Happy New Years!
Hello Everyone!
I know after being away from here for so long I should be posting an extremely long blog, but I don't really have the creativity today to make it worth your while. So for now, I'll say Happy New Years and a belated Happy Holidays! I should (hopefully) have a real blog up within the next few days, but life is starting to get busy again. ![]()
Happy New Years!!
Here's wishing you all a wonderful and prosperous new year
Thank You All
As many of you know, my step-father, who is so much more of a father to me than my biological one is, has been battling pancreatic cancer that metastasised to his liver. Last night, at 11:24 P.M., he gave up the battle. Thank you all so much for your support. My family and I truly appreciate it.
RIP Dennis L. Cagle, 1951-2007. We will always love you.
So Sorry!!
Hello Everyone!
I'm so sorry I haven't been on lately. School's been keeping me really busy! I have classes going until 5 o'clock P.M. at least one day a week, then I have homework. I'm hoping to get a real blog up sometime this weekend, and catch up on all of your lovely blogs. Anyways, I'm off. Talk to you soon!

Sorry! Hope I didn't overload you all with pictures.
On a completely different note, I got my schedule for my first semester of my sophomore year. I found out that I'm taking 13 courses!
Monday-Thursday I'm taking Global Studies, Chemistry, English 2, Geometry (just shoot me now
), Reading Enrichment, Elementary Spanish, Intro to Biotechnology, and Introduction to Art. On Fridays I'm taking Writing Workshop, Biotechnology Lab, Student ScienceResearch, and a prep course for taking major tests. It sounds really awesome! I can't wait to start!
All of my Friday courses, art, and Biotechnology courses are at the college level, so I'll also be able to earn college credits.
Hope I didn't bore you all with the details of my schedule! Have a greatrest of the week ![]()
P.S. Congratulations to Libby on her pregnancy!
Oy! What a Week!
Hello All!
This is just a random blog that I thought I'd post. Anyways, I'm very sorry I haven't been blogging lately, it's been a crazy last couple of weeks. My parent's have been at a conference for the past seven days, and my Grandma was been staying with me, which has made things a little difficult. Now don't get me wrong, I love my Grandma, but sometimes, it's just a little overwhelming. I tend to enjoy just being alone or witha wide variety of people, or withclose family/friends, and just going with whatever comes up. Unfortunately, my Grandma and I clash a bit with our ideal schedules. She tends to like things very planned out, and enjoys being busy and with multiple people. Needless to say, it was a little bit difficult trying to find a schedule that would work for both of us. In addition to that, I went to my parent's conference for two days in order to be in a presentation. Every year, the company that my parent's work for holds a national conference in different locations throughout the US in order to share ideas and learn different teaching styles. They usually do this through presentations. This year, my parent's region in the company, chose to do a skit in order to present their information. So we did a parody of American Idol, complete with songs that have been re-written to share information, judges, and commercial breaks. I was part of one commercial break. There were 500+ people at the convention, and all of them were at that presentation. Now, just to let you know, I am absolutely terrified of public speaking, so when I saw all of the people, I actually forgot my one line.
Thankfully, I remembered it in time, so it definitely wasn't as bad as it could have been. After that, the rest of the week was fairly peaceful. My parents are now finally home and plan on resting as much as possible, although that may be difficult.
Now that the conference is over, we have another week of excitement planned for us. My step-brother, his wife, and my two nieces are coming in today for one week. Even though it won't be a relaxing week, it will be great to see them. They live on almost the complete opposite side of the country, so we don't get to see them that much. I'll post pictures of everyone maybe next week, or whenever.
Hope this blog wasn't to pessimistic or annoying.
Talk to you all soon!
Meggie xo
