along with bands like Metallica, muse, chilli peppers,and the foo fighters, I Mother Earth is for sure in my top favorite bands from dig to the quicksilver meat dream, these Canadians truly rock...HARD, download a few random songs, from them and if you dont like any of them you are seriously not a rocker, i would type a bigger reveiw of these guys but i cant they are just so good that no amount of words can explain how good these guys really are, just listen to some songs, you will fall in love with them. if any of the guys from i mother earth ever read this....THANK YOU FOR MAKING MUSIC!!!

outstanding, simply outstanding, muse's "absolution" album, is the one of the best albums i have heard in a very very long time , it hasnt left my cd player since i bought it. the album has a huge variety of sounds, its LOADED with way cool guitar effects. most of the time, when bands use effects they pile way to much on and it kills the song, these guys no way. they used their effects to perfection, from the killer effects the overdrive bass,EXCELLENT drumming, piano, the Orchestra to the skillfull singing. this cd has it all, heavy songs with killer riffs that make you wanna kill somebody to beautiful calming songs that make you wanna go to sleep. this is the only albums of muses i have but i cant wait to hear the other 2 albums..BUY IT!

iam tired of hearing people saying that metallica are sellouts it is not right at all i asked people why they think they are sellouts and i get stupid awsners like "because they arent who they are suppose to be" and "they sued napster" first of all iam 100 percent sure none of the people that i have talked to about this or people who wrote reveiws about them, do not know them personally so who is anyone to say who they are suppose to be or how their music is suppose to sound like? they are stupid judgemental fags thats who, and with napster, its their music they wrote it and they have the right to control how people get it. u want to know who is a real sell out? ozzy. once metallica gets their own mtv show or somehting fagish like that, then feel free to call them sellouts all u want, i will even join you then. metallica has gone through tones, loads of crap that most bands wouldnt be able to deal with they are one of the oldest bands out there and still going strong with their touring and trust me, if you saw them live like i did march 26th 2004 and had no idea who metallica was u would think those guys up there were 25. now back to that sellout crap. st. anger "garbage", "sounds nothing like metallica", "thats not metallica" and "no talent" are what i have heard people say about the St anger album, people who say that truly are not very smart. when St. anger was about to come out i heard that it was going to go back to the "ride the lightning" and "kill em' all" days and it has all of metallica's early albums and St. anger are pure speed/thrash metal, if you play guitar like i do and play something like fight fire with fire and then something from the new album u will see they have the same speed and format, they even have the heartfelt, raw emotion lyrics. the difference from st anger and the early albums are (and this really bummed me out as well as the rest of you) no solos. see in the new cd when metallica would play a heartthumping solo the just sung the verse again...and again, and thats where i can see people not liking the new album, to repetitive. i agree i cant listen to st anger over and over and over and over and over again like the rest of em, this one i need a brake from once inwhile, yes st anger is a substandard metallica record but it does not make them sellouts. if you dont like metallica thats your opinion, but you should always respect them for what they have accomplished, if they have earned names like "best metalband ever", "gods of metal", "true musicians" and my personal favorite " the beatles of heavy metallica" u know they have to be doing something and they have, if you dont like OR respect metallica,one or the other, you arent a real fan of heavy metal music and shouild go listen to eminem, nelly or that guy who got shot as bunch of times and lived. true musical heros
