This band is so underrated. I've been into them since EMPTY came out & even saw them live when they came to town for the tour. The place was a ghost town, but they played their asses off for us anyways!! THANKS YOU GUYS!
Their style is just so different from so much that is out there, yet at the same insatantly recognizeable, accesable & friendly. Like a warm blanket. I can't state enough how much I love this band! They seem able to perfectly blend semi-industrial grooves with samples & very soulful vocals & lyrics. What may seem like an "overuse of an envelope filter" at first turns out to be such a good thing after a few listens! I've never heard it put to such good use before. I can hear deft hip-hop beats all over this & it blends seamlessly. Honest, if you do not have this recording, pick this album up as soon as possible!!

For the time in which it was released,, it was a perfect blend of the genres that were struggling so badly for definition & this band hit the nail squarely on the head! Ahead of the game using samples & drum beats that complement near metal/industrial rhythms.. It's a F#$%ING MASTERPIECE!!
