit, but rest assured, your satisfaction gauge will always be pointing towards the "full" level!

Gameplay – "Can I do whatever I feel like?"

Yes, you can do whatever you feel like. You can choose to escape or face combat, you can choose to sneak, lie or kill, you can choose to be good or bad – but whatever you do, don't forget the famous one-liner from Bioshock: "We all make choices in the beginning, but in the end, it's our choices that make us!!" The Fallout world is extraordinary & requires you to be one as well!

While your growth phase from an infant to a teen in the vault doubles up as a tutorial level, meaty gameplay triggers in when you step out in the wasteland. Though small compared to Oblivion, Fallout's world is still quite large. You will traverse huge landscapes & long underground metro tunnels to get to your destinations. Once you discover a location, you can then fast travel to it from any point (unlike Far Cry 2 where traveling was a chore!). You will perform many activities like (but not limited to) conversation, combat, stealing, lock-picking, computer hacking, weapon creation through scavenged items and even decorating your apartment with useful gadgets – thereby adding an element of believable liveliness in the game world.

Fallout is set in a lawless wasteland and it makes no bones about the fact that guns & grenades are your best companions. However, all the combat stuff that you prepare, scavenge, steal or buy in the wasteland has an effective life & needs regular repairs to ensure its continuity & effectiveness. So before getting trigger happy, ensure you're using the right weapon and not the one you plan to make your alter-ego (lest you should end up wasting it!). Even armor may have skill enhancing effects and remembering to dress appropriately for the right occasion (from conversation to combat) helps in sailing through them faster.

The game benefits very heavily from the combat-oriented Vault-tec Assisted Targeting System (or V.A.T.S.) which makes shooting a fun-filled, gratifying & infectious experience. For gamers to whom V.A.T.S. is greek or latin, remember the rare shooting sequences in Max Payne where the camera flew along with the bullet & the bad guy died in slow motion? (now don't say "What's Max Payne?"). Well here when you engage V.A.T.S. at the click of a button (it's optional btw!), the game world freezes to let you analyze whom & where (body part) you want to shoot. After selecting a sequence of shots for single / multiple targets, you will witness execution of those shots in various slow-mo camera angles. What's more, the resulting splattering / flying of limbs & dead bodies delivers a superb & gratifying visual treat that will make you want to do it repeatedly. However, V.A.T.S. drains your fatigue meter & you need to engage in normal FPS combat while the meter recharges after usage.

The enemies in Fallout are pretty tough (what else did you expect from radiation exposed ghouls & mutants?) which is why you need to have a steady hand in combat. Properly aimed shots at various body parts evoke different reactions – shoot a leg & the target hobbles & slows down, shoot the arm and the target may drop his weapon, shoot the antennas of some creatures & they go berserk …….. the responses are extensive! Though V.A.T.S. definitely gives you an upper edge in combat (especially at higher skill levels), I will not complain because the wasteland is filled with creatures who take anything from a single bullet to a mini-nuke to go down. Multiply the encounter in terms of numbers you're facing, and the first few strategic V.A.T.S. shots may actually decide the odds of your survival in a firefight!

The game's nuclear war took place some where in the 1950s. Consequently, though 200 years have passed, the cultural evolution is still under a time warp. Most of the paraphernalia, junked vehicles & civilian locations you will find in the wasteland will carry a heavy 1950s feel to it (just like Bioshock). Your arduous quests in the wasteland are journalized & managed through a PiP-Boy – an advanced hand wrapped device that will also act as a map guide, status & inventory manager.

Like a true blue RPG, Fallout allows you to develop your character any way you like. You can choose your character's name, appearance, attributes (aligned within one of the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. categories) early on during your birth in the game. As you play and level up, you get to distribute points you gain across the attributes to enhance your skill-sets. Whether you want to become a thief, scientist or a trigger happy psycho is totally up to you! Since quests have multiple & sometimes conflicting choices, you get the privilege to be either a hero or the villain. The effect of your actions will judge the level of your karma. Higher karma = you're a very good guy & low karma = you're the villain! Being good or bad has its own effects in terms of dialogue choices & quest execution further on.

Many game situations are challenging and require a structured thought process before they can be aligned with. For e.g.: Food & water restores health but they are heavy on radiation – so consume them and you may end up with radiation poisoning. Similarly, do too much good and the contract for your beheaded corpse will start floating around the wasteland in no time! Kill a character and all associated quests will be lost with it. Funny or weird as it may sound, small details like these ultimately add lots of realism to the behavior of the entire fallout world that hasn't known normalcy & governance for 200 years!

