Alright! Here's the final blog like this for the year. My desk may not be entirely clean but it is definitely looking better. The finale of WHO LIKES 2009!
The following items will have the plus sign (+), which means I have more than one. So if you see someone who might have claimed it try posting another comment just in case I have more left. I am listing each of these as sets too, so each line means it's heading home to that person who claims it first.

After these are given away I'm cleaning up my blogs and I'll create little celebration blog for those who want to show off their schwag to everyone once your prizes are received. So, hold off on your thanks or pics for this blog and wait for the other blog after this is over. Thanks!
UPDATE: You can choose more than 1 item, but be fair to your fellow GameSpotters! Choose 1-2 items instead of every single thing I have here. LOL
UPDATE 2: I'll remove the items on the list as frequent as I can. I just realized I forgot two items that I just added here.
So I just read that season 3 of The Boondocks is to start airing in March. Finally! Been waiting for like a year for new episodes. Wonder why it took so long?

the best Shooter ever made.

one of the best Action Adventure games on the 360 for 2009.
Today, Xbox Live is giving away a free New Years Day Premium Theme. It's available today only for free, regularly 240 points. Apparently, there have been reports that it isn't really a premium theme and according to Major Nelson, the Marketplace/Marketing team are checking into that issue.
Have you Ever heard of Tutorvista? It's an online tutoring service that gives free 10 minute demos. After that though, you're forced to pay high prices for unlimited tutoring. You've got to hand it to these tutors- they take a lot of crap from kids. The following is a conversation my friend sent me. Not sure where he got it from. After getting his free 10 minute demo though, the student managed to keep the tutor on for an extra 10 minutes! 20 minutes of fun for the price of none!

Winter has arrived with a vengeance. We got about half a foot of snow. While it looks beautiful....the driving is not the best. For some reason I cannot fathom Pittsburgh has difficulty with snow removal on the roads. I've lived in cities that receive more snow regularly and the roads are cleaned ASAP. And then their is the shoveling. If possible when purchasing/renting....definitely avoid corner houses. And if you can get a place without sidewalks....so much the better. I think I need a snow blower.
In other news I've finished Christmas shopping. Just have a few stocking stuffers left and a couple checks to write. Yay! Thanks for reading.....
So all you jealous folks, I'm writing this blog from Kelly's house. Everyone else here is asleep. Something about waking up in the morning. I heard the word morning and nearly collapsed in a fit of horror. Actually Kelly is making Eggs Benadict so I really should get up an eat. Thing to note: You know how Kelly says she can cook? Well damn Kelly can cook. It was her son's birthday today and she made him a birthday cake. I'll let her share the details, but let's just say I have never eaten a cake that good in my entire life. Chris made burgers using meat that wasn't frozen two years ago. It tasted like something resembling fresh meat. For those of you who have lived in a city your whole life, really take the time to go and taste some fresh meat. It really is entirely different than frozen store bought meat.I just said meat a lot huh?
Okay another thing to note: Kelly doesn't joke when she says she doesn't like people. Like she really doesn't like people. Reminds me of, well, me.
Anyways, I got Kelly's PS3 to go online. Not really sure what the problem was. I just hit connect and it connected. She is running her PS3 in 480i right now through some composite cables. We will be getting an hdmi cable for that and for her 360 tomorrow. I think she is going to freak when she sees the difference. Nothing like a little 1080p goodness to change one's opinion about a game or system.
Let's see, what else. Kelly has a lot of crazy game stuff in this room I'm in right now. She has a full five foot Gears of War 2 cutout, a bunch of ridiculous figurines, and a lot of games. She also has a huge dog. Like seriously this is the biggest dog I have ever seen in my entire life. He's initially rather intimidating, but he's actually just adorable. Really one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met.
In other news, I took a look a GS's GOTY noms and realized just how few games I have played this year. Kelly got me Infamous for Christmas, so that should knock one off of my to play list. I think it shows just how good a year this was for PS3 that over a quarter of the GOTY nominees were PS3 exclusives. I'm not being a fanboy when I say that this was the year of the PS3. Sony really played it's A game this year and I think it really worked out for them. Strong sales, a lot of hype, and so forth.
Okay I have to get to bed so I can wake up and eat some Kelly breakfast. I missed French Toast this morning. Don't know how I slept through that. Oh well.
So I will say that I'm very much done with finals (and actually have been for a few days) and overall I'm pretty sure they went well. I know that I've already made an A in one class, which is good, but the rest I have to wait until next week. Anyways, after I finished finals this week, I started by bus training. It's flown by and really all I have to say is... right turns, right turns, right turns.
I'm half tempted to go around my town and shave off the curbs on all street corners to make driver's lives easier.
They require a good deal of preparation and skill to squeeze a 40 foot bus (or any other large, long vehicle) into a space designed for a 16 foot car. Other than that, it's actually kind of fun. Oh and don't worry, the only thing I've terrorized are some orange traffic cones in a parking lot on my first day of training. ![]()
Anyways, besides that I'm heading home for Christmas tomorrow. I have one more thing I have to do for work and I'm free.
Oh, something interesting I noticed today. I made it to level 50 (after how many years? lol) ![]()

