I just saw The DaVinci Code last night.  Some of the most impressive directing I've seen in awhile (Ron Howard directs, so that explains it), but a lot of details are changed from the book, so that was a bit bothersome.  To be honest, if you didn't read the book, I think it would be really hard to follow the movie on anything more than a superficial level.  But I suppose it's really hard to cram an entire book into a two hour movie.  We learned that the hard way with the first three Harry Potter movies.
