Back at it!
Ever since Grand Theft Auto came out I dropped my Game plan with the local Video rental store and have been playing just my bought games. Grand Theft Auto 4 was great and kept me busy for a month or so and then I got on a Oblivion kick and finished out most everything else except for the last part of the Brotherhood quests. I'll get back to them soon enough. But last week I picked my Game plan back up and my first rental was Ninja Gaiden 2. I'm not to excited about it since it is just a brutal game and dying repeatedly on the easy setting isn't much fun. Dropped that game back off after about 3 days and picked up Bad Company. I thought the single player was decent but I reeeeaaaaly loved the online mp. I think I will be playing that for a bit.
New favorite game Grifball

Yeah it might be just mindless bashing but I like the Grifball weekends! Double exp why not? Don't know if this is Bungie's attempt to catch up with Call of Duty 4 but I like it!
Playswitch reminds me that I hate them.
Okay I cancelled my account, the game I wanted was not going to come per the trader and my credit card has been refunded. So why am I getting this? Stupid...

Why I hate Playswitch
If you don't know a new trading site called Playswitch.com started up offering to help you get rid of thos old dusty games for new dusty games to play with. I thought it was a interesting idea and every game podcast I listen to seem to say this is a great site and went on and on about fantastic trades they did. So I signed up, added my game trade fodder and bought a few playswitch bucks to do some trades, But there is some things that you need to know about this service before trying it.
1. It is slow the back and forth takes forever to make a trade. They really don't want you to have contact with each other.
2. The color scheme is odd, the customer service person told me it was put in place to make you think about what you were doing. I'm sorry but pressing a down button for adding dollars to your trade and hitting a red button to accept something and a green button to decline something felt wrong.
3. Playswitch dollars which is the currency of the website can only be purchased in 5 dollar increments. Reminds me of Microsoft and their point. Just so happens my first trade was for a $16 dollar game so you can imagine I now had $4 wasted dollars unless another trade came up and I might even have to buy more dollars.
4. Their pricing for games is just off and aren't even close to what you see on ebay or amazon, they auto send requests for these odd amounts and I bet most people just decline them.
5. There is too many traders to actual trade stock. A lot of popular games have like 1 or 2 games to 50 traders, your gonna sit there awhile with nothing...
6. The average trade stock people are offering up is pathetic. Come on, PS2 games & Gamecube games for Xbox 360 games...
I ended up lasting a couple of weeks on the service and the last straw was when my first and only trade they guy sent me a note wanting to cancel the trade. Only thing they said was "we cant force people to make the trade". Well what is the point of a trade site if you can't do something to enforce it, if ebay were to ever tell me well we can't force sellers to send you the product I don't think they would last very long. I bought the switchbucks, did the trade and was waiting a week for this note to come to me, what crap! I asked for a refund of all money and if I see those charges on my credit card I will dispute them.
