yeah shame bout PS2. best online games probably are LittleBIGplanet (play and MAKE your own levels, publish them online. up to 4 player multiplayer on every level, fantastic game), the multiplatform Burnout Paradise is great online, I regularly play online with a group of people and its really friendly and fun, and if you love FPS games Killzone 2 is fantastic.

Call of Duty 4/WaW probably have the most people playing online, but personally they get boring because I generally don't like First Person games. Then there is always Killzone 2 and Metal Gear Online
