It's been a long time since I heard Lowell maybe about 40 years and boy did this bring back memories. I love me some Lowell, he's so smooth and soulful it's a low down diry shame. A shame in a good way. Love it, love it. Just can't get enough of it. I must begin to save because I've found my niche on this site. I'm just a down home blues girl. The music of today just don't do much for me. The cliches and the engineered music when the artist just can't sing a lick but is making millions, what is the world coming to? I absolutely declare LOWELL FULSON IS DYNAMITE.

I just bought an Etta James cd over the holidays and she is still smoking. Although she's had her share of tradgedy the fire may have been around her but she did not get burned she was refined by it. Fantasia is something like this lady and it is so refreshing to reconnect with Etta after sol many years. I hope she gets the financial secutity and musical alcolades she deserves. It's pleasing to see that the old pioneers who opend so many doors for the youngsters are now getting their due. The singing is so pure and soulful, it's pleasing to the ears and how wonderful it is to be able to enjoy such a classy songbird.

Bobby Blue Bland is still dynamite after all these years. I can't get enough of him, every song speaks to my heart. I have some of his cds and boy do I listen to them, what ever I'm going through it seems Mr. B has it covered. I am so happy someone was thoughtful enough to have him on the computer so I can sample him at a touch of the button or keys I shuld say. My hat is off to you Mr. B. and I am looking forward to many more years of fine music.

What a delightful refreshing treat. I loved every track and she made me laugh, cry, think back to the good old days. This is the next big thing in music since the Beatles. A diva in the making. I hear Billie Holiday which I think is the highest compliment any singer can garner. Dinah Washington, Aretha, Tina Turner. She is off the hook and I can't wait for her Sophmore album. This chick is real and here to last.