It's been a tradition to see an epic movie on December 18. Some years are more fruitful than others. This year was a real success! I didn't know much about Avatar going in. I had a vague knowledge about the storyline and I didn't read any reviews about it.Nonetheless, it was definitely one of my three favourite movies of 2009. You guys know how many movies I watch. I don't say this lightly. You should all see it. Everyone will be surprised byAvatar's great storyline. Watching it in 3D makes the experience that much better. Great job having 3D + CGI + Live action. To think the movie has been "in the making" for almost 15 years.
Watch it!

Aww yeah, everybody raise some noise for the DJ Boy in da house ![]()
Lol, I'm level 38 now, and I think I have been for a bit now but decided to include it in my blog because I haven't blogged for ages and needed something to blog about. Plus I managed to find this cute pic of a kool kitten on the decks ![]()
I also haven't made a sig in ages so thought I would make one:

Tell me what you think ![]()
I leave you with this random vid. Enjoy ![]()
So I was wrapping gitfts, and I thought I would take a little break and let you guys see a couple of new systems that I purchased recently.
First up:

Yup, FINALLY got a God of War PSP. I should have got it when it was new, but someone traded this one in at my store, and fortunately they took great care of it. The screen just appears to be scratched because of the LED screen cleaner I just used on it, but actually its damn near mint! The PSP logo on the front has some very minor nicks, no biggie tho.

This my friends is a little known gem called the JVC X'EYE. I got this on eBay for a very respectable ammount ($70 bucks I think?). You can read some info on this system HERE, since I am too lazy to type it all up.
I got this a while ago, but while I was taking pics, I thought I would share this with you.....

This is that wierd TV tuner thing that I was telling you about for the GBA Advance. It completely works, but unfortunately all channels went digital, so I cannot pick up anything. I have got some sound before, but the picture is still all fuzz....
Well, thats all for now, I will be going to work soon, so I have to get ready.
Later!
Done with finals so bring on Christmas break!
Short and sweet.
Arkansas made the Liberty Bowl against East Carolina...what a game that will be ![]()
Yes, I'm still alive. And no, I wasn't waiting for a princess to come and wake me up with a kiss
My last blog post is date Oct '08 and I can't believe it's been a year since I last logged in. Glances at the inbox though, keep me glued to reality. Why have I been away?
Well, first of all, when I first left GS there was close to zero activity, and I'd found other places to go to. Plus, I was pretty busy back then and quite literally addcited to GS so I used to end up wasting a lot of time. I'm still busy but the addiction is no longer there...
Secondly, my system back then was old, really old, and couldn't run anything new. But now I have a new rig and decided to at least come to GS to take a look at what's floating around, and lost to my urge to log in ![]()
My rig: Intel Core2 Duo E7500 2.93 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT 1 gb, with 2 gigs of ram and 1 TB HDD. I kept telling my dad that 2 gigs ram won't be enough but he said that I can get an upgarde when I need to. Same for the CPU. The GPU should last for a while but when it falls short I can just bridge it with SLI.
The first game I played was Assassin's Creed, something I'd bought a few months after it was released and was just waiting to play it
I intend to go get some games this weekend, which is why I looked up GS.
I know my last blog post said this too, but once again I'd like to know what's going on around here...A short update on action/racing games would be welcome. And please let me know if there's enough activity around here to sustain me or not. All this, only if you guys still remember me...![]()
As i mentioned not long ago, level 55 was an easy one. Starting at Level 44 this year, i have gone up 12 levels but next year will be slower with level 63 and level 64 taking atleast 1 year EACH (expect to be in them in all of 2011 and 2012 respectively).
Well it was my birthday on the 29th. I didn't post here because I was so busy but never mind.

