The end could be near

Looks like tv.com is turning the screws on your pal mp34mp. I've recently received more TOS violations and another suspension with the threat of a possible (but most likely banning) to prevent me from using the site. I have to say I've been modded more times in the past few months than the other 3 years combined, including some stuff that was wrongly reported by a user (saying I was a 'troll' in a Hell's Kitchen forum which I am a big fan of the show) and other things as old as 2 years old now being reported completely out of context. Including stuff labled off-topic that got reported being off-topic, or SNL references reported as off-topic.

I have to say, this place has become a lot less enjoyable the past few months, and having almost 5,300 posts it seems to really not matter. I've seen lots of things modded but other likewise stuff completely ignored, and I've noticed a double standard in reporting, things that I found offensive & violated TOS & reported, were actually approved as alright.

I guess tv.com doesn't want people talking about bands or celebrities when it comes to shows like SNL, which is the very thing that the show is about. it's not like I was starting flame wars or dropping F-bomb after F-bomb. I guess it doesn't matter, and still, all of my emails & PMs to the site have been ignored by the Mods. I ask and I get nothing. I just don't understand it.

I have never had any experience with multiple TOS violations or problems with trolls, but your's is the latest of many of my editor and frequent user horror stories I have heard.

Sorry to hear that.

That's maddening. This site seems to be forcing a lot of good people out, and from all I've heard, once you're on their radar, yep, that's it. (Surprised I'm not gone). Really hope you're able to stay...don't leave us!!

Mark, someone doesn't like you. If you were getting TOS warnings by the site mod, then I'd be getting TOS warnings, BaronOne would be getting TOS warnings, Water would be getting TOS warnings. I think someone is reporting you for stupid stuff on the site.

Sorry to hear all of that. You're one of the friends I've had the longest. I'd hate to lose you.

I'd be getting warnings, too, most likely.

As of this writing I have seven TOS warnings, which is 13 shy of a suspension. Of those seven, I take full accountability for two of them; the other five were the result of quoting a post that I didn't realize violated the terms of service. You have every right to be angry at the site and I don't think your suspension was justified.

I have 2 violations. One which I was wrong for: Going to a Disney show forum and saying the show sucks. the other was quoting.
