Pearl Jam's self title masterpiece is their return to rock icon status. For the fans from the beginning, a very pleasant "TEN"-like surprise. For the bandwagon, radio friendly fans, 3 to 5 worthwhile tracks. I myself have been a fan since the Off-Ramp on October 22, 1990. To me, they are the best rock band of my generation (born in '77). This album ranks 3rd behind #2 "Yield" and #1 "Binaural". Before you start yelling, "TEN" cannot be on a list since it is arguably the best album released since the late 70s. It is simply perfection therefore it is off the list. The "Pearl Jam" tour was as amazing as any. "Life Wasted", "Unemployable" and "Inside Job" are the best tracks on this album. Finally, we will never get another "Alive" or "Porch" again but 'Pearl Jam" delivers some new classics that all fans will enjoy.