Graphics - "What does a wasteland look like?"

Step out of the vault and your first look at the Fallout world may qualify as a finalist in the list of "most memorable video game scene". As the blinding light slowly gives way to a blurry & then a sharp visual of a ruined (yet majestic) landscape, a perfect sense of déjà vu creeps in. It's a rare feat for a game to evoke strong emotional reactions but Fallout manages to do that somehow. Everything in the Fallout world is beautifully crafted – from ruined Washington monuments to vast landscapes, from superb sky & day-night effects to weapon models & animations. Fallout shines like a star in the graphics department.

However, the under-detailed character models had me wondering if the character engine was also residing in some vault for 200 years! Bland features & limited animations make them look ugly compared to the beautifully detailed landscape they reside in. Their movement feels floaty & the optional third person perspective for the player can get repelling at times. There are other visual glitches like movement through solid floors / walls, irregular spawning of characters, sub-optimal textures etc. but thankfully these are less & tolerable.

While many world locations are big & varied, repetitiveness creeps in at some level designs. The metro tunnels, underground basements & sewers all carry almost same level designs even in different locations. Building ruins will also start feeling similar after you spend an extensive number of hours exploring the game world. However, it is easy to ignore these otherwise boring elements thanks to the sense of purpose in your explorations where lowering your guard may lead to death or broken limbs in no time.

Sound:

The music of Fallout 3 is very similar to that of Oblivion, many peaceful tunes played out during normal explorations sound like derivatives of the Oblivion ones. But combat tunes are quite pulsating & add weight to the tension. The game also features some awesome sound effects & ambient noises. While resounding gunshots will make your weapon feel capable during combat, disturbing enemy sounds in dark metro tunnels will put you on the edge of your couches instantly! Infact sound effects have so much influence that depending on the situation, you may find yourself wondering whether it's an action – adventure game or survival horror one! The voice-work is also crisp & varied, thereby toning down the effect of lack of character model variety in the game.

Performance

The game is plagued by some technical visual issues. Though I've heard that the Playstation version has more of them compared to the X360, no confirmation can be made because I played it only on my PS3 at high-def res. While the frame-rate was steady for 99% of the game, characters & textures were buggy sometimes. The map marker depicting quest targets / location is in the habit of going awry on some occasions. So is the character interaction that freezes for a second or two before continuing. The overall experience however is commendable considering the long draw distances & extensively traversable landscape detailed out in the game.

Closing Comments

Did I finish fallout 3? Honestly speaking, I don't know if completion of main quest is the correct way to conclude that an RPG is "finished". But I have played the game extensively and will be continuing with it for sometime. Despite some frustrating technical glitches & evident Oblivion inspiration, it's hard to get enough of the game and put it down. It's a very immersive RPG that cannot be given a miss for all the nuclear bombs (or bombshells ) in this world! The game's standalone merits are its gorgeous landscape, engaging game-play, immersive environments & deeply interesting quests. While the real world governments know better to avoid a nuclear holocaust, you can safely invest your money in Fallout to experience the virtual one & be extremely satisfied after doing so! Happy Gaming!

Fallout 3 is imaginative but is really tough and complicated at the same time

Hi guys,

I have not been in blogging lately and this is yet again a pictureless blog but anyways I after my busy schedule got time to play Fallout 3 and so far I really like the work that Bethesda has done to create a fiction to life. Th individual (NPC's) in the game are really interesting the situation the location and environment is great and also the fact that game gives you different opponents in the same place every time you replay i.e your enemies you encounter change from time like they themselves have their life and are not sitting at a place for you to come. And at the end grpahics are superb for a Open world game some places have low res texture but the game is not plauged with loading problems like Oblivion and is quite smooth and it really scales very well on PC than on consoles.

But after spending near abt 7 hours into Fallout I feel its getting overly complicated every misson gets tough like hell you cant reach destintation so easily many times I had to refer gameguides so to succed in misson and thats what I am not liking DC is very well made but it really hard to roam even 5 minutes in the city plus you dont know the exact path and place to meet the person. Dead around corner in Fallout very well bought to life but its getting hard to digest. I think Fallout is for Hardcore gamers i.e you have to put lot of time to know the game. BUt anyways i like the game but I wont be playing it for a while. Now I am on RE5, this one has gorgeous graphics not as good as RE4 but still good enough to play.

