Reviews Much?!

I know it's been a while since I last blogged on here, but this site really isn't what it used to be! I finished 1st year college last month. It was definitely a big year for me. Made new friends, but lost some old ones. But I guess that always happens...

End of Season Reviews
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Season 2
T:TSCC Season 2
Season 2, though not as consistent as the first, was still pretty great! It had some VERY strong episodes and some weak ones of course. The season started off very strong, the first 7 or 8 episodes showed a lot of promise. Unfortunately things started slipping a little mid season. These weak episodes were still a lot better than some of the best episodes produced by some shows this year though! Thankfully the show redeemed itself in the last 6 episodes, with some of the best television of the season. Cameron, as per usual, stole the show. She is most definitely the glue that holds this show together. The story of the three dots was a little confusing, and at times a little silly. However the addition of Weaver was one of the best things about the season. She was played to perfection by Shirley Manson, who maintained that creepily cold feeling through every single scene. I'm devastated that the show was cancelled, but I can't say I didn't see it coming.
Best Character: Cameron
Best Episode: Born to Run. Easily the best season finale this year. Best episode of the entire series. That creepy bedroom scene between John ad Cameron was...so....weird! The ending showed what a great third season the show could have had too.

Smallville Season 8
Smallville Season 8
Smallville season 8 was a good improvement over the previous disastrous season, though not the best yet. I loved the whole new feel to the show, and watching Allison Mack take on lead female was a delight. Davis and Tess were great additions to the cast, and the writers dealt with the departure of Lana and Lex surprisingly well. Not being an Oliver fan, I was really annoyed by his constant presence this season. The first half of the season was consistent enough, though there were one or two doozies in there, like Toxic. I loved Bride and Legion which showed what great things the writers could come up with if they actually tried hard enough. The second half was a lot weaker than the first, but the Chloe 'Beauty and the Beast' story was an entertaining twist. The season finale was a bit of a letdown and lacked the power that Smallville finales usually have. That being said the season did see an increase in standard over season 7, though I have my doubts over their ability to carry it on into season 9.
Best Character: Chloe. Duh!
Best Episode: Tie between Bride and Legion

Desperate Housewives Season 5
Desperate Housewives Season 5
Wow. What a letdown. After an amazing fourth season, this show just became dull, repetitive and just plain annoying. Bree, once one of the greatest characters, became boring and b*tchy. Lynette's storylines just seemed to happen over and over again. Believe in your husband for God's sake! Susan's love triangle was completely ridiculous and dragged out. Despite that, seeing Gaby as a mother was hilarious, and I found myself enjoying her storylines a lot more this season. It was nice to have the old Gaby back by the second half of the season though. The Dave mystery was the most predictable one yet. Yet the writers had him featured in every episode, plaguing the show till the end of the season. Edie's death was a TERRIBLE loss to the show. I really hope to see a big improvement next year. Among those things, can the mystery be connected to Gaby or Lynette for once??
Best Character: Gaby
Best Episode: If it's only in your head. Solely due to the scene with Susan trying to protect MJ.

Thanks for reading! I've been checking up on a few other reviews posted by other users. Keep em' coming! Ttfn...( Get the Buffy Reference anyone?!)

3 Flowers in a Vase . . .

Joss has done it again. I can now say that I am totally enamoured with Dollhouse. This weeks' episode was without a doubt the strongest so far. Some people may not have been as impressed as I was. However, IMO it kicked some serious ass.

Dollhouse 1.06 - Man on the Street

Echo

Starting with the best part: Mellie. Joss had me nearly screaming that she was going to die, and then pulled this one off. I'm totally psyched to see what's going to happen there. Then Sierra's plot which was almost as good. Although I'm sad to say it was pretty obvious who was responsible from the start. Still, it didn't stop my enjoyment of it one bit. I'm really curious to see where this romance with Victor will go, or if it will even go anywhere at all. I love seeing Echo develop more and more, and seeing here become more aware of the changes around her and becoming concerned about her fellow dolls. Her line "Sierra cries" just made me love her. I really can't explain why though! Also Joss' with was there too. Eliza's "Porn!" pointing at the bed, made me lmfao! Then there's the mole. Who the hell is it?! I have a theory it's Topher's little helper, but I'm not completely convinced. . .

Joss is back! I tried not to get too attached, as the show may not live for much longer, but I couldn't help myself. I'm hooked!

In other TV news: Heroes bad, Smallville good! Well, kinda good. Well, more like above average! The dark storyline with Davis is the main reason to watch nowadays. The news of a character dieing has got me toally freaked out for Chloe. I'm really not sure if I'll keep watching if the writers are stupid enough to have her killed. Desperate Housewives continues to bore. It's really the worst its ever been. Lost is great. It feels weird to say that, but it's true Medium still proves to be a very consistent show. I love the new season. Gossip Girl came back this week and I realised how much I had missed it too

To close this blog, check out this lonely island video if you haven't seen it yet. I doubt many people haven't by now!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Did I Fall Asleep?

Why, hello there. Again, I'm back for a blog after a small absence, but just because I'm mute, doesn't mean I'm not around and reading blogs! Life is still crazy, but things are starting to settle a bit.

Right now, I'm being overloaded with a TV "must watch" list. I'm miles behind on Battlestar Galactica, and House. I'm just about up to date on Heroes and Terminator though. This week saw the return of one of the most entertaining TV shows out there right now, America's Next Top Model. Here's a rundown of the girls.

Allison - She has something special. Those eyes are spellbinding. She's definitely the Marjorie/Heather of the cycle! And I LMFAO when she went to the wrong spot at judging!

Aminat - Again, she has something special. Her height is both her strength and her weakness. I'm interested to see what she will pull out of the bag.

Celia - My favourite girl so far. I love everything about her. Here's hoping she'll go far!

Fo - She's gorgeous, and a great model. I can't wait to see a high fashion shot of her, just to see how she'll pull it off. She seems a like a great person two. She'll be my 2nd fave after Celia!

Jessica - She has an idea of what a model should do, and tries to imitate that. I'm not seeing a model yet.

Kortnie - The spelling of the name makes me roll my eyes, but she has a bit of potential. Let's see where it goes.

London - Definitely a strong contender. I'm liking her.

Natalie - Who? Nothing interesting at all.

Nijah - I see some potential, but I doubt she'll make it far. Then again, maybe she'll impress me next week.

Sandra - The b*tch diva of cycle 12. She'll be bringing a lot of drama during the cycle, so chances are she'll be here for a while.

Tahlia - Don't get me wrong, she's pretty, I just don't believe a designer will actually book her FOR her scars. She'll be lucky to find one that will go to the effort of bothering to hide them.

Teyona - She has a lot of potential to do well. I'll be keeping my eye on her.

Eliminated: Isabella - Not surprised. Her photo was one of the weakest, and I didn't see her getting far.

Dollhouse

Tahmoh, Joss, Eliza

I was sooo excited for Dollhouse to begin. However, like most others, I was a little let down. The first episode was a 7/10, the second 8/10 and the third (solely for the expansion of the overall mystery) 8.5/10. The main component missing IMO is the characters. The main thing I loved about Buffy, Firefly and Angel, was the characters. Dollhouse so far, doesn't have characters that make the show interesting, though for me I see Sierra emerging as a likeable character. I do think it's a little unfair to compare the show to the other 3, as they are completely different, but I'm not as happy with it as I thought I would be. But I know it will get better as it goes along. I just hope people give it the chance it deserves, because if the ending of the episode is anything to go by, it's gonna be amazing. I have complete faith in Joss Whedon. Let's hope Fox feel the same!

Other Shows

T:TSCC is weakening, but I still love it. I don't think it has a lot of time left though, so I hope it can go out with a bang. Grey's season 5 is pretty blah, though Melissa George was a nice breath of fresh air. Medium is still a consisten performer. It's an improvement over the drab closing to the fourth season. Ugly Betty is still lots of fun. Season 3 is a lot better than the previous season. Lost is getting confusing again. It's gonna need a bit more of an explanation to keep me motivated. Heroes: Fugitives is as weak as ever. Not surprising though, I wasn't expecting much.

Thats it for now. I'll be around to try to get onto me! I miss some of the people on here...TTFN!

Hope

Hey guys, so I guess its been a while. Again. Like I said in my last blog, my life is a lot different now. Im getting used to it though.

VM Movie News
VM Movie

As you've all probably seen by now, the movie is getting more and more likely. This is great news. I'm trying sooo hard not to get my hopes up, but it probably won't work! Though, Im still adament that a TV movie or mini series would be better. But hey, as long as its Veronica I'm game!

Smallville
Clana - Again

I was pleasantly suprised by season 8 of Smallville, as things started to turn around. The show got less ridiculous, and started tidying itself up. Plus, all that Chloe screentime is just the bestest thing eva! Unfortunatley after the brilliant 'Legion' things just spiralled out of control again. Power was one of the most ridiculous episodes I have seen of the show. Ever. I'm not goiing anywhere though. I've been rewatching the entire series, and loving it. The first four seasons were amazing.

