Passed Level 85 on Sunday. Took a while thanks to not submitting for over a week during the most recent site breakdown. Still missing around 9% from before that though.

After a strange glitch which meant I became editor and was then immediately retired, which nilla_chelle01 very kindy sorted out, I am now the editor for Countdown. It's easily my largest guide with 60 seasons and 5000 episodes. That should be fun!

Working on the three new guides has thrown me through the Level 83 barrier today. The level is called "Book 'em, Danno"... from a show I've actually heard of but never seen. Also hit 53000 subs today.

Seems I'm on a roll this week. Became the editor of two newly added shows today; Galaxy Express 999 and Pretty Cure. Both are Japanese anime shows... that I imagine only a few people here have heard of. I now currently edit 39 show guides... which means I need something else to make it a round number. I guess I'll have to make do with a round 2200 unread PM messages instead for now.

It's been a while, but I became the editor for Deal Or No Deal (UK) today. The guide needs a fair bit of work, but I'm a fan of the show, so that always makes it easier to sort through. I am concerned that things seem to run so slowly here these days, and I don't just mean page load times. I mentioned the issue on the forums, as anyone who visits the Editor's Lounge will be able to see. Seems you have to moan to get staff to do what they say now. Thank you to whichever staff member it was that did it!

Reached 50,000 subs today... or last night even. Now a "Contributor God". Nice. Been a while since I posted a blog. Anyway, finished watcing Kamen Rider Ryuki (Season 12) the other day. I did't realize how much I'd actually enjoyed it until it was done, even though it was pretty grim; even Ryuki himself died before the end, as did a lot of others. Still slowly working on brining certain other guides up to speed with episode summaries and such as I watch the occasional episode. It's going to take a while though.

Now Level 81 (78%). Still no sign of getting back what I lost in the last site mess up, even though I was assured it was being looked into.

Reached Level 81 today, or yesterday or whenever it was. Should have been a lot sooner thanks to TV.com going to pot for a while. I reckon I lot about 16% in all that. Guess I and everyone else can kiss goodbye to that, despite what the staff say. Needless to say, I'm not best pleased.

This level is called "You Can't Do That on Television". I know it used to be a TV show, but it does really seem to apply anymore. Everything seems to be fair game on TV these days.

I've been watching a fair bit of Harry Hill's TV Burp lately. That guy is brilliant. Sarcastic taking-the-mick humour is what I like!

I'd write more, but this wireless keyboard is really annoying me. If it isn't missing when I push a key it's randomly switching to capitals. Time to go back to good ol' wired technology I think.

Now a 'Quantum Leaper', having reached Level 80 today. 'Oh boy!" as Dr. Beckett would say... the Quantum Leap one, not the Stargate one! Time for the obligatory blog post padding... Clearly nothing much as happened with the site since the 'redesign', which is hardly surprising. It really beggers belief just how little the users and their opinions mean to certain high-ups around here some times.

Caught the second episode of Tomica Hero Rescue Fire this morning. The series is really shaping up, but I don't think it'll be as good as Rescue Force. Also saw the new Doctor Who Easter special and the new series of Red Dwarf. Both were so-so, nothing spectacular like I've seen in both series before, but enjoyable nontheless. Can't say I've watched that much else or at least, nothing worth writing about.

Ocean58's new Top100 list puts me in 8th now. Thanks Ocean! Now Level 80 (2%).

Hit 45,000 submissions today, thanks to all crew listings I've been adding to a couple of guides over the past few weeks. Still not finished with that though.

Like most people here, I hate the new TV.com design. Forgetting for a moment that the last redesign wasn't all that long ago, I just don't see the need or the reasoning behind splitting each episode page into Recap/Cast/Triva sections on different pages. That just makes it harder to find information and get to a point where you can add some. It actually makes the super-bright redesign we got last time look good! What was so bad about being able to see everything about an episode at a glance on one page? Are the developers here intentionally trying to make things as difficult as possible for the users they have left or just annoy them in general? I'd love to know what this pointless and stupid redesign is supposed to accomplish.

On better news, Tomica Hero Rescue Force Season 2, Tomica Hero Rescue Fire starts on Saturday. It's kind of a spin-off/sequel to Season 1 but if it's only half as good as that was, it should be another very enjoyable year.

Reached Level 79 today. Just one away from the big '80'. Now a "Make It So", a reference I get and like, it being from the greatest Star Trek captain ever. Again, one day too late for the Top100 List, but it wouldn't make much difference this time anyway.

I finally got my head around the all-Japanese Toei website and have started adding crew to the Kamen Rider guide. I didn't truely realize until now just how much of a pain in the backside that cast/crew form is. It takes several clicks to get to, you have to press import after every name and scroll back up after every name. If that wasn't bad enough, you have to go through the Submission Status screen every time you sumbit! Kinda makes me wish I didn't have two guides with 1500+ episodes each to add credits to...

Kamen Rider Decade is shaping up to be a great series, enough if it is only three episodes in and I haven't seen most of the other series that it'll be referencing yet. The 33rd Sentai, Samurai Sentai Shinkenger starts tomorrow night. It looks a bit kiddie so far,but hopefully it'll be reasonable as well.

Thanks to the now repaired level system, I reached Level 77 today. It's called "Baywatcher" - finally a level that references a show I've heard of! I can't remember when the last one was.

Anyway, I think it's about time I posted about more than the levels. So, theres lots of new TV stuff happening in the next few weeks that I'm looking forward to; Super Sentai starts Season 33, Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, Kamen Rider starts Season 19, Decade, it being the 10th series since the the show's revival, and Skins Season 3 starts, the first time this show has been airing since I took over the guide. Also can't wait for the last episode of Stargate Atlantis this week and a bit later, the final episodes of Battlestar Galactica. Thankfully, I've nearly finished watching and writing summaries for the Madan Senki RyuKenDo guide. It's a surprisingly good series once it gets going, but it's one thing I can be done with ready for all the new stuff.
