Have fun.
I guess Ryan also.
"After having received a news tip, GameDaily BIZ has confirmed with GameSpot Editor-in-Chief Ricardo Torres that Ryan Davis is the latest staffer to quit the website following the controversy that boiled over when Jeff Gerstmann was unceremoniously canned. Davis follows Frank Provo and Alex Navarro who both left within the last month as well. While Navarro did not speak up, Provo directly blamed CNet management for Jeff Gerstmann's firing and for creating the "ultimate soul-crushing work environment."
It's unclear at the moment if Jeff Gerstmann had anything to do with Davis' decision, but judging by his last blog post in December the Gerstmann situation certainly appears to have hit Davis hard:
"It's been almost 8 years since I started working at GameSpot, and Jeff was there for nearly all of my fondest and most memorable experiences on the job. ... Simply put, I would not be in the video game business at all were it not for Jeff Gerstmann, and I am loathe to imagine what I might be doing with my life right now without the focus I've earned from having this ridiculous job. ... But now, Jeff's gone, and I'm not afraid to say that it absolutely breaks my heart. I felt the departure of Rich Gallup from the site earlier this year in my bones, but this goes deeper. Jeff was a rare constant, and this marks the end of an era for both GameSpot and myself, a fact that doesn't seem to be getting any less upsetting for me."
We're expecting to hear more about this from Torres shortly. He recently shared with us his thoughts about regaining readers' trust."
Not Ryan also this is another sad day for Gamespot, now I just hope everything goes better soon.
I've reached the big 30 and other things you might not care about.
While I'm not 30, I certainly made it to level 30

A Couple Things AVP:R Did Wrong
Hello all once again today I just finished watching Alien V.S Predator 2 today, although I didn't have high expectations for the film I just want to point out what was so bad about it. It's better than the first for sure but thats not saying much...
Bad Acting
This movie must have had a terrible director, the acting was horrible I didn't see much form the actors but swearing
Some parts through the movie it seems like they were just reading off a paper
Am I watching this in a cave?
Seriously that film was pretty dark not emotional dark I mean dark, dark. Some of the best fight scenes was barely noticeable because you wouldn't know who was fighting who or what was doing what.
Cut Off Gore
This movie was 14A here in Canada, I think it was R in the U.S I'm not sure if we got a lot of parts cut off but I'm assuming no. Even though I had low expectation, I was hoping for some Chest Bursting, Head Popping goodness, most scenes were cut off and all you would see is blood on glass or something similar to that.
A "WTF" Ending
Anyway it was a decent movie over all but I wouldn't recommend it if your paying 10$.
So when is Predator 3 coming out ![]()
Things I learned this pass week.

- Waiting in line 45 minutes to get into a store with high expectation of finding something you need is rare
- I have a again mistaken a male JRPG character as a female
- The new Alien V.S Predator movie is bad by ratings but I will still see it just like 86% of Canada
- Sneeny Tood is probably an awesome movie, and I will see it just like 2% of Canada>_>

Back Form Detroit and Other Things.
Anyway my and my family, also my cousins went down to Detroit today since we live a little over a hour away. The line form the bridge that connects the town of Windsor and Detroit was extremely long and boring but we finally got there. Anyway we went to Great Lake Crossing Mall it was wonderful. I had Taco Bell which I hadn't had for almost 2 years, I got a couple of tops for winter also I went to play Ratchet and Clank Demo at Gamestop. Funny thing I notice now is that I went there expecting the games to be cheap but they ended up being to same price. I guess Canada or well where I live finally got there prices down for game...
Anyway it was a blast i'll go some other time if I can.

Boy hires Hitman to kill his mother
Like many middle-**** suburban American parents, Shannan and Joey Troiano worried about their son's behaviour and his bad grades at high school. And like many wayward teenagers, Cory Ryder was grounded for weeks at a time, had a PlayStation confiscated and was banned from watching TV.
Less typically, this 16-year-old was plotting to murder his parents by hiring a hitman, while his mother was organising a sting operation involving a police officer posing as a contract killer.
Cory's trial is scheduled to begin today at the circuit court in St Mary's County, Maryland. His mother is expected to testify as a witness for the prosecution.
At an earlier court hearing Mrs Troiano, 35, explained how her emotions were torn between being an agonised mother and a murder victim. "I miss him being at home," she said, "and I miss us joking around and kidding around. And then in the very same breath - I don't know what this kid will do, because it's not my son. That can't be my little boy sitting there."
Mrs Troiano remembers the night on June 2 when she discovered that the vague threats her son had made were serious. A woman Cory trusted, the mother of one of his friends, took him to a hotel room where he met an undercover police officer pretending to be a hitman.
At home in southern Maryland, Mrs Troiano told her husband that Cory would never go through with it and began frantically tidying the house, according to an account in The Washington Post yesterday.
After a few hours' waiting, the policeman called: Cory was in custody and would be charged with attempted murder. Mrs Troiano fell to her knees in the bathroom she was cleaning and burst into tears.
Police say that Cory offered the undercover officer his stepfather's new pickup truck as payment for killing his parents. "Two bullets is all it takes," he is alleged to have said.
His mother, a financial manager at Patuxent River naval station, and stepfather, a computer specialist, had lived an ordinary life with Cory and his two stepsisters. Mrs Troiano had left his father when Cory was little more than a year old but, by the time she remarried, her son's behaviour was getting steadily worse.
He walked out of lessons at Spring Ridge Middle School in Lexington Park, smashed a fire extinguisher case and then broke into the county fairgrounds, where he vandalised property. A judge sentenced him to supervised probation and his parents attended no less than 36 meetings with the authorities about him.
But Cory dropped out of school and then, after stealing $45 (£22) from his sister's piggy bank, had a fight with his mother, which led to him being kicked out of home. He has since told officials that he was upset about being thrown out of the house and that he felt pressured to talk to the man in the hotel.
Cory insists that he never intended to have his parents killed and that he wanted to call the police that night in the hotel room. A judge has ruled that he should be tried in the juvenile system, which means that he cannot be held beyond his 21st birthday.
He has also been writing to his mother, saying: "You know I love you with all my heart mom!" Mrs Troiano fears that he is being manipulative. She wanted him tried in an adult court where he would have faced a much longer sentence. "He needs to understand what he did was wrong," she told the court in September. "I'm scared to death that if this kid is serious, and they put him in a three-month programme, they're going to release him to the street."
Sounds like this kid has problems