I loved the 100th episode of Desperate Housewives! It was so sweet. Season 5 is still kinda boring though. Im still waiting for Terminator to return. I feel so lost without it! Ugly Betty season 3 is really great, and just as funny as ever! Battlestar Galactica is really great, but I much preferred 4x13 over 4x14. And also ANTM is back in less than a month! yay! And Medium is back this week! Yay-er! I hope that Season 5 is better than the weakness of the second half of season 4.

In other news, Diana Vickers got signed with RCA. Bring on the album!

Sorry about the shortness of this blog. I just wanted to let you all know, I'm not dead! Have a good weekend everybody.

Top 10 of 2008

Well 2008 is nearly over. So to commemorate, here is a list of my favourite shows of the year.

Top 10 Shows - 2008
10. Hollyoaks
Hollyoaks
Im not a big fan of the show, as I only just got into it a few months ago. It got extremely addictive. Niall's Revenge is what got me interested in the show in the first place. I love how light it is compared to a lot of other soaps. Carmel is Hilarious!

09. The X Factor
Diana
I'm putting this one on my list only because of one thing: Diana Vickers. I'm still angry at her elimination. Hallelujiah is her song,a nd does not belong to that other, ahem, girl. Its way too over performed. I hope to see a lot from Diana in the new year.

08. Rome
Rome
Another new discovery. It has superb acting, some of the darkest stories ever seen on TV, and a brilliant finale. Overall this series had it all. The second season was far superior to its first. I have to say though, I will never get over Irene's death *cries*!

07. Gilmore Girls
Gilmore Girls
This was definitley the year of Gilmore over in Ireland and the UK due to E4's decision to air it. I can see that a lot of channels are probably kicking themselves for missing it in the first place.

06. Bones
Bones Cast
I finally got a chance to see the tail end of season 3, and I was blown away. The show is still strong. I was a little disturbed by the finale, in a good way though. I will miss Zach

05. Gossip Girl
GG Cast
Gossip Girl is really starting to get the regegnition it deserves. Season 2 is still great. The end of season 1 still is leaps and bounds over it though.

04. House
House
What can I say. Season 4 was probably the best the show had. If not for someone ruining the end for me, it would have been even better! The first half was great fun, with him choosing a final team. One member just annoys me to death though. Amber was one of the best characters ever! The bets in the show without question.

03. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
BtVS
I got the chance to rewatch the entire series and I now have even more appreciation for it. It will never be forgotten. People still talk about it and its been over nearly 6 years!

02. Desperate Housewives
DH
This is nuber 2 not because of S5, but because of the 4th season, which was probably the best season yet. I hope 2009 will bring about better episodes and pull the show back up to this standard.

01. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
T:TSCC
The show of the year for me. I've loved every episode that I've seen so far. Summer Glau and Lena Heady OWN the show!

Happy New Year

4 Months Gone

Hey all, it's been a while I know. There are a few reasons why I haven't been blogging, or on here much at all.

The first is college. When I last blogged I was just about to start, and now the first term is over. It's been a crazy few months. It's a lot different to school, but I'm getting used to it now. I haven't made many friends in c lass but where I'm living I have made a few. Some a pretty crazy, so that suits me fine! I love the independence of living alone, and I feel like I have really grown up. I have also learned about my new best friend, vodka!

The second is this new design, which blows. It just isn't the same this way. I can't get used to using it. Though TV[DOT]com is still my religious TV bible. A lot of people have disappeared also, which doesn't surprise me at all. And those who didn't, are threatening too, or aren't happy. I seriously do not know what the CNET team were thinking!

And now a quick rundown of the TV season thus far.

Heroes
Heroes
Been even worse than the second season and I was so looking forward to a redeeming season. The majority of plots have been all over the place. I feel lost in a mess of formulas and evil, yet not so evil villains, and weird alternate realities. Just when I think things couldn't get any worse, they go and get rid of Kristen Bell, literally they're only redeeming quality, aside from the wonderful Daphne (who needs a far better plot than the one she has).

Desperate Housewives
DH
Season 5 has been a letdown. Though not abysmal, it just isn't as amazing as the first four seasons, and it lowered back down to season 2 standards. The Dave mystery isn't as intriguing as season 4's. I still love it though.

Ghost Whisperer
Mel & Jim
This show would be better of cancelled. The writers, after 3 years of greatness, have destroyed the show so fast, I almost didn't see it coming. I was proud that such a soft show could do something so hardcore by killing off a main character, and then they go and spit on what happened. In a show about moving on, this really doesn't sit well with me.

Smallville
Chloe & Jimmy
I am pleasantly surprised by this season. Though not half as good as season 4 or earlier, the show is heading in a good direction. I think it can leave TV land with some of its dignity intact. And the abundance of screen time given to Chloe this year really helps

Supernatural
Supernatural
I was never too keen on this show, but season 4 is its best. It has gone in a very brave direction and is one of the few shows that stick to its master plan. I hope it gets the fun it wants.

Gossip Girl
Blair
Season 2 had a slow start, but has been consistently entertaining throughout. I still miss Georgina though . The show is still as good as it was. I hope it can keep this up.

Ugly Betty
Betty
A huge step up on the previous season, helped by Linlo's appearance on the show. The episodes get better and better. I just wished that Amanda and Marc would get more to do.

America's Next Top Model
Cycle 11
Though cycle 11 was dullsville, the winner was the best they've had in ages.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
T:TSCC
Save the best for last. This is the only amazing show on TV right now. Every episode has been 100/10. My love for it grows and grows. I just hope it isn't given the Fox treatment and sent packing.

In DVD land, I have finally caught up with Bones season 3, thanks to a friend. Its as enjoyable as always. I also finished House season 4 (also thanks to the same friend!) which was the best season ever, regardless of what everyone else says. I should be getting a few new sets for xmas . . . Yayness!

So, I do hope this is read by a few of my old commenters. It would be nice to hear from you all again . And I'd also like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas!

Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder

Sorry about the absence over the past week or so. My internet did that thing where it wouldn't work! Its just about working now though! I've got a few blogs to catch up on, so bear with me.

Premieres
America's Next Top Model Cycle 11
TyraI really liked the premiere this year, there are some really great models, and of course some BORING ones. Firstly, Isis is amazing. She handled all the critisism, and mocking about being physically male very well. She even pulled off a stellar photo. I also love Sheena (so funny!), McKey, Marjorie and Joslyn. Nikeysha was also good aswell. Elina is soooo modelly it's not even funny. She'll go far. The others are mostly dull. Clark was a full on b*tch, as was Sharaun (Good riddance). Lauren, Hannah, Analeigh and Samantha faded into the distance. The wholle "Beam up fiercly thing" was ridiculous though! I think moving back to LA was a mistake though. I always like it in NY. Hopefully for cycle 12.

Gossip Girl Season 2
Overall, it was a good episode. But not as amazing as the promos made it out to be. I liked Blair and Chuck's banter in the episode. Its fun to watch. Jenny's outsmarting of her boss was c l a ssic. I'm not sure where the writers are planning on going this year. This episode didn't really tell me much. I am however worried that it will in fact suffer a sophmore slump.

I'm still waiting on a few more premieres, like Smallville & Ghost Whisperer.

TV General
The first part of the season 4 finale of Grey's Anatomy was good enough. Not as good as I thought it woud be though. Hopefully the final episode will be a good one. The channel it shows it on have postponed it for two weeks and have put Prison Break in its place. Bullsh*t! Dexter continues to amaze me! Every episode is better than the last. Can't wait to see how the season ends.

Buffy, WillowI've been rewatching Buffy like crazy, and loving it. I finally upgraded my VHS sets to dvd for seasons 3, 4 and 6 (already had 5), seasons 2 & 7 left and I finally have them all! Anyway, I realised how much I love the show. Season 3 is better that I remembered with some great episodes. Some I forgot about like 'Homecoming' and 'Earshot' were fantastic. Graduation Day was great as usual. Season 4 was just as fun as it usually was for me. I liked the lighter atmosphere early on in the season. The show did however have some of its best episodes this season like Hush, Restless, Primeval, and New Moon Rising.

I had my orientation day yesterday! University is a scary place. Very big! I have my first lecture on the 22nd. I'll be missing the Dexter finale , I'm sure I'll get over it though!

Sorry again for missing all of your blogs. I really do enjoy reading them! Have a great weekend.

Two's Company, Three's A Crowd

As promised, I have made a whole new list! Hope you like it!

10. Lorelai & Luke - Gilmore Girls
Lorelai and LukeOne of those couples that you knew would get together, but didn't know when. It was one of the highlights of the otherwise drab fourth season. Their moments together were the sweetest ever. It's funny that everyone else could see how well matched they were except Lorelai and Luke themselves. Best moment is their first kiss. Runners up are Lorlelai singing to Luke, and the proposal.

