So my Grandad has cancer.... We've known since the start of the year, and he's been getting chemo, but this week we found out that he wasn't going to make it to Christmas. We knew that he wasn't going to survive it, but we were kind of expecting.... or hoping i guess, that he'd at least make it until next year, and then we learn that he's going to be on onxygen from now on, and he's really puffy because the cancer has spread to his liver, and now his liver is pretty much buggered.
I am so scared. I cannot imagine things without my grandad. And because I was expecting next year when they were talking about time frames at the start of the year, I am not prepared for such a small time. I have no idea how to handle any of it.
Ok, so I have a strange question. A very, very, very strange one, that I hope someone on here can help me with. Ok so it's really 2 questions and here I go.
1). How come on CSI: Miami when the police go with them to a crime scene they are called Miami Dade Police Department. Now I looked it up on my old friend goggle and it is in fact called MDPD, but my question is why. In places such as New York, they are called New York Police Department (NYPD). So why does Miami have Dade in it?
2). So my second question is focused more on people from the UK, but anyone who knows this please help me out. I noticed the other day, that the channel LivingTv only airs CSI and CSI Miami. They do not air CSI NY. My question is why?

Hey guys, I'm leaving out of town, probably tomorrow, and I'll be back Sunday. I need to desperately get the hell out of here. LOL I need a break away from home. Anyway, we're taking the RV and heading north. Can't wait! And the weather is supposed to be pretty damn nice here in WA too. It's been awesome here the past week or so. Can't complain!