12 of my iPhone games reviewed

Not long reviews. Just something to give iPhone (and perspective iPhone owners) an idea of what's out there and whether it's worth bothering with at this early stage in iPhone game development. All opinions below are my own. all screenshots were taken off my phone. If you have a question, leave a comment.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

It's a good looking game and pretty fun. It's on rails, meaning you don't control where the character goes. you only control combat decisions by drawing patterns with your finger on the screen. Good looking graphics, servicable sound. Game does save on return to home.

Dream's opinion: pick it up

Big Bang Board Games

Big Bang is a compilation of games (Chess, Checkers, Reversi, Mancala, 4 in a row, Backgammon, Tic Tac Toe). Professionally done and beautifully executed, I'd recommend this suite of games to anyone who enjoys the above games. I can't speak to the difficulty level of the AI in the games, but there is a "Master Difficulty" and option to choose if the player or AI goes first. No 2 player options.

Dream's opinion: pick it up

============================================

Monkey Ball

Monkey ball is a true Monkey Ball game. Personally, I find it a bit difficult to control with tilting, but you may enjoy it more like that. great graphics and high production value.

Dream's opinion: pick it up, if you like Monkey Ball. others will find the controls a turn-off, I suspect.

============================================

Texas Hold'em

High quality Texas Hold'Em game with varying levels of challenge (indicated by "cost" to play in each venue). provides single player and online multiplayer gaming. If you like Texas Hold'Em, your choice here is clear. It's a must.

Dream's opinion:
pick it up

=============================================

Blackjack 21

Decent blackjack game. Simple to play with clean graphics. Even has random achievements. lol.

Dream's opinion: pick it up if you need blackjack.

=============================================

Tap Tap Revenge

Let's face it: this app was better when it was only available for jailbroken phones. There was a time when this app allowed you to take any song in your music library and add your own taps to the music. then you could go back and play them. Big fun. Now, you have to select from the handful of songs they have available that you probably won't like. In genres that you might not like.

if they go back to allowing users to use their own mp3's to play songs, this app will go back to being made of win. But as it is now, it feels like an empty shell of what made it great. too bad.

If I could still get the old version, I would.

Dream's opinion: pass for now.

=============================================

Tetris

Professionally made by EA, it's good old Tetris as you'd expect it to be. Nothing more, nothing less.

Dream's opinion: pick it up

=============================================

Critter Crunch

an unusual puzzle game in the vein of Tetris, where you feed smaller critters to bigger critters in order to get them to over-eat, explode and blow up adjacent critters of equal size. It makes more sense when you see it. Think Bejeweled and Tetris crossed.

Dream's opinion: pass

=============================================

Line Rider

It's Line Rider. lol. iPhone edition allows you to share your tracks or download tracks from others via your linerider.com account. Extra options include Draw & Pan, Night Ride, and Gravity Tilt.

Dream's opinion: pick it up

=============================================

Funky Punch

The first fighting game for the iPhone. It's pretty cute and pretty functional.

Dream's opinion: pass unless youre desperate for a fighting game.

=============================================

Brain Challenge

Another game with very high production value. If you're into DS games like Brain Age or Brain Training, this is a game to have. Just as good as if not better than those. All the same kinds of features as those games.

Dream's opinion: pick it up

=============================================

Stone of Destiny

Ultimately, it's something of a Where's waldo game with a timer where you find objects in a picture. Some objects are genuinely hard to find. Cool "passing the time" game. Pretty high quality production in this game. game does save on return to home.