09. Syd & Vaughn - Alias
Syd & VaughnThe tension between the two during th first season is unbearable! And when they finally kissed it was such a relief. It pained me to watch them separated in the third season, and more when he "Died" in season 5. They made a great, cute couple. Their best moment was the kiss from Phase One hands down.

08. Zoe & Wash - Firefly
Wash & ZoeI love them so much. An odd couple at first, but you quickly grow to see how much they love each other, and how well suited they are too. With them calling each other 'Dear' evey five minutes, you just can't help but see how much they love each other. One of their best moments was when they first met. Who can forget that mustache!

07. Dexter & Rita - Dexter
Dex & RitaAlthough I'm a Lila fan (And I'm clearly in the minority with that!), I love Rita more. She and Dexter are perfect together. Dexter is clearly full of darkness, but so is Rita is a different way. I loved watching their relationship develop over the course of the first season. Their breakup in the season 2 was painful to watch. Their best moments together are any of those that they spend with Cody and Aster. So cute!

06. Starbuck & Lee - Battlestar Galactica
Lee & StarbuckThough not officially a couple, you know that it is inevitable. I wish they had gotten together again after their short lived night together in 'Unfinished Business'. They have had a few moments since then, but nothing major. I really want them to be together officially, so why do I have to wait this long?! I know people don't really like Lee that much, but you can't really deny that they make a hot couple! Best moment, as I've already said, their night together in 'Unfinished Business'.

05. Brennan & Booth - Bones
Brennan & BoothI'm a little behind, but I'm fairly sure they haven't gotten together yet. But it's killing me that they won't just do it, and let us all breathe! Once they do though, I fear the show will lose one of its best aspects. They have had so many great moments together, so I will never be able to pick just one! Like other couples it's only them who don't see the attraction between them. You can feel it every single scene they share together.

04. Izzie & Denny - Grey's Anatomy
Izzie and DennyThe only great couple in a show all about couple and it ended in death. Alex, no. George, God no. Denny, perfect. The writers built up their relationship so well throughout the season. It's no wonder that it attracted so many fans. Dizzie are the greatest pairing to come out of the show. The overly annoying Meredith and Derek don't even come close. It's hard to pick a best moment out of all of them, but if I had to, they would probably be Denny's proposal and Izzie's breakdown after he died, that just broke my heart ƒ¼

03. Anya & Xander - Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Anya & XandAnya and Xander went so well together, why it didn't work out really saddens me. I loved all of their moments together all up to that heartbreaking episode in season six, when Xander leaves her at the altar. I really wish she would have survived in the end, and that her and Xander were still together. I am happy things ended well before she was killed. Best moment is probably when Xander proposed in the Gift.

02. Allison & Joe DuBois - Medium
Allison & JoeThe best married couple on TV. They are written like the perfect well oiled marriage machine! Though they have had many spats over the course of the show, you just can't help but smile that they have survived it all! You can' mention them without mentioning their family as they are almost part of the couple too! Their best moments include the season 2 finale, and the very end of the season 4 finale, two very cute moments!

01. Willow & Tara - Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Tara & WillI defy anyone to find a single person who dislikes this couple. So it comes as no surprise that they are the top of my list. They are romantic, beyond cute, sweet and it kills me that it never worked out. Kennedys great and all but, she certainly isn't Tara. Your heart shattered to see Willow lose her. From her first appearance, you knew Tara was the one for Willow. They had so many great moments together; the entire episode 'Family' is probably the best example. I don't even have to mention that kiss from the Body. Nobody will ever forget this TV couple. Joss, why did you end it like you did?!

Comic Book Land
I finished The Long Way Home. I have to say, though I did like it, it was a little strange at times. Not just because of the comic book format, but because the story itself was a little too "Big". I see Joss loves not having a bidget, but an army of Zombies is a little overkill. I loved that Joss has retained a lot of his trademark humour in the comics. And it was nice to see Willow, Buffy and Xander together again. The twilight plot is interesting, though it's not making a lot of sense right now. I'm sure that it will soon.

Private Practice finished this week. The season finale was as slow as the rest of the season. The only character I really liked was Violet. She was played to perfection to Amy Brenneman. The rest are quite annoying. Pete and Naomi are very wooden, very rarely showing any interesting traits. Sam falls into line with them. Dell is a silly character with hardly any place in the show. Cooper is one I actually like, he's probably my second favorite. I'm against all Charlotte King haters, she has really grown on me. A lot of the stories seemed like recycled Grey's Anatomy some of the time. I will give the show a break as the writers strike cut it short before it realised it's potential. I might return if it is shown in the summer when I have more free time!

Grey's Anatomy has climbed up my list. It's back to great episodes again. It seems with Prvate Practice off the air the show benefits! I want more Izzie though. Since she has been ignored by the writers, Cristina has overtaken her as the best character on the show. Lexie is also underused. She has to be given more than sucking up to her moaning b&tch of a sister.

I just received a new editorship for Dania Ramirez. I had submitted and hadn't gotten them sorted so tv.com must have moderated them and retired the editor. Since they seem to have been gone for a while, I decided to go for the guide. It's nice to have it since I am one of the few fans of her on Heroes.

It's been a slow week really. Not much has happened. I'm just waiting until I get an official start date for university. Ahh, scary!

Your Wish is My Shift-Command

"Little Computer Humour there for ya." Mac- Veronica Mars

Thanks for the help in deciding on which icon to use. As you can tell, I've changed it to the winning icon. Icon #4 appeared to be very popular aswell! Next, a new banner!

Stargate Nowhere
Stargate Atlantis RIPIf you've been following my blogs over the past few weeks, you might know that I have gotten into Stargate Atlantis. Right now, it's one of my top 5 shows, so you can imagine how p*ssed I was to hear it was cancelled. Was it me?! DId I jinx it for everyone else by watching it?! SG1 got 10 years. I don't even watch that, so why does Atlantis get half that . On the plus side, I'm loving season four. I was a little disappointed with Jewel Staite's character at first, but I'm loving her after a few episodes of development.

I finished firefly aswell. It was my second time watching it all. I can't believe I waited this long to do so. I had forgotten a lot of the episodes. It seems to be the only show which all of the episodes are amazing. Though, admittedly it's not that hard since there weren't that many episodes to begin with. I still love River as much as last time, but I love Kaylee even more. She's such a loveable character. Pretty much all the characters are likeable. But my least favorites are probably Inarra and Simon. Serenity is at a friends who is away till the end of the month, so I have a while to wait before I get it back to rewatch agian! It has also made me even more excited for Dollhouse. Joss can do no wrong.

Comic Book Nerd?
Buffy - Long Way HomeI'm not a comic person, at all. I did, however, make an acception for the Buffy season 8 comics. I ordered the first volume and read part one. If it were in TV form, it would be the best season ever! I can tell that Joss likes not being bound by a budget. Castle, Super-size Dawn. He's deinitley making the most of it. Some very funny call backs to Angel even, with Andew thinking it would be funny to set up a Buffy in Rome! So, we're already getting some answers! I loved the cliffhanger too! Full review coming as soon as I finish reading it all!

The Heroes cast images are out too. Nothing special at all. Pretty bland really. Also no Kristen Bell or Ali Larter images. Poo. And would Matt just leave the show already?! Check some out Here

The debs were alright, nothing special at all. Seemed to have a lot of hype surrounding it. It's mostly just an excuse to get dressed up!

Since I haven't sone a new list for a while, top 20 shows excluded, I figure a new list is order. I have a few ideas to give a try, so expect one in the near future!

Back to Mars?

Hello again! I have a few small tidbits to blog about!

Return to Mars
Is Veronica Back Sleuthing Again?Obviously if your a VM fan you must have heard about the rumours around today about the chances of a Big Screen adaption being put back on the table. I for one, am on the fence. If it were to happen the chances are that it would take the form of Veronica Mars: FBI, which to use Mac's term would be "A b*stardised sup-par version of the show".
No, I would much rather see it in the form of a TV movie or better yet, mini series following either V's second year at Hearst, or her as a full PI still in Neptune, along with Keith, Mac, Wallace, weevil and co. But VM is still VM. If it does come back, I will worship it, regardless of the format!
How about all of you. Any thoughts?

Icon Change
I have been contemplating this for a while. I've had this icon all summer so it's time for a change. I have a few options lined up, all Kristen Bell ones of course. Which should I use?

1. Icon 12. Icon 23. Icon 34. Icon 4

Grey's Daze
Addison ReturnsI have finally seen an episode of GA that has renewed my faith in the show. Ever since the beginning of the fourth season the quality has been sinking fast. Last week saw an improvement but this was season 3 esque, not season 2, but it is getting there. Addison returned, and it made me realise PP does not do her character justice. Izzie was great, Cristina is awesome, Lexie though only featured briefly was great too! I still love Bailey. Shes the only one with a decent storyline this season. Things are improving and I am definitley excited! The lesbian love story is so sweet, I can't wait to see where it ends up by seasons end.