Why?
Why is it that all the shows I watch seem to never follow through with what they build up?
First of all, let's start with SVU. Now that's a given. I sorta gave up on watching Law and Order SVU primarily because the tension between elliot and Olivia that has been built up for years is now pretty much nonexistent. No more close moments, heart-to-hearts...no more eye-sex. Nothing. Where is the sexual tension that we used to see back in Season 6-7? Where's the "You're the longest relationship I've ever had with a man" feelings? What, now that Elliot has knocked up Kathy yet again, only prolonging an already broken marriage, Olivia pretends her feelings for Elliot have never existed? What is it with writers these days?!
After giving up on SVU, I started making up for the lack of shipping with House and Cuddy's interesting dynamic. Finally, a show that was actually going forward with built up sexual tension...Or so I thought. I started watching soon after I saw the Huddy kiss, which felt so....satisfying. Relieving. But of course, it was something that was only momentary and they both have since fallen back to their unrequited love phase. Post-huddy kiss episodes have been riling with explosive sexual tension, from House indirectly complimenting Cuddy, to Cuddy's longing looks at House....It was pretty much obvious at this point that eventual 'tension relief' was inevitable.
Which brings me to the last couple of episodes of House. The Huddy excitement begins in Under My Skin, when House retreats to Cuddy's office and asks her to help him with detoxing. Cuddy agrees and, after a long night of unpleasant nausea, withdrawal, and utter misery on House's part, Cuddy admits her feelings towards House. There is a long pause. They are both staring at each other. Both acknowledge they are alone. Awkward, yet HOT and WELCOMING sexual tension ensues...which culminates in hot, fiery passionate sex.
The finale was much invited as well for Huddy fans around the world. House's expected pompous attitude over his deed was definitely entertaining, as well as Cuddy's attempts to forget about what happened the night before. All was well, until the last ten minutes of the finale, which just blew me away...in a BAD way.
Which brings me to this point.
REALLY?!
Really, House TPTB? Was it really necessary to make everything all part of House's hallucinations?! I felt so cheated, betrayed, and fooled. For once, I thought there was actually a show out there that followed through with a relationship, but apparently I was blatantly wrong. For once, I thought House was going to be happy, for once I thought House was truly not in pain. But of course, the writers decided it would be nice to pull the rug right out from under all of us and make it all, well, an illusion. a figment of House's imagination--mentally ill imagination, to be exact. And now, we are back to square one. except now, it is more apparent that House is pining for Cuddy, which makes it all the more painful to watch now that we know that the Huddy romance of these last couple of episodes never happened.
I have never been more disappointed about a show in my life. I don't even know what is worse--SVU for pretending that EO no longer exists, or House for deceiving everyone.
There is really no purpose for me to watch TV nowadays. It's not like I even had a TV to watch here in the first place.
Anyway...I just can't wait until the return of Stephanie March!!! It will be nice to get a break from Greyleck, even though I was starting to get used to her. I also can't wait until the new episodes start next week.
Well, my last final was wed. the 10th so my dad came and picked me up and now i am back in baker for winter break. i have been over at the pd pretty much everyday. nothing that cool happened until today, we are in the breakroom eating lunch and dispatch comes on the radio and tells the officers they have 'information' and proceeded to say there was a house fire right down the road from the pd. it was cool to see everyone hightail it to their cars. i asked if i could go and chief said i could so i hopped in the CSO's truck and we pull out of the driveway and about 2 blocks away you could see the fire trucks that were already there. the 3 police vehicles had to do traffic control. so i got to wear this bright orange reflective vest and direct cars. sad part is neither the cso or i had hats jackets or gloves and it was about 7f degrees outside. (that would be -13c for anyone outside the states.) sergeant drove by us and let me wear her hat (she's so nice 
) and poor cso didnt have anything. after a couple mins she was like 'if you wanna run back and go get your coat you can. just grab mine too' lol. so i ran back to the pd and grabbed our stuff and then ran back (literally, i was running.). then after a few more mins they let us go back home. seems it was just a small wall fire in someones house, no one was hurt so thats always good.
and later i shoveled part of the parking lot because there is just too much snow here!!! lets see, what else. oh, i did a ride last friday with officer b and we didnt get one call the entire night (although we did find some people misbehaving on our own so its not like we didnt do anything). i am going to try and do a ride tonight, have to wonder over in about an hour to see if someone will take me (and who could deny such a magnificent person? lol). then i am doing a ride on friday (during the day) and i have one set up on the 23rd as well. ill see if i cant get some more before i have to go back to school - for my last quarter of my college education! i graduate in march!!!
so, i think that is it for now. im hungry and therefore i am going to go take care of some business with the microwave and leftover pizza 
So a lot has changed since my last blog entry.
I no longer work at the Disney Store. While I was working for the Disney Store it was owned by the same company that owns The Children's Place. Well that company went bankrupt and wanted to sell all the Disney Stores back to the Walt Disney Company. They managed to sell all the stores back, but once we were owned by Disney again, they made the decision to close 101 stores. And mine was one of them. It was horrible when we were in liquidation. It sucked because we were like a family there, and it was forcing us to move on and move away from each other. My store closed June 7th.
After the store closed, I started working full time at Macy's in their Junior's department. I liked it at first, but then everything started to go downhill and fast. I wasn't trained properly and I would get yelled at for things that I never learned or was never told about. I was treated like I didn't matter in the company and like they were more concerned about making money than they were about me.
The first week in July, my entire cast from the Disney Store and I took a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. It was great. It was nice to be back together again and it was my first time at Disney, so my fellow cast members made it a vacation to remember for me. I had to amazing magical moments. The first one was after seeing the High School Musical 2: School's Out show at Hollywood Studios. I was so excited that I started crying when the show ended. And the second one was at Magic Kingdom when I got to meet Ariel. She is my favorite Disney Princess, and I was in complete awe.
One the drive to the airport to leave for Florida, one of my lead cast members dared me to call Walt Disney World and set up an interview for while I was on vacation. So I did.
AND NOW I AM WORKING AT THE MAGIC KINGDOM! I WORK AT WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORTS IN FLORIDA! WHOO! I am completely living the dream right now. I moved down to Florida the end of July, with the lead cast member (Samantha) who dared me to call and get an interview. I work on Mainstreet USA in the shop called the Emporium. Sam works in Tomorrowland. We are having the best time ever. I love my job!!
And as for Macy's..I put in my resignation the day I came back from my vacation. And then I told everyone what was on my mind, and how I was so upset over the way I was treated.
The hardest part about moving away from home is that I really miss everyone. Mainly my godchildren. I miss seeing them all the time. And they don't understand why I left, just that Aunt Erica isn't around anymore. And I miss my kitty. I wasn't able to bring her with me, and it hurts to have to live without her.
But for the first time I know I am where I am supposed to be. I love my job and I love the way my life is going right now!
I realized I haven't posted a blog since, like, March. I feel bad 'cause I'm like never on here anymore. I remember how I used to live on the SVU forums and come on here every day. I rarely do that anymore, and I'm really not sure why, but I sorry. I hope everyone doesn't feel like I'm adandoning them. I'm trying to start posting more and everything, but I've been soo busy.
I'm going to try to come on here more often though, 'cause I really miss this place!
I'm noticing a lot of people are gone, though, too. I'm hoping everyone is alright!

Here's what's new with me:
1. I have an addiction to bread. No lie, sandwhiches, garlic bread, pizza crust. I love it all.
2. I have OJD (Obsessive Jonas Disorder) and have had it ever since I went to a concert.
3. NYC was amazing! I never updated you guys on that. I went in April, and I saw Legally Blonde the Musical on Broadway, had an awkward moment with the Naked Cowboy, and went to a victorious Yankee game. I also rode on the subway for the first time, and although I was scared at first, it was fun. I didn't see any celebrities (unless you consider the Naked Cowboy one, but a lot of people haven't heard of him.) but it was stil amazing and I saw a lot of SVU references (A subway sign that said "Coney Island".)
4. I got to meet Mitchel Musso from Hannah Montana, and Demi Lovato who is a singer and starred in Camp Rock.
5. I'm really happy with life, and starting to care less and less what people think about me. 
6. I spend almost every minute of my free time on Youtube. It's pathetic.

