hello everyone I got back this morning after a long relaxing week. I got to see all of my family memebers and celebrate my mom, uncle, and cousin's birthdays. I got to see pineapple express and tropic thunder this week which completes my summer movie list, and I helped out my favorite movie of the summer (The Dark Knight), by seeing it again (I hope it beats Titanic, it just beat star wars 4). Pineapple Express was very funny, but in the end it was not as good as I thought it would be, while tropic thunder was far better and funnier then I thought it would be. I'll rewrite my list soon, but I may need to find a movie to replace that horrible new Indy movie. I am currently reading the road which is a fantastic story, very powerful and moving, and it has a good amount of action. I truly reccomend it, it is being made into a movie which will come out this fall, and it was written by Cormac Mccarthy who wrote No Country For Old Men, plus it won the pullitzer. Right now I want to get a couple new videogames, I am thinking Lego Indianna Jones along with Orange Box, which should last me a long time. Also as my title states I am very excited for Tarantino's new World War 2 movie Inglorious Bastards which is going to have Eli Roth Sam Levine Brad Pitt, B.J. Novak, and Mike Myers, unfortunatley the previous casting rumors of adam sandler simon pegg and david krumholtz are untrue, but I still think it will be good. Well I will talk to all of you later goodnight
apparently I have made 500 posts but never notice which is kind of strange. ANyway just letting everyone know I am still alive, I saw step brothers which had a few funny moments but for the most part sucked, shoot em up which I thought was a very clever and violent (in a good way) movie, and x-files I want to believe which I liked a lot and I am glad that Richard ROeper has named it as his 2nd best movie currently in theaters. Well I am going up to Maine on thursday, so I will haave more to talk abot then see ya
hey everyone stopping by to say hello and see how everyone is! I saw the dark knight on thursday at midnight (technically friday) it was great, although I do not feel like writing a review everyone else did that already and im sure a large portion of them summed it up equal to or better then i could of. I will say that it may be in my top ten favorite movies list, it definitly deserved the number one spot in my summer movie list, and it and heath ledger both deserve oscar nominations (i wont come right out and say the actual award due to the fact that In Bruges was kickass and deserves something plus there is a lot of year left.) Besides that i have been hanging out and i have just started watching every episode of freaks and geeks from beginning to end on youtube. This show was awesome when it first came out, but was prematurley canceled, and has a cult following to this day. It was created by judd apatow (40 year old virgin, knocked up, superbad, forgetting sarah marshal) and had jason segel (main character from forgetting sarah marshall) seth rogen (supporting role in 40 year old virgin and starring role in knocked up and pineapple express) James Franco (harry osborn from the spiderman movies and he will be in pineapple express) plus linda cardellini who is currently on ER and a few other good actors who currently don't have strong careers. Anyway it is a great show and if you have a short attention it is only 18 45 minute long episodes with one episode guest starring a very young shia labouff (I know that is not how you spell it) and jason schwartzman pops up in there somewhere too. I also found some funny viral videos created to promote the new muppet show dvd's here are the pages (if you"re a muppets fan you will like these:

well thats it i will see the new x-files movie this weekend along with step brothers and I should be in the mood to put up a review of both and maybe i will even see some other stuff on demand or online and review those. Plus I may write a post similar to LSS_Fanatic's (Junky's) a sort of top ten list of my favorite tv shows and maybe movies (I am a fan of top ten lists) until next time
Edit: I forgot to mention that roger ebert has resigned as the host of ebert and roeper, which is dissapointing because he and siskel really revolutionized movie reviewing on tv, and now neither of them will be on tv anymore
oh well at least the thumbs up and thumbs down feature will come back.
I am the proud owner of an xbox 360, so todays e3 announcments regarding the system have really excited me. First of all the dashboard is being completley revamped to make it easier to navigate and more user friendly. Also Microsoft is copying nintendo by having each person not only have a profile pic, but an avatar which they can make to look like themselves and us to participate in special live games like 1 vs 100. As well as this, if you are like me you and have netflix you know that you can watch certain movies on your comuter, or have them streamed to your tv if you own a special box. But now xbox has teamed up with netflix to have the movies streamed to your xbox! while im not 100% sure, I think the service is free if you are a netflix and xbox live member. Besides that there was new info on GOW2 including a cool looking video, some news that a ninth megaman that will look and feel like the very first megaman will be made available for download on xbox live, and a new lego batman trailer, although that didn't reveal anything new. Two things that excited me were the release of the full rockband 2 setlist (as well as the news that following its release 20 songs will be available to download for free) and the fact that there will be a sequel to scene it lights camera action. WHile this game isn't for everyone, it was one of my favorite games i purchased last year, and the new one will have six new puzzles, team battles, the ability to play on live, and the creation of an avatar (not sure if it is the same one for your dashboard) as well as every question being completley new and never been in another scene it before. Overall I am very pleased with all of these revelations, and I will definitley buy many of the newly announced games (fallout three, and fable two had stunning graphics.) The final thing that I thought was cool was a karaoke game called lips. While Im not too into singing games this looks very interesting because you can hook your mp3 player up to the xbox and sing any song on your mp3 player. Anyway there are definitley some cool things out there that I will be interested in getting this fall, but first I need to catch up with all the games I missed out on last year. Have a great week everyone.
well i am back for the time being, mostly because i'm bored but at least im here right? This tends to happen to me with most sights like this where i get bored for awhile and then have a resurgance of activity. Anyway I have just been lounging about in Maine (one of the other reasons I took a break.) I have mostly been watching movies old and new. rewatched american beauty which was just as good as i remembered, and had a very brief cameo of John Cho buying a house (John CHo was Harold in Harold and Kumar 1 and 2.) Also rewatched Blue velvet which is an effectivley creepy masterpiece by David Lynch, and is probably my favorite of his movies seeing as it is one of the more easier to decipher ones. I showed American Psycho to two of my friends, one understood the super dark humor and was actually laughing along with me while the other seemed to be slightly disgusted which I suppose is understandable. I also watched the Laramie project which was fairly depressing and well acted, A beautiful mind which could be summed up the same way, and SUpersize me which I saw for the fifth time now and it still managed to hold my attention. Finally I rented Be Kind Rewind ondemand and was pleasntly surprised mostly because i didn't feel that it was as artsy or pretentious as the directors other movies (He directed Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind and the Science of Sleep which i both thought were alright.) In theaters I have seen pretty much all major releases, I thought Get Smart and the Love Guru were pretty horrible (Although the love guru was far worse) and Wall-E, Kung Fu Panda, the Happening, Wanted, Hellboy 2, and Hancock were good. Besides that I have been playing rock band (I got my new guitar and three new songs) and Lego Star wars 2 which I want to reach 100% completion on. I am also reading Boomsday which is a very enjoyable satire written by the guy who wrote thank you for smoking which was also good. I also am reading Slaughterhouse 5 but not as much. No Tv on right now (big reason why I haven't been on here) I lost track of Last Comic Standing, so Tv is out of my entertainment schedule currently. And of Course the Dark Knight comes out friday I sadly did not have an Imax theater near by that was showing it on tuesday (the last part of the viral marketing campaign involve tickets for 2 being handed out for an imax showing on tuesday) so i will wait for friday at 12:01 am and I will where my new Joker shirt and my Citizens For Batman pin which I won in the viral. Well I hope everyone has a good week. Hopefully I will talk to all of you soon.