In other TV news, I finished rewatching VM season 2. Just as great as it always was. And I started to rewatch Firefly on Monday night, and I only have 2 episodes left. Two fo the best episdoes too. I really love Kaylee! She's so adorable! I had forgotten how well written it was. Almost every episode is as entertaining as the next.

My friends Debs/Grads are on tomorrow. Mine are the 10th of Spetember, so her's are like a trial run! Hope it will be fun, I'll fill you all in this weekend if you'll care to read!

Thanks once again for stopping bye!

Fall-ing Head Over Heels

The new Fall (Thats Autumn Where I come from, but hey) TV Season is just around the corner and it is bringing with it a whole new crop of TV seasons! I always love seeing the beginning of a new TV season, and to see what direction the shows take for the year. I'm hoping this year, a lot of the shows improve!

Most Anticipating:
Heroes Season 3
Villains
Though season 2 sucked, and thats pretty much agreed, season 3 looks like wit will make uo for that in spades. With Kristen Bell returning, and a whole new chapter in the Heroes saga, what more could I want? Maybe the old likeable Claire back again please?! And for God's sake . . . NO FEUDAL JAPAN!

Gossip Girl Season 2
GG All in White
I loved season one, and that was just the show getting started. I believe that the writers have a lot more up their sleeves for the second season of the show. Heres hoping the show doesn't suffer a slump. I doubt it will though.

Desperate Housewives Season 5
5 Years Later
I know that a lot of people are worried that the show will be completley different, and will suck, but I for one, am very excited. I'm glad the writers were brave enough to hop forward and change the show around a little bit.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Season 2
Sarah Connor - Season 2
Season one as an amazing start, so I hope that the writers can pull of a great follow up and keep the momentum rolling for season 2. Fox will hopefully keep the show around long enough to prove it's worth, and fingers crossed that it won't suffer the fate of some other shows, like Firefly*sobs*.

America's Next Top Model Cycle 11
Next Top Hippie
Though the last cycles sucked in the end, I have high hopes for this one. It's back to LA after relocating back to NY for cycle 10 which is a bit of a bummer, but it looks like it will be a great entertaining cycle, with another Asian and even a Transgender!

Errrr. . .
Smallville
Season 8
SMV
I will never give up on it, but I think that the show can pull it together for a good final season. The past 3 seasons have been cr*p. So I'm a bit iffy on this one, but I WILL be back.

Supernaural Season 4
SPNTL season 4
I will probably download when I get the chance, during the winter hiatus to fill the time. It's an entertaining show, and I usually come back for more, so I'll try my best to come back to it!

Don't Care:
One Tree Hill Season 6
OTH
I seriously doubt I will ever go back, and if I do it will be to see if there is any change in quality. The show is not enjoyable at all. It's way too cheesy and boring now.

Veronica Mars rewatchage is going well. My 100th time rewatching and the show still rocks! Dexter season 2 is TV at its best. I'm still loving Lila and Rita is still my favourite character. I enjoy watching her develop. Dexter's outwitting of Doakes was genius!

As predicted, I was offered my top college chioce! University here I come! I'm so excited about it. I also have my Debs coming up. Both mine and my friends. Her's are this Thursday. Basically it's the Prom just not in school and with Drink! Should be fun.

Have a great week everyone, and thanks for reading.

Feel the Love

Sorry for not being on in a couple of days, I've been having a busy time with my results getting back! I did really well, I'm very happy with myself! I got a B1 in Irish which was amazing! An A2 in Accounting which I though I failed. Art was a dissapointment. I got a B3. I may get it rechecked. I got 475 points in total. For non Irish people it's pretty good! More than enough to get my top college choice! I'm so excited to start in October!

ANTM 11 Girls - Feel the Love!
Top Model 11They've finally been released. I'm liking the look of a few of them. McKey in particular. She looks very modely, as does Sheena. It's nice to see another Asian on the show since Gina from cycle 6 did a bad job of representing her nationality! There are a few plain janes in there aswell. Tyra has not given up her fierce awkward search just yet, Marjorie looks like the Lauren/Heather of cycle 11. That being said, I will be looking forward to watching another cycle of b*tching, makeovers, breakdowns, photoshoots and more! I have hopes that this cycle will but the past two ugly cycles behind us. I do really like the whole Hippie vibe this year! I really will try to 'Feel The Love'!

TV General
Lexie Stealing Flowers!Grey's Anatomy
'Where The Wild Things Are' was a great surprise this week. I enjoyed more than any of the other episodes of the season. Still not up to par with the best the show has produced but it's an improvement! Lexie and Cristina were awesome. Loved watching lexie steal everything, and I HATE the way she is treated by Meredith. That needs to change! Private Practice was OK aswell, not great though. I'm not so sure I can keep interest in this show for long. I finished Stargate Atlantis season 3 this week. The best season so far. The episodes were the strongest they have ever been, and the characters were all better written. Their attempt to bring about a better team chemisry was definitley successful. There were some great team moments, such as the Fantastic Four Part So funny! I will be sad to see Weir go, because she was far more likeable this season. I'm pretty much against SG1 so I'm not sure wether I'll enjoy Sam Carter's presence next season, but I will definitley be back!

An icon change may be in order soon, though I may also stick with this one. If I do change, it will most likely be to yet another Kristen Bell one!

Other than that there isn't much else to say other than thanks for stopping by my blog!

Blog 151 - Part 2

Yes, I know this isn't #150 anymore, but tv.com didn't give me enough space to put this into one!

Top 20 Shows - Part 2 - 10 to 1

10. Roswell (1999 - 2002)
Roswell Cast
Starring: Shiri Appelby, Jason Behr, Katherine Heigl, Majandra Delfino, Brendan Fehr, Nick Wechsler and William Sadler
Though not the ebst written show, I still loved it. I was always interested in starting the show, but never really brought myself to watch it when it used to be on, but during one of its reruns on sci fi I was pulled in. That summer was mostly spent obsessing over the show, trying to finish it all. The show, though not amazingly written, is extremely entertaining. I love both the sci fi and the drama side to things. I loved the first season, especially the final arc. Season 2 was amazing. All the arcs were great, but I did love the Laurie Dupree arc. IMO it was the best written of the three. Season 3 was weaker than the rest, but I loved the last two episodes. I'm glad the show got some sort of ending. I would have loved if "Four Aliens and a Baby" was the season finale and we got a fourth, but I'll take what I can get! Overall, a great entertaining show, cut before it's time.
Best Episode: The Departure, Four Aliens and a Baby
Worst Episode: Michael, the Guys and the Great Snapple Caper
Best Season: 2
Worst Season: 3
Best Character: Maria
Worst Character: Jesse

09. Grey's Anatomy (2005 - Present)
Grey's Anatomy
Starring: Ellen Pompeo, Sandra Oh, Katherine Heigl, Justin Chambers, TR Knight, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr and Patrick Dempsy
Grey's is going downhill, fast, but despite this it is still one of my favourite shows due to it's phenomenal first two seasons. Season 1 was an amazing start and season 2 is one of the greatest TV seasons ever made. Season 3 was pretty good, but not as good as the preceding one. Season 4 is sucking and I'm trying so hard to stay interested. I do have faith in this show though, I'm not going anywhere. Fingers crossed for a great fifth season! Izzie is probably my favourite character. Her storyline was the best in season 2 but since then she hasn't had much to do. Cristina is also another one of my favourites. Her numbering of her interns was hilarious! I also really like Lexie who I'm hoping will punch Meredith soon!
Best Episode: It's the End of the World
Worst Episode: Crash into me
Best Season: 2
Worst Season: 4
Best Character: Izzie
Worst Character: George

08. Battlestar Galactica (2003 - 2009)
BSG
Starring: Edward James Olmos, Mary McDonnell, Katee Sackhoff, Jamie Bamber, James Callis, Tricia Helfer, Grace Park
I was sceptical at first, but a few episodes into season 1, I became hooked. The show itself seems like just another bad space show, but BSG is completely different to that. I love the combination of action, religion, romance and mystery. Most of the shows major plotlines are incredibly well written. Sadly, like a lot of other shows, it has become a little dull. Though the final two episodes I saw of season 4 did pick up and returned to the original quality the show once had. None the less, I love this show. I hope season 4.5 can keep the quality of those two episodes up.
Best Episode: Pegasus
Worst Episode: Sine Qua Non
Best Season: 2
Worst Season: 4
Best Character: Starbuck
Worst Character: Tigh

07. House (2004 - Present)
House
Starring: Hugh Laurie, Lisa Edelstein, Omar Epps, Robert Sean Lenard, Jennifer Morisson, Jesse Spencer
House is one of my new found gems. I was interested initially by the general premise of the show. A doctor addicted to pain medications solving unsolvable cases. I liked it at first, but I can now say I officially LOVE it! Hugh Laurie is outstanding and possibly one of the greatest living actors of our time. The characters are all very likeable, and most are very humorous. One of the low points of the show is the House Cameron pairing. There was no chemistry there, so I'm glad it was gotten rid of. Not just starting season 3, I've come to realise what a terrific show this really is. I'm sure in time it will climb my list.
Best Episode: Three Stories
Worst Episode: Spin
Best Character: House, Wilson
Worst Character: Foreman