Well so far everything is going well. We are getting married next May and have already picked our venue. It has a chapel onsite from 18th century and has a really nice reception room.
I have bought my dress too, it is getting made, that is going to take about 3 months. It is really lovely, has a huge long train at the back. It is a strapless dress with a really nice bodice that pulls my stomach in and makes my boobs look good!!! It also makes me look like I have no butt so all in all its fantastic!
We just went shopping for bridesmaids dresses today and luckily botht the girls found a dress they could agree on!!! It is a nice light purple short dress. It can be worn again so it will be great for the races ect. It doesnt look like a traditional bridesmaid dress. They have to be made now aswell so final fitting for them will be next January!!
Everyone cant believe how quickly I am getting this put together! Ive got the makeup, cars, dresses ect organised. My boyfriend just has to get his suit for him and his best man. So that will probalby end up beign down to me to organise cos we all know what men can be like!!!
Actually just thought of one thing we havent sorted out is the wedding bands, gonna have to get onto that cos my fingers are so tiny that it will probably have to be made as well!!!

Hey guys. it's been a while without a blog (I don't even think anyone reads this but whatever). I decided I would do a blog dedicated to my obsessions. I have a very obsessive personality and I always have something I am obsessed about. sometimes 2 or 3 things.
It started when I was a baby. I can't remember a time when I wasn't obsessed with teddy bears. I absolutely LOVED them. I still do I have like 50 in my room and whole shelves dedicated to decorative bears. I had a subscription to a teddy bear magazine at one point!
Then I moved on to beanie babies. LOOOOOVED them. It started with the little ones at McDonald's. My and my younger brother both had sooooo many of them. Ten we got the bigger ones and the biggest ones.My favorite was a turtle named Speedy. I still have him and brought him to University with me.
After that I kinda had an obsession with Pokemon. I know I'm sad eh? but I watched the show and I had the gameboy game I had billion of action figures and handbooks. I was such a sucker for that type of thing.
Then I went through a hippo phase (random I know). I just loved everything that had to do with hippos. I even stole a hippo book from my school library. I used to draw hippos on everything. It was really wierd.
Then I had an obsession with the colour orange. It's still my favorite colour. My room is still orange.. But all my clothes were orange for a while. I really was a wierd kid.
Then I had an obsession with Pirates of the Carribean. I got the first one on DVD for christmas one year and watched it 25 times before Christmas break was over. I knew (and still know LOL) every single line of the entire movie. I had pics of Johnny Depp on my wall beside my bed. It was I think the worst obsession yet.
Then I went through an obsession of math/logic puzzles. The website I went to was www.conceptispuzzles.com . It is the best!!! I used to wait every week for friday to come because then new puzzles would come out. I am sooo wierd.
And theeeeen.... my biggest obssion of all time : Law and Order SVU! I am still suffering from this one (although not as bad as when I started I think). It all started after I watched fault 2 years ago. And I have been very crazy since. I would name off all the weird stuff I did but I'm sure you are all to familiar with the reading fanfiction, knowing all the names of all the episode, ect.
And my newest obsession (which is rivaling the SVU obsession) David Archuleta! I saw him first on American Idol and I have been in LOVE with him ever since. I rewatch all his AI performances on youtube, I am on David forums, I send him fanmail, I have downloaded his iTunes songs and listen to them every night when I fall asleep. And it's just getting worse. LOL it's hard to juggle both the SVU and the David obsession at once!
So that's it! It makes me wonder what my next obsession will be. So far I've had a toy, an animal, a clolour, a movie, a tv show, puzzles, and a singer. what's left!!!!

Okay, so first off. The braces are getting better. I ate a hamburger Sunday night, which was really nice. I'm also sorta getting used to the look of them.
I don't know if this is allowed, but oh well.
My real question is... has anybody else been reading Spin by MaddyM on svufiction? (I don't know if any of you guys are her, but I don't think so...) Anyway, she had said she might delete it, and I think she did because I can't find it anywhere on there. Does anyone else know what's up with that? If she did, I'm going to be sad, because I was really liking it.
Hey everyone! Sorry I have not been able to come on here. School has been hectic with projects and homework, even on Christmas break! Now I have finals until the 17th, so after that I will definitely be back I have a full week off because of Regents Week, so I can't wait!! I hope everyone is doing well.

I just recently started reading and writing fan-fics, mostly for SVU and Law & Order. The one I'm writing is an SVU/ Grey's Anatomy crossover, based on the episode of Grey's Anatomy with the penis I'm also planning an SVU/Bones fan-fic. The two couples with the most sexual tension should so meet- and Hodgins and Munch can discuss conspiracy theories! And, the story is going to involve a double date.
