Well, like many Revco fans I was surprised to see a new cd out after all these years. Maybe after all the waiting my expectations were a little to high. The new CD is good, but could have been much better. It seems like many of the songs were Ministry rejects, not that I mind a heavier Revco CD, it just bleeds the line between the two groups a little. The other half of the CD is full of guest appearences, which seemed to be forced into the mix. I've always respected Iggy Pop, but the cd would have been much better if "Fire Engine" had not been included. Hopefully this isn't the last time we hear from Revco, and the next effort is a little more focused

I remember moving to Boston in 1994 and within weeks of arriving locals were telling me I had to see PM5K live. I was immediately hooked and felt the band was inspiring and creative with an interesting blend of styles and a great songs. Each song on Mega!! had so much going on it took a couple listens just to digest everything, Spyder's lyrics had a great flow to them, and it's a shame that he abdoned this style for the generic rock sound that is now PM5K.

I've been listening to Slayer for over 15 years now and this CD is by far the most .... generic, I've heard them sound. For a cd 5 years in the making, with the return of Lombardo, I guess I was expecting more. The cd feels rushed, the songs are heavy and promising but most seem to miss the mark slightly, and there's few extremely memorable moments. Of course I'm being a little overly harsh here, it's Slayer, it's good, I'll listen it to many more times, it's just one of their lower ranking CD's on my list.