06. Heroes (2006 - Present)
Heroes cast
Starring: Hayden Panettiere, Milo Ventimiglia, Ali Larter, Kristen Bell, Jack Coleman, Masi Oka, Adrian Pasdar
Though it seriously hit a rock during its second season, Heroes had an amazing first season that made me fall in love with it from day one. The premiere episode hooked me instantly and the plot drove forward at a brilliant pace with the great "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" storyline onto the "Are you on the list?" story. It rarely bored me, and the writers knew which characters were the ones that needed to go, and which needed to stay. Simone and Isaac were two weak links, and they were cut. I was glad to see them go. The season ended with a bang (literally) and had me anticipating an amazing second season . . . which never came. I do, however, have high expectations for the third season. I know the strike greatly affected Heroes this year, so I will give it an excuse. I've heard rumours the third season premiere is great, so I am looking forward to it!
Best Episode: Homecoming
Worst Episode: Powerless
Best Season: 1
Worst Season: 2
Best Character: Niki, Claire (Season 1), Elle (Though I am biased due to KB!)
Worst Character: Peter

05. Alias (2001 - 2006)
Alias cast
Starring: Jennifer Garner, Ron Rifkin, Micahel Vartan, Carl Lumbly, Kevin Weisman and Victor Garber
Spying, espionage, cloning, stealing, what's not to love?! Though I started the show late, after it had ended, I loved this show as much as any other. I am one of the few who love the Rambaldi arcs, finding them very interesting. I love the action, the plot twists and a lot of the characters. Syd is a great protagonist, Marshall always has me in tears of laughter, Lauren is a brilliant villain, though she only lasted one season, Jack always had the best lines, and Syd and Vaughn made an awesome couple! I really do miss it, and wish it got better treatment during its fifth and final season, though the season itself was strong the network didn't do a lot to help.
Best Episode: Phase One, The Telling
Worst Episode: Welcome to Liberty Village
Best Season: 5, 2
Worst Season: 4
Best Character: So Many! Irina, Syd, Lauren
Worst Character: Noah (season 1, hated him!)

04. Desperate Housewives (2004 - Present)
Desperate Housewives
Starring: Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross, Eva Longoria with Brenda Strong as "Mary Alice Young" and James Denton
Desperate Housewives still remains one of my all time favourite shows. The stories stay fresh and upbeat, the pace is always fantastic, the mysteries are always intriguing. Though it suffered a slightly slow second season, the show redeemed itself with season 3 and season 4 blew me away and any memory of a bad time for this show has now been destroyed! The characters are usually very appealing. Though the mystery sucked, I did love Betty Applewhite. I'd love to see her come back, even just for one episode, while still keeping that mystery in the ground. Hopefully the next season will be as great as its beginning.
Best Episode: Bang, Free
Worst Episode: We're Gonna Be All Right
Best Season: 4
Worst Season: 2
Best Character: Bree, Lynette
Worst Character: Matthew Applewhite

03. Medium (2004 - Present)
Medium - Patricia Arquette
Starring: Patricia Arquette, Miguel Sandoval, David Cubitt and Jake Weber
A year ago I never would have put Medium so high on my list of shows. Ever. Probably not even top 10. But the show has grown on me a lot and I have come to realise what a terrific show it is. Unlike most other shows it presents not only the crime and paranormal side to it, but the family side. That is what makes this show so unique. It took me a while, but not it is one of my favourite shows and probably one of the greatest written shows ever.
Best Episode: Wicked Game, Mother's Little Helper
Worst Episode: The Whole Truth
Best Season: 3
Worst Season: 4
Best Character: Allison
Worst Character: Meghan Doyle

02. Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997 - 2003)
BtVS
Starring: Sarah Michelle Gellar, Nicholas Brendan, Emma Caulfield, Antony Steward Head, Amber Benson, James Marsters, Michelle Trachtenburg, and Alyson Hannigan as "Willow"
Buffy is a cult c lassic, and will never fade through time. It is a household name, and though many people don't watch the show, they do know the name, and that means something. The show is probably the best in its genre. Joss Whedon dominates the sci-fi drama segment of television. He could make a show about a cat serial killer and make it quality. Plot lines are always well thought out, characters well developed and the humour is not to be forgotten. I really enjoy both the dark episodes and light hearted episodes. Of course there are the unforgettable ones like Hush and Once More with Feeling.
Best Episode: Chosen, Restless, The Gift
Worst Episode: Doublemeat Palace
Best Season: 4, 5, 7
Worst Season: 1, 6
Best Character: Anya, Willow
Worst Character: Joss can't make any bad characters!

01. Veronica Mars (2004 - 2007)
VM Cast
Starring: Kristen Bell, Jason Dohring, Percy Daggs III, Tina Majorino, Michael Muhney, and Enrico Colantoni
This show is without doubt my favourite show of all time, for many reasons. The mysteries in the show are put together amazingly. The comedy in the show is brilliant. Kristen Bell. Yes, she is a reason all on her own. The show pulls you into the world of Neptune, and I was crushed that we were all forced to leave, though it was not much of a surprise. . . Veronica will remain in all of our hearts forever! In the great Joss Whedon's words: Best. Show. Ever.
Best Episode: Not Pictured
Worst Episode: Green Eyed Monster
Best Season: 1 7 2 are equal in quality
Worst Season: 3
Best Character: Veronica
Worst Character: Logan

Note on List: I have not included America's Next Top Model in this list as I feel it is in a different entertainment category.

Who Didn't Make the Cut: Tru Calling, Lost, Point Pleasant, Hex, Bones, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Supernatural, The OC and Family Guy are all shows that would make top 30

TV.com History
I first noticed this site back when it was tv tome, but due to a bad internet connection I never joined. In 2006 I saw it again as tv.com. I had just introduced myself to the world of forums and blogs etc so I decided this would be perfect. At the time I was a HUUUGE Charmed fan and had the unfortunate nickname of "Panda", hence the username!
I started out just posting to the Charmed forum, but gradually began to post blogs and contribute. I then focused more on blogging and letting other people know my views on TV shows I liked, which at the time was mostly Charmed! My blogs have definitely matured over the course of my time here, if you want, go back and check out my older blog posts if you're up for a laugh!
I'll admit I was never the most popular person on here. In fact I'm pretty low down on that scale.
Recently I left this site go for a while to focus on important exams (Which I will be getting the results to very soon). Now I'm back, and I think it's for another long while.

Thanks to everyone who has been reading these 150 (+1) Blogs! I'll be back soon with my regular blogs!

Blog 150 - Part 1

Yay! 150 Blogs! Sorry it took so long, I've been having some internet trouble, plus I've had some birthday celebrations to attend! I'm 19! God, I don't feel it . . .

To start off this blog is my top 20 shows. This was very difficult to make, but I got it as accurate as I possibly could (for now).

Top 20 Shows

20. Ugly Betty (2006 - Present)
Ugly Betty
Starring: Ammerica Ferrara, Eric Mabius, Ana Ortiz, Ashley Jensen, Becki Newton, Marc Indelicato, Michael Urie, and Vanessa Williams
Kicking off this list is a show that is just so cute, it had to be in this list! I loved Ugly Betty from the start and I will continue to love it for a while to come! Obviously one of the main reasons I love it is due to the fact that Marc and Amanda are in it! Even is small doses it makes the bad episodes bearable. Though season 1 was a lot better than season 2 I still loved it. I am looking forward to what the future has in store for Betty!
Best Episode: I'm Coming Out
Worst Episode: Burning Questions
Best Season: 1
Worst Season: 2
Best Character: Amanda
Worst Character: Henry

19. TIE:
Stargate Atlantis (2004 - Present)
Atlantis
Starring: Joe Flanigan, Rachel Lutrell, Jason Momoa and David Hewlett as "Dr. McKay"
Atlantis as I have mentioned in a previously written blog is a new discovery of mine. I'm glad I have found a heavy sci fi show apart from galactic that I can enjoy. I enjoyed all three seasons. The majority of the episodes were entertaining and most of the characters are great. I will be sticking with it throughout its run!
Best Episode: The Return
Worst Episode: The Tower
Best Season: 3
Worst Season: 2
Best Character: McKay
Worst Character: Forde (I know I said Weir last time but I realise he sucked way worse than her!)