Well I got this from one of my uncles. Its a good collection of their songs, but I guess I was alittle disappointed not to be getting the Them Crooked Vultures album, but I will get that later. Them Crooked Vultures is Dave Grohl on Drums (Nirvana, and the lead of Foo Faighters), Josh Homme on guitar and lead (lead of Queens of the Stone Age) and John Paul Jonnes on Bass (Led Zeppelin). They also making their way to my city, so I really want to see them live. I will keep you posted on that one.

Star Wars Battlefront for my Mac is a game I have been wanting for a while, and was pleasantly suprised to find this from my Aunty in England. They don't sell this game in NZ anymore... Its good, but I don't think my old Mac's intergrated graphics really have enough 'omph' so I have to set all the setting to low to make it really smooth... Unfortunatly this game was designed for the old Macs, which used PowerPC processors. My Mac has an Intel processor, and thus the processor has to emulate a different processor.... Groan. Atleast its playable, and I should be getting a new Mac soon, which will have a MUCH better graphics chip. Fingers crossed. Again I will keep you guys posted.

I haven't seen many zombie films, I guess they just never really apealled to me, but ever since I have been playing Left for Dead a bit at my friends house, I guess it peaked my interest. Athlough Zack Snyder's take on the George A Romeo original is a bit predictable, its still a fun watch.

ALSO: Why is the central zombies belly a pretty normal colour when the other infected have bellies matching their face... I guess its just a makeup blunder... But never mind.
I also managed to get some money to help pay off my projector (technically I own it now
), some beans, to fill up my bean bags (they were getting a bit too squishy...) chocolates (of course) and plenty of gift vouches.
Hope everyone is well, and looking forward to Christmas ![]()
I got a question . Why the **** should there be midterms ? man i really do hate them . I have to read all those stuff . Until know i think i wrote very well at composition 1 and sucked at trigonometry . I have 3 more subjects to do . Algebra , System hardware and scientific world . Thats right . All of them suck . Grrrrrrr
Anyway , I've reached lvl31 . I lvl up so slowly. My unions go really well . Gotei and Toonami are two of the greatest unions out there so if you haven't joined them then what are you waiting for ? go NOW!!!! If you are interested in designing stuff , want to make requests and things like that....then go and join Mass Designers Lounge where you can do all those things .
Now ,.....hmmm....if i were to revive my union and start it working again , i was wondering who would be able to help me do that ? So if you are interesting in something like that , then tell me so if i ever decide on doing that i will have you in mind....
thats pretty much all going on so far .... so until my next blog post , cya in the forums!!!!
Grottek
I kno I've been MIA but I hope y'all be having a happy Thanksgiving!
Hullo
Let me start off saying, damn it has been awhile. I haven't even signed in in so long. And I kinda missed this place, it really grew on me over the years I've used it. Mainly because of the awesome people I have met though this site. but anyway, yeah, I last logged in at level 28. Now I'm 30? Okay, cool. Although I hate this level, as it is the level the Great HoDo was banned. Worst day on Gamespot, ever.
On to more Gamey things. I have recently become addicted to Starcraft. Some kid brought it into my Guitar class at school installed in on like every computer in the room. And now we all play that instead of our Guitars. Its a pretty awesome game, that I've really started to like. I'm going to pick up all the parts to the Second Starcraft as they release. My avatar, is also a picture, of one of the main characters, infested Kerrigan. All in all, its a fun game, but really old, so I would highly recommend picking it up for its cheap price, or just finding it for free in the internet slums. Which ever.
My 360 got the RRoD, and I will be sending it in soon and getting my 3rd 360 back. Ugh.
In the mean time, I created a new PSN ID to pass the time, and as you might have Guessed, Its Carmel Chewy, wait, maybe Carmel-Chewy. Lmao I just completely forgot, its one of those two.
Speaking of new games, the newest game out I really want to get right now is Assassin's Creed II. Not MW2, Call of Duty, sucks.I plan on never purchasing MW2.
Anyway, I really liked the first one, and I will get the second one as soon as my 360 returns. As I have the first one on 360, so it would be stupid to get two on the PS3 >_>
So, its late, and I've written enough for a return, eh?
I miss you all, expect me to be slightly more activenow. Which isn't saying much because not to long ago I didn't even sign in. Comment this and I'll comment you back, and do some catching up.
Good day.
