Well Iron Man owned. Another hit by Marvel!!!

Who said that DC was better than Marvel? LMAO. I'am glad that the movie was a success. There were a lot of doubts here. Jon Favreau directing a big comic book movie? Robert Downey whose on and off exploits are famous as the lead? Well all that turn to mush as the movie delivered the goodies. You know Iron Man really is one of the most underrated and overlooked comic book heroes ever. He actually does share a lot of things in common with Bruce Wayne/ aka Batman. He is not like Spider-Man or The Hulk where his power comes from something radioactive or gamma rays. Nope. With that said, I've followed Iron Man for a while, I remebered watching the 60's and 90's cartoon and of course read the comics for a while. All in all it's great that a hero has come from the comic book:

To the big screen. This guarantees of course a lot of cool sequels. You can read a long in-depth review of the film from me at Amazon (under GrreatMovieCriticForever)

Iron Man Heart of steel plus comments on the movie

In this story, Tony Stark, Iron Man fights against a corporation/terrorist group known as Advanced Idea Mechanics who are crippling the land of Madripoor. Stark even gets kidnapped by the group but escapes and well you'll have to read the rest to see what happens. This was part of the Hulk/Iron Man comic I've posted earlier and it comes with a lot of great artwork. After this there's another great Iron Man story following (in the same comic!!!) called Enter The Dragon. Like I will said I'am no comic book buff but I know quality when I see it and this Hulk/Iron Man Special Edition comic is worth buying.

Speaking of great, the Iron Man comes out in a few days and from early reviews it looks like a good movie. It doesn't look like a letdown but I'am sure going to see it. Speaking of which Burger King has a nice thing for Kids Club, a poster of Iron Man and you can pick up toys of the comic book hero. Lastly it has a couple of stats of his powers.

Batman Year One Ra's Al Ghul

I haven't read DC comics for God knows how long but after having a resurgent interest in comics I picked this up. It's title "Batman Ra's Al Ghul" from about 2006. I know a bit about Ra he came out in the comics obviously and he appeared in the Batman cartoon and movie Batman Begins to name a few. It's a great comic with great artwork worth checking out.

Astonishing X-MEN Torn

This was an X-MEN graphic novel written by Josh Whedon. I didn't quite like this one as the other novels because this one was more geared to drama rather than action. Still if you get a chance to read, it's still a great read and pictures are great.

Ironman and Hulk Special Edition

Well I picked this up at my school's book sale. Man these are fun a chance to pick up something good with part of the money going to the school. I bought this Hulk, Ironman, Avengers, Spider-Man comic which also includes a special poster. It wasn't that much and it was a great bargain. The book lists as the sources MARVEL AGE HULK #4, MARVEL ADVENTURES THE AVENGERS #2, MARVEL ADVENTURES IRONMAN 1-2. Well no matter what the source this would make a great gift for yourself or for anybody into anything from Marvel.

I'll be happy to add more links upon request. As you can see this is quality stuff.