Firefly (2002)
Firefly
Starring: Nathan Fillion, Gina Torres, Adam Baldwin, Alan Tudyk, Jewel Staite, Summer Glau, Sean Maher, Morena Baccarin, Ron Glass
A terrific yet short lived series. I haven't watched it in so long. The show is definitely on my "Must re watch list". I enjoyed all 13 episodes. Every character is individual and well written. The cast was well assembled, featuring some of the best Buffy Angel stars. I'm glad a movie got made to give the show some sort of ending. Though I did prefer the series itself to the movie, I still loved it.
Best Episode: Objects in Space
Worst Episode: Shindig
Best Character: River
Worst Character: Inara

18. Dead Like Me (2003 - 2004)
DLM Cast
Starring: Ellen Muth, Callum Blue, Laura Harris, Jasmine Guy, Britt Mckillip with Cynthia Stevenson and Mandy Patinkin
This show is one truly great example of a show cut in its prime. Though it wasn't left with any issues unresolved, I do feel much cheated out of a proper ending. To my delight I learned recently that a DLM movie has been made. I'm waiting patiently for the release! I loved Daisy. She is one of the greatest TV characters ever. Some of you may remember my countdown a year or two back in which she was in the top spot. All the others were awesome too. The comedy is very original and well written. I was a huge fan of the alternate stories following George's family as well. I will say that I loved both seasons equally. They both had great moments. I expect great things from the film!
Best Episode: Haunted
Worst Episode: There were no bad points
Best Character: Daisy
Worst Character: Clancy

17. Gilmore Girls (2000 - 2007)
Gilmore Girls
Starring: Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Melissa Mcarthy, Keiko Agena, Liza Weil and Kelly Bishop Special Appearance by Edward Herrman
GG is one of those shows that are one in a million. The show is truly special and had a great 7 year run. It started out strong. It hit its peak during the fifth season. The sixth was still great. Sadly it never got the ending it deserved and the seventh season sucked big time. The characters are all awesome though! The show is very watchable and if you haven't seen it yet give it a go. It makes for great light viewing. The comedy is very unique, and is always very funny to watch. I loved and will continue to love those girls named Gilmore!
Best Episode: Wedding Bell Blues
Worst Episode: Bon Voyage (Biggest Let down Ever)
Best Season: 5
Worst Season: 7
Best Character: Lorelai
Worst Character: Dean

16. Angel (2000 - 2004)
Angel
Starring: David Boreanaz, Charisma Carpenter, Amy Acker, and Alexis Denisof
Don't hate me for having it here on my list! It suffered mostly due to the fact that I have been forgetting about it in recent days. If this list were to be made after I have rewatched the show again, it would be top 10. The show is great though. It established itself as a completely different show to BtVS and its one darker tone as well. The characters, as they are in Buffy, are all likeable. Angel works very well as the lead of the spin off, unlike other spin offs *cough*Private Practice*cough*. Cordelia is one of the best characters on TV ever, easily the best in Joss Verse. I also love Fred and the amazingly developed Wesley. I'm glad it got a decent run. Sadly though, the ending was not the best. I still love it though.
Best Episode: You're Welcome
Worst Episode: Billy
Best Season: 4
Worst Season: 3
Best Character: Cordy
Worst Character: Gunn

15. Gossip Girl (2007 - Present)
GG
Starring: Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, Taylor Momsen with Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle Narrated by Kristen Bell
Since this show has only one season I wouldn't be surprised if it climbed my list in a couple of years. Though it is a teen drama, it is written very well, acted very well, and has hardly any problems. It appeals to the normal crowd and also to a different group of people looking for a well written show. If you haven't seen GG yet, check it out. There are so many OMG's and WTF's. Love. Just Love.
Best Episode: A thin Line between Chuck and Nate
Worst Episode: Poison Ivy
Best Character: Blair, Georgina
Worst Character: Nate

14. Dexter (2006 - Present)
Dexter
Starring: Michael C. Hall, Julie Benz, Jennifer Carpenter and James Remear
This show grows on me the more I watch it. Season 2 is Justas good as the first and just as appealing. The show is superbly written and acted. The revealing of all the answers is done tastefully, and always in a way that makes your jaw drop! I'm looking forward to seeing what lies in the future of this show!
Best Episode: The Dark Defender
Worst Episode: Crocodile
Best Character: Rita
Worst Character: Doakes (Though he is growing on me too)

13. Charmed (1998 - 2006)
Charmed
Starring: Alyssa Milano, Shannen Doherty, Rose McGowan, and Holly Marie Combs as "Piper", Brian Krause, Dorian Gregory
Though I don't watch it much these days, I feel out of obligation Charmed needed a spot in this list! I wish I could get the chance to rewatch and fall in love with it again! I just don't have the time anymore! The first 4 seasons was when most people feel the show was best written, and I do agree, but it doesn't really take away from the entertainment value of the later seasons. I liked all the sisters, except Prue. God how I hated her. The show had some high highs and some low lows but I stuck by its side till the end! Season 8 began disastrous. But the late part of season was a lot better than people remember it. Though Forever Charmed was waaay to cheesy. The ending was sweet though. I do miss it a lot. I would like to see a miniseries recreated at some point in the future.
Best Episode: All Hell Breaks Loose
Worst Episode: Malice in Wonderland
Best Season: 3, 5
Worst Season: 8
Best Character: We all remember the Billie days! I do still like her, but the spot now goes to Paige
Worst Character: Prue

12. Smallville (2001 - Present)
SMV
Starring: Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, Kristin Kreuk, Allison Mack, Erica Durance
Though seasons 5 -7 were very badly written, the first four were great. And this would be top 5 based solely on those seasons, but the final 3 drag it way down. I'm really worried this show might not be able to redeem itself by the time it has ended. It is its final year, and I will be back again. Back in the good old days I loved watching Clark growing up, which was the whole point of the show. He is grown up now, time to move on? Chloe is so amazing. She is 70% of the reason I'm still watching it! Though she annoyed the hell out of me up until the end of season 5, Lana rocked season 6. I saw a great side to her. Too bad it disappeared season 7. Season 4 was amazing. I loved the storyline following the stones, and the season finale was the strongest episode ever. Though Season 5 started strong, it quickly started to suck. Season 6 was hit and miss. It had its moments. Season 7 was mostly miss. I liked the early seasons, but seasons 3 & 4 were the best for me.
Best Episode: Commencement, Tomb
Worst Episode: Take your pick, there's too many
Best Season: 4
Worst Season: 5, 7
Best Character: Chloe all the way baby!
Worst Character: Clark. He really annoys me.

11. Ghost Whisperer (2005 - Present)
GW Cast
Starring: Jennifer Love Hewitt, David Conrad and Camryn Manheim
Yes, 90% of people reading this probably think this show is complete trash, but hey, I love it. The show is a simple yet enjoyable experience. JLH is a great lead, and the likeable characters provide great support. At times they do seem a bit too nice; I'd like to see a bit of darkness in them. Overall though, the show makes for great watching. I enjoyed all three seasons. The first was its strongest though. Lets pray for an even better fourth season.
Best Episode: Free Fall
Worst Episode: Speed Demon, Horror Show
Best Season: 1
Worst Season: 2
Best Character: Melinda
Worst Character: Jim

Editorships and Contributions
I'm not a major contributor, but I do contribute, and I have been doing a lot more lately. My most prized editorship is one I attained recently; "Kristen Bell", if you want this guide from me your will have to take it by force! I have just two small show guides, but I'm very proud of them! I had both of these guides added and worked like crazy to become editor for both. I only have 2 TC spots, both from the same user! Thanks to you mackymacaspac. As far as editorships, I don't really have a goal for how many I want. I will keep submitting until I get sick of it!

I'll keep this short, as I don't like to give a lot of personal info out online. My first name is Cian, I just turned 19. I'm Irish. I Am about to start university. I'm addicted to TV, obviously. I live in afamlity of 5. I'm leaving home this year to go to university, scary I know! Not much else I really need to say!

Due to the overwhelming length of my blog, PART 2 will be on it's way soon!

Seriously?!

All my complete season reviews are complete, here are my partial season reviews to lead up to my 150th blog.

