2006 NFL Season Breakdown

I haven't made a blog in a good long while, so I decided, hey, why not make another one...

This time I'm not  gonna b**** about everything that's wrong with the world today. I'd had neverending blogs...

Instead, I'm gonna talk about my favorite sport and the sport I play...FOOTBALL!!! I'm gonna break down every divison in the NFL and give you my take and predictions of the upcoming season. Feel free to feedback if ya want a FOOTBALL!!! debate :

NFC West: Obviously, the Seahawks are still the only good team in this division. If they don't suffer from the Superbowl Hangover that losing SB teams suffer, look for them again in the NFC Championship, if not in the SB again. Even with E. James and a new stadium and enthusiam, Arizona still has a long way to go before winning anything, and it all starts with their O-line, the worst in the league. Vernon Davis should help the 49ers out alot. If not, say goodbye to your NFL career Alex Smith. You'll just be the next Tim Couch. As for the St. Louis....I HATE THE RAMS!!!!! ARGH!!!!! DEAD LAST DEAD LAST DEAD LAST!!!!!!!!!

NFC South: On paper, this looks like a very competive division. And with the major upgrades the teams made, it should look that way. BUT...I don't see the Bucs winning the division again. My hometown Falcons should be back in 2004 form, the Saints are gonna be the suprise team this year (hopefully), and, of course, Carolina is taking home the crown and will be in Miami in February. With a dominat defense and a well-balanced offense that got better with K. Johnson, who else in the NFC is gonna stop them?

NFC North: This division did get stronger over the offseason, but to me its still pretty weak. The Bears and Vikings will be battling it out for a divison crown, while the Lions and Packers continue to rebuild, especially the Packers. How is Rodgers gonna be ready if you never play him?!?!

NFC East: Just like every year, it's anyones game. I'm torn between the Cowboys and the Redskins. The Skins will have a more improved offense, something they needed in the playoffs, and the defense is still pretty solid, even without Arrington. Then again, Eli just might finally shake his bad habits and lead the Giants to a better record. THEN AGAIN, the Eagles might prove that they don;t need T.O. to win, so...who knows.  Like I said, this is a toss-up.

AFC East: Again, the Pats have been depleted of many of their stars, including Willie McGinist (sp?), David Givens (a solid #2 to D. Branch), and the legendary Adam Vinetarri. I mean, come on. Without Adam, the Pats wouldn't have won a thing, even with Brady. If Dante Culpepper forgets last year and play like he did before, Miami should finally be able to take over the division. The Bills and Jets are non-existent in this division for a long time...

AFC North: Ravens = Division Champs. You know why? Steve McNair. Great quarterback + Ed Reed/Ray Lewis defense = SUPERBOWL 41!!! The Bengals will still be a winning team too. Pittsburgh...will not repeat. The division's too good now, and they don't have the motivation they had last year to get there with J.Bettis, he's the sole reason they won the SB. As for the Browns, HA! They'll just always suck. Not even all the Hall of Fame coaches and Pro Bowlers could help this bunch out...kinda sad really.

AFC South: Colts, you've had so many chances to get to the Superbowl. But ya blew it everytime. They'll never make it now. They'll still be winning, but not in the Superbowl The Jags will be an average team this year, and their tough schedule will prove it. My fav team, the Titans, will win as soon as they name Vince Young the starter, and...ha ha, the Texans will regret not taking Reggie Bush BIG time...ha ha

AFC West: It's a brawl between the Cheifs and the Broncos. It's all about who can carry their momentum from last season to this one that'll decide who gets the divison crown. Im gonna say the Cheifs only because their defense is getting a major upgrade with coach Herm Edwards and star cornerback Ty Law. The Chargers...*sigh*, they looked so promising lasr year...but I'm not seeing Phillip Rivers pulling a Tom Brady this year. The Raiders will still suck, too You could bring back John Madden and it still wouldn't help!

There ya go. My take on the 2006 NFL Season. Once again, feel free to comment and let me know if there are any other football fans on TV.com. Until next time...

PEACE!
