Seriously, if you have not downloaded the new Iced Earth EP, you have to.  Yes, it has been leaked a month early, and it is killer.  The new single, Ten Thousand Strong is very awesome.

Now on to other news, today, May 3rd, is my birthday.  I am now 19.  To bad i'm stuck here at LSU.  Once again, so far, my birthday has pretty much sucked.  I got soaked running to math class, and when i got there, i found out i failed my test, all due to me being a dumass and making stupid mistakes.  Great stuff, no?  And i have to work tonight, too.  Bleh.

Oh, and coincidentally, i made my 10,000th post today.  Yes today, my birthday.  Ten thousand strong, baby.

Well, i turned 18 on Wednesday, May 3rd.  My b-day kinda sucked though.  It was the one day i had to stay after work (an extra two hours til seven).   Also, as i'm graduating in two weeks, my family members for the most part got me big joint graduation/birthday presents that i will recieve when i graduate.  While i may sound like an ass saying this, my birthday was a little sad because i had to work extra late and got no presents.   Amazingly enough, i didn't even notice until the next day, when i actually analyzed the events of the day before.  I was like, "WTF?  My b-day kinda sucked, now that i think about it..."  I must have become uber-mellow over the past couple of years to have not noticed.

Well, anyways, now i can vote, buy a gun (w000t!), and be drafted (serve my country!   I would go in by choice, as i really want to, but training for the reserves and college won't mix).

Well, this is my first blog entry.  I've never really had any use for blogs.  I just don't like them much, really.  I guess you could say i'm the anti-blog.

Anyways, it's been six months to the day since hurricane Katrina hit the gulf coast.  She came ashore August 29th.  Seeing as there is no February 29th this year, March 1st will have to do. 

Well, Katrina totally f*cked up my city.  Will New Orleans get ass-raped again this coming hurricane season?  I pray that that does not happen. 

I'd like to have a moment of silence(preferably filled with prayer) here for all those who died from the storm.  For all those who lost love ones, for all those who lost homes, who lost everything. 

At least we had Mardi Gras to take our mind off things.  Yup, fat tuesday was yesterday.  The parades served as a nice distraction to get away from it all.  Amazingly, the crowds were almost normal compared to years past, even though many have not yet returned to their homes(mainly those who can't afford the trip back and are unwilling to work for it seeing as the government has provided everything for them their whole lives).