Grey's Anatomy Season 4 (Episodes 1 - 10)
Grey's CastIn Izzie's words "Seriously?!" How can Grey's a show that was once so great suck this bad. Seriously?!
Meredith is getting under my skin. As a lead character she is very hateable. Most people hated her from the beginning, but I gave her a chance. That has all changed now. Other characters who I hated from the beginning still anoy me. George is my most hated of all. As Katy Heigl has said, she has been given some terrible material this season. She is very popular with the fans so this type of treatment is not on with me. Cristina is being overshadowed by some of the lesser characters that do nothing for me. I love her, and I think she deserves a lot better than this. Bailey rocks as usual, I wish she was given more to do also. Crash Into Me was the worst episode ever, but the only thing I liked was that Bailey's home life was shown.
The plot lines have lost their edge. Nothing has come close the greatness of the second season. All of them pretty much suck. I do enjoy Lexie's introduction to the show. She is one of my new favourites surprisingly!
To keep this review short, I am very disappointed. C'mon writers! Pick it up!
Best Episode: The Heart of the Matter
Worst Episode: Crash Into Me
Best Character: Lexie
Worst Character: George
Overall Score: 3.1/10

Dexter Season 2 (Episodes 1 - 5)
DexterI was not fully impressed by the first episode of the season, but since then my opinion has changed. The show continues to impress me week to week. The episodes get better and better. Despite the fact that this isn't based on the book, the quality is just as strong as the first season.
Lila is the awesomest! She is one of the best TV characters ever created. I'm hoping to see her more as the show progresses. Rita continues to impress me. I love how much she has changed since season 1. Deb is different too, and I'm still on her side.
Overall the show rocks. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.
Best Episode: The Dark Defender
Worst Episode: It's Alive!
Best Character: Lila
Worst Character: Doakes
Overall Score: 9.4/10

TV General
Dexter, as I have said, was awesome this week. The best show on air right now. But there isn't much showing now so not a big difference! I finished re watching Medium season 1 and I enjoyed it a lot more than I did first time around. I had forgotten how well written it was! I've spent the weekend at home watching Veronica Mars season one, and I'm already up to episode 16. This show does not get old!

150th
Yes, its coming up next! Keep an eye out at the weekend for it please! I want you all to read, there should be something interesting for everyone!

Have a good week everyone

Stargate Atlantis Seasons 1 & 2
I have realised that I have never gone into detail on my thoughts on Stargate Atlantis. Do, eading up to my 150th Blog, I have my review on the show so far!
I enteed the show very wary, having tried SG1 and hated it, I thought I would hate this to. My friend convinced me it was different. At first I didn't belive him, but after the first few episodes it really showed itself to be a very independant show from SG1.
Stargate AtlantisThe characters in it are are very appealling. Shepard is a wonderful protagonist, leading the cast in a great way. Joe Flanigan himself is also a great actor. Weir as a character is very unappealing. She doesn't seem to bring a lot to the table. Teyla is a nice character, though she too does not have a lot to offer. But I feel this is due to the writing of her character. She has yet to have a storyline that intigues me and Rachel Luttrell is also not the strongest actress. This to, I feel, is due to how poorly her character is written. Ronan is on the fence for me. He throws a few cool puches and kicks, but never anything majorly interesting. I was delighted that Forde was written out of the show. His character had nothing to offer, and I'm glad the writers realised that. McKay is the best character in the show. he carries the show and is 100% my favrite character in the show. Hes a loveable, funny and well written character. He is played close to perfect by David Hewlett.
The season long plotline of season one was amazing. The lingering threat of the Wraith gave a great sense of meanace all season long, This made the season extremley exciting. The final few episodes built up fantasticly to the season finale, which was one of the best finales I have seen. Season 2 followed up really well with the third part of The Seige, but the season itself, though still good, was not as good as the first. The excitement that was present in the first season didn't seem to be there during season 2. But that being said, the show was still great. I loved the Michael stryline, and I look forward to seeing him again. Season 3, though only a few episodes in, is the best yet. The episodes have all been stellar, and the writing is th best I have seen it. I hope the rest of the season is as good as this!
Best Episode: The Seige
Worst Episode: The Tower
Best Character: Mckay
Worst Character: Weir
Overall Show Score: 8.5/10

TV General
Grey's Anatomy still hasn't picked up. And I'm slowly starting to notice things that annoy me. I've heard things improve so I'll stick around a while longer. Private Practice was cancelled this week, but I'm not that broken up obviously. it will be back next week. I'm rewatching Medium season 1 at the moment. Its better than I remeber. I'm trying to hold off on watching House (expect a House review sometine soon) season 3, to enjoy it more! I will be watching Atlantis on and off for a while aswell. I still have my half season reviews to wite on Grey's, PP and Dexter.

150th
I will start preparations on my 150th blog soon! I hope you will all read it.

Editorships
I've been working on getting a coule of new ones. I've just become editor for Katarzyna Dolinska from ANTM 10.

Enjoy the rest of your week. Until next blog . . .

TV General
AtlantisTV, as I have already said, has been very slow lately, being summer and all. But some shows are showing over here. Dexter season 2 is amazing. I love it just as much as the first. Private Practice and Grey's Anatomy are on tonight. I've decided I will finish the first season of PP, but if it is still slow after that, I'll move on. Grey's Anatomy is still very weak, I'm waitig for it to pick up. I have seen the first 8 episodes of Stargate Atlantis season 3. Loved it! Season 3 is the best season yet. Can't wait to see the rest of it.

150th

Hope everyone has a great week

PS: Happy birthday to noahcrash. I have just met him, and he seems like a great person, and a great addition to the community here, plus he never fails to make me laugh!

I'm pandacharmed, I don't get wet . . .

And now for my final installment of full season reviews . . .

Ugly Betty Season 2
UB CastI'm not going to say that season 2 was bad, because it really did make me a laugh a hell of a lot! But it just did not have the magic of the first season.
The Betty Henry Charlie love triangle has been taken way too far. It should have ended back in season one. But the writers obviously couldn't let go. While I'm still on this topic, I find Henry extremely irritating, and am counting down the days until he is written out of the show.
Gio on the other hand was a brilliant new cast member. He brought some more of the brilliance from season one back. He and Betty have far more chemistry than Henry cr*pstick!
Hilda and Ignacio were underused this season. The show could have done with a little less Henry and a little more Hilda, because I find her to be so so entertaining! Justin did have a decent amount of screentime, the perfect amount for his character.
The Meade family storyline was at it's best at the beginning of season 2. The wedding episode was the highlight of the arc. Claire Meade is one of my favourite characters in the show and she is someone who needs a bit more attention in season 3.
Season 2 was saved due to 3 amazing characters: Wilhelmina, Marc and Amanda. The Marc Amanda team makes this show. If this show ends, these two deserve their own show. 90% of the time, I'm laughing because of something they have done. Let's recap their amazing moments:
Amanda's performance of 'Milkshake'
Amanda trying to connect with Betty through her mother's death
Marc and Wilhelmina escaping Betty and Henry
The list goes on! I highly enjoyed Amanda's attempt to track down her father. Though I felt the way the plot ended was a bit of a cop out. They make the comedy of the series and steal the show. Anyone know where I can sign a petition for 'The Marc and Amanda Show'?! Wilhelmina is a fantastic villain, one of my favorites on TV in fact, and I'm glad she is given the attention she deserves.
Season 2 had it's moments, but it was just not as good as season one. Ugly Betty hit a slump, but I'm hoping they can pull it together come season 3. To finish this review . . .
I don't get wet!
Best Episode: A Nice Day for a Posh Wedding
Worst Episode: Burining Questions
Best Character(s): Marc & Amanda
Worst Character: Henry
Overall Score: 7.1/10

One Tree Hill Season 5
One Tree HillI think I have out grown One Tree Hill. Because despite the fact that they grew up this season into adults, the show itself didn't mature at all.
The cheesy speeches still remain in virtually every episode. James Lafferty and Lee Norris' acting skills are still at rock bottom, and the unbelievably pointless characters still remain in the show, in the place of characters that rocked the show to it's core, and by that I mean Rachel who got a whopping 2 episode arc! Sarcasm there if you didn't get that!
The nanny Carrie storyline was unbelievably great though, and kept me watching the start of the season, but I feel it was ended way too soon. After episode 100, the show took a drastic turn for the worse and became the most boring lamest show to grace television screens everywhere. The only plot that was in any way interesting was Brooke's, and that was just because I love her character too much!
Jamie was cute for the first few episodes, but after that just became irritating beyond belief! Seriously, a child shouldn't be getting that much screen time in any show. Unfortunately, I seem to be the only one in the world who thinks this!
The Lucas Lindsey Peyton triangle (Just like the Ugly Betty one) went on waaaaay too long. They should have let things be after episode 100, but they didn't. It was like watching paint dry. It became so tedious after a few episodes, I wanted to stop watching. But faith in the show kept me watching. But now that faith is diminishing bit by bit.
Season 5 was such a let down. I am considering not returning next season.
Best Episode: Hundred
Worst Episode: Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace
Best Character: Brooke
Worst Character: Mouth
Overall Score: 4.8/10

Medium Season 4
MediumMedium at first was a show I wasn't too sure about. I would force myself to watch it, to see if I can get into it. And I did. Medium is now one of the favourite shows. Season 1 was a great starting season. Season 2 was amazing. Season 3 was it's best. Even though season 4 wasn't as good as the previous season, I still really enjoyed it.
I loved the change in formula and welcomed it as it was a nice change. It was great to see the family struggle with some new issues like money management. It gave the show some great opportunities for new storylines.
Cynthia Keener's plotline was my favourite, and I loved her character. I thought her and Allison made a great team. Wicked Game was an amazing two parter episode was gave great insight into her character. Though I was sad to see her go, I loved how it happened. That final scene on the doorstep had me close to tears. It was nice to see Allison with a female companion for once!
The Meghan Doyle arc was not as good. In fact it was a little boring. After that the show went downhill. I didn't feel like the storylines were as string as they were in the beginning.
Overall I did like the season. It just wasn't the best the series has had. That being said, bring on season 5!
Best Episode: Wicked Game
Worst Episode: Being Joey Carmichael
Best Character: Cynthia Keener
Worst Character: Meghan Doyle
Overall Score: 8.2/10

That concludes my reviews! Be sure to let me know if you have any thoughts.