Dream's opinion: pass

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All in all, there are some good games and some misses. Brain Challenge stands out as the biggest winner. Star Wars, Texas Hold 'Em, Big Bang and Monkey Ball are also excellent options.
Considering devs only began bringing games to the platform 3 months ago, I expect the future of iPhone gaming to be bright indeed.
Need to clear this up.
Hey guys and girls.
Hope you remember me. Wasnt here for a long time, Even left without a bye. Cause i was that much hurt and sad when i left this place it was not because of leaving the site. Was something else. Well i came here just to clear things up, I felt falling for someone and dont want to get back there which was just a waste of time for me.
Gamespot changed me a lot. Hell lot. I became more stupid as seconds passed by in this site. I didnt knew what life was. Leaving this site improved me in many ways. I stopped gaming, Got addicted to Emo, Screamo type of songs. Yeah, My band genre has been changed, We are now what real screamo's are. Changes are good sometimes. We should never listen to others. What we follow should be fullfilled.
The funniest thing was, I forgot my MSN password. lol. I never log in MSN much. As time passed by password is forgotten. So i didnt chat with any "old gamespot" friends. No one even bothered to chat with me. Bleh. I was a disgrace. When i came back to see all the piece of sh*t i created here. I felt like "God, Was that me? Am such a su*ker here. This is why no one talks with me here. This is why no one cared me here. I can say myself. I was a fool".
And for everyones info. I and Leena is not broke up. It was just a little break. She is now someone who i never even dreamt to be. Just like the old me. Who loves acoustic songs. And she is learning guitar... I was sad and kinda emo with her changes. But i got strong and lived. With leaving old Harry behind and to start a new life... Yeah am in a new life now. Hoping for peace and good result in my 12th grade main exam, which is going on now...
Thats all i want to say...
Harry Kris.
And yeah here you go... A pic of me . This is me now.
Enjoying The Boring Holidayz
I hope everyone except me would be having a great time these holidays.
Well I wrote this blog one week before becuse I know there's nothing new these holidays and will not happen also.
I spent the most of the holidays playing past games on PS2.Nothing new this summer.Well actually I don't play on PC yet I played some flash games on the net most of them strategy only because Action is only meant for consoles I believe.Please PC fans don't get hurt by the statement.
I watched some flash based animations also and I must confess all those animations were Damn Cool.The ones I watched included:
1.Xiao Xiao:I hope everyone would have watched this famous stick animation.I really liked it especially the fighting and the matrix ****included in it..
2.Rob Zombie:It is a zombie series and based on stick animation in which a zombie hunts down the whole city.It has a good storyline and good effects.Well the series is incomplete and hopes to be completed by the author sooner.
3.Dead Rain:It is also a zombie series in which a city gets zombified due to a poisonous rain.It also has a good storyline and the best part is a one man fighting to the end to save his life by any means.Like Rob Zombie the series is also incomplete but may be there wold be further additions in the near future.
4.Miss Dynamite:A good and naughty adult flash animation.The first few episodes are boring but starts to get interesting later on.Every episode is new or a sequel to previous episode and that makes the freshness of the story.Episodes are being added regularly and the next episode is based on the overall viewers voting on the options given by the makers.
5.Xin:My most favourite series.It is a complete series with Xin as the protagonist.The story is based on the schools with basically the corrupting of school environment and the introduction of corporal punishment.I wasn't able to understand some plots in the story like.....when you watch the story you would come to know.The series is awesome in the sense that it has excellent action scenes,excellent characters,excellent storyline in one word excellence.It is a must watch I must say.
6.Xombie:It is also one of the best flash animation with a good storyline,characters,action sequence.It is a story about a girl,a zombie who has human mind means he is a zombie by appearance but thinks and feels like a human.The best thing I liked about it was that it had emotions in it which very few flash animations have.The series is currently running and will end in october with the release of the last episode.
7.Ninjai:Ninjai is a story based on a small boy who has unnatural warrior abilities.Ninjai in my sense is like child version of Samurai Jack and more than that.The series is currently running and a must watch because of its best cinematic quality and a good storyline.
Of the above I would really recommend you watching Xiao Xiao,Xin,Xombie,Ninjai.Miss Dynamite can be watched too.But Dead Rain and Rob Zombie are incomplete stories I mean that they have been left by their authors a long ago.You could watch them but your curiosity will rise in the series that will have no end.Like Xin is a complete series and Xombie will get completed in October.Ninjai is running series that will have episodes being added at regular intervals.So I would appreciate it if you watch the series.I would not mention the website otherwise everyone would sue me of advertising.But they can be easily found by searching the exact name on google.
Oh God! I forgot to tell everyone one thing that I have bought the New Nokia 6300.The phone is quite excellent in function and moreover it has 16.7K Million Colours,one of the reason I didn't bought a NSeries Mobile.Well,certainly it has less buttons as compared to NSeries.But the cell is good I must say not as much stylish.I would give it:
Looks:7/10
Function:10/10
Overall Score:9/10 (I know its 8.5)
Well I think I have written the longest blog in my life and u would also be getting bored.But in the last try to watch those animations and recommend me some animations if u know.I would really appreciate it.
Thanking Everyone For Reading My Blog and Enjoy Your Holidays More Than Me.
Profile Changes
I've made some changes to my profile.
I put up the bozshots of stuff i've reviewed so far. Click on some of them
Also edited out the garb i'd written earlier in the About Me section and it looks somewhat better now.
Yeah the profile is looking a bit cluttered but it'll have to do for now i suppose. I'm thinking of editing it more so it looks cleaner but it'll have to wait a bit.