I have also become editor for Majandra Delfino. Most of you might know her from Roswell as Maria. I'm really happy with this one! Two great editorships in a row! woot!

End of Season Reviews: Take 4

And for my fourth set of reviews, I have . . .

America's Next Top Model
Cycle 9
Heather/JenahCycle 9 was a complete disaster looking back on it. Tyra made some bad decisions in the past, but none as bad as this cycle. There were clearly a few standout models, but Saleisha was NOT one of them. She was good. . .enough. But will make as good a high fashion model as my cat. She only won for one reason. She cheated. Chantal was beautiful, and had some modelling potential, I thought she was a really nice girl (from what I saw of her at least), and she was one of my favourites but I just don't think she should have made it to final 2. The strongest models of the bunch were Heather, Jenah and Lisa. Only one of which made it to the final 3, and none made it to final 2. China was an awesome destination though, and I loved some of the photoshoots that they did this cycle. The winner was a letdown, the eliminations were a complete joke, and I don't think a cycle can have as bad a winner ever again.
Best Photo: The best photos produced were probably Heather's shot standing out from a crowd of Chinese dragons or Jenah's shot in the desert.
Favourite Model: Heather by far. Almost everyone will agree!
Worst Model: Bianca. Do I really need to explain why?!
Overall Score: 4.4/10
Cycle 10
Anya's paparazzi shotI was hoping and praying it would improve over cycle 9, and I guess it kind of did. The decision to relocate back to NY was a good one, and definitely helped the show. But once again, there were some amazingly bad decisions by the judges. The final 3 I personally would choose would be Katarzyna, Anya and Fatima (In that order). Thankfully 2 made it there. But neither of them won. Whitney won for the sake of have a full figured winner. What a SHAM! She was pretty and all, but nowhere near winner material. The cycle was entertaining to begin with, but after moving to Rome, it became unbearably boring. Dominique never should have made it past week 3. And Katarzyna should have won (or Anya). There were some amazing photos produced though.
Best Photo: My favourite (probably of the whole 10 cycles) was Anya's paparazzi shot (which is currently my icon).
Favourite Model: Katarzyna. She was a model through and through. Anya in close second though.
Worst Model: Dominique. Never should have made it as far as she did.
Overall Score: 5.6/10

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Season 1
T:TSCC - Summer GlauSince I haven't seen any of the films that preceded this show, I wasn't sure that this show would be for me. But since I'm usually open to new shows I gave it a shot. I don't normally love a show by episode 1, but this show had me taken after the pilot episode.
Summer Glau was my favourite cast member. But then again, I am biased being a huge Joss Whedon fan. She was perfect in the role of Cameron and stole the show form most other cast members. Lena Heady was also fantastic. She was a perfect choice for the lead role, and played every scene brilliantly. Thomas Dekker being very young doesn't have as much pull as the other two do, but he does pretty well as John Connor. Brian Austin Green did nothing for me, and is a pretty dull character along with that, but his character did move along the plot.
The storyline itself was pretty easy to follow as a Terminator Virgin. I never missed any of the major twists. Every episode was as good as the last, but like most shows there were a few weak parts. There was only very few of these though!
The show almost as a Joss element in it too, with some of the humour featured in it, mostly through Cameron. Watching her trying to become human was very entertaining to watch, and the writers got the right balance of seriousness and humour in her character.
Overall I am extremely satisfied with the shows first season, and I hope to see this quality and more next season.
Best Episode: What He Beheld
Worst Episode: The Turk (Not a bad episode, just my least favourite)
Best Character: Cameron
Worst Character: Derek Reese
Overall Score: 9.1/10

Still to Come: Ugly Betty S2, One Tree Hill S5, Medium S4, Grey's Anatomy S4 (so far), House seasons 1 & 2 general review.

Over on editorship front, me and my very helpful trusted contributor are trying our very best to repair the damage done to the Kristen Bell guide. There's a lot of useless info in there, and useless quotes too.

Patricia Arquette MediumDexter season 2 continues tonight with the third episode. I'm definitely looking forward to it. The season has been pretty good so far. I finished One Tree Hill season 5 (at long last), so it will be one of my reviews to come. I'm trying to make Medium season 4 last as long as possible, so I can enjoy it. It is my #1 show right now, it's just so well written, which few shows are these days. Grey's Anatomy is actually pretty cr*p this season. No episode has been as good as the previous seasons, and I really am sick to death of Gizzie. I'm starting to hate most of the characters and Izzie is stuck in a bad place this season. I can really see why she took herself out of the running due to the bad writing. Private Practice is dull. I'm very near done with it. It still hasn't jumped out to me. No episode has been great so far.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Best News Ever! (+ More Reviews)

Kristen BellI logged on today, and found out some of the best news since, I don't know when. I have just become editor for Kristen Bell. I'm not sure if most of the people reading know that I am a HUGE fan of Ms. Bell. She is my #1 actress hands down, so to be handed this editorship is beyond amazing. She is a hugely talented actress and is finally starting to get the recognition that she so greatly deserves after receiving next to none for her outstanding performances in Veronica Mars. This is the best guide I have gotten since beginning to contribute to tv . com.

Ghost Whisperer Season 3
Ghost WhispererA lot of people fume about Ghost Whisperer saying it's just a load of trash that shouldn't be allowed on the air. I can't say how much I disagree with them on that. It may not be the most complex, or best acted, or best written show, but Ghost Whisperer never fails to entertain me. The first two seasons seemed to have virtually any flaws, and season 3 was no different.
Shows don't have to be really complex and have hidden meanings to make it an enjoyable experience. That's definitely true for this show. Jennifer Love Hewitt fits into the role of Melinda so well, and this season was probably her best yet. The cast of this show have been excellently assembled, and show that you don't always have to have a huge cast to be a good show. Ghost Whisperer does just fine with it's 3+ cast members, each just as good as the other. Jim is a great character, but I just want to see him do something wrong for once, he just seems a bit too perfect. Delia was a great addition in season 2, and a great friend for Mel, but I preferred Andrea from season one, her and Melinda seemed to play off each other better. Payne is probably the best supporting character. His jokes are always amusing, and his witty banter with Melinda is charming.
Though it has mostly stand alone episodes, the arc this season that deals with Grandview and Melinda's past made for great viewing, and made the show a bit darker than usual, which was nice to see for a change! The season finale was amazing and drew the season to a close on a high. I loved the revelation about who her father really was, it changed the show a small bit. I hope Melinda's mother sticks around a bit more. I really enjoy seeing her with Mel. The cliffhanger was one of the best, though I think season one's will always be the best the show will ever have.
So, Ghost Whisperer is, and will always be, one of my favourite shows for the reasons that people hate it in the first place! It makes for fun light viewing, and though cheesy at times, gives me a warm fuzzy feeling! I hope that the show gets even darker in season 4, and that it continues to be just as charming.
Best Episode: Pater Familias
Worst Episode: Horror Show
Best Character: Melinda, Payne
Worst Character: Jim
Overall Score: 8.8/10

Supernatural Season 3
Sam, DeanThis show will never really be at the top of my list of shows, but that doesn't mean I'm going to stop watching either. Season 3 was one of the best seasons. I'm glad they introduced some new characters into the mix, to change the show a bit. It is also the perfect example of a show that does not need a huge cast to make the show a good one.
I liked the whole countdown to Dean's death thing. It kept the season at a good pace, and the writers weren't afraid to take advantage of all the writing opportunites that came with the plot, and how it affected each brother differently. On that note, I really do love seeing their relationship grow stringer, and they definitely have great on screen chemistry (as brothers I mean), and it makes the show more enjoyable.
Though the best season, it did include some extremely weak episodes, the worst being 'Ghostfacers', which was probably the worst of the series.
Bela was an awesome character. I loved her instantly and was devastated that they decided to writer her out. She was probably a better character than the two brothers, and the actress who played her gets 10/10 from me.
Ruby was another great addition, though not as strong as Bela. I am glad she is back next year though. She is another actress who I would give a high score to.
Overall, the season was great, and I expect more great things to come in the shows future (which will hopefully be the expected two seasons).
Best Episode: Jus In Bello
Worst Episode: Ghostfacers
Best Character: Bela
Worst Character: Sam
Overall Score: 7.9/10

Still To Come: America's Next Top Model (C9 & C10), Ugly Betty (S2), One Tree Hill (S5), Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (S1) (+General House Review)

Not much happening with me personally, I'm just enjoying the time off, and catching up on TV and such! Thanks for reading another installment of my reviews!
