Yes, Jello is God.
Yes, Dead Kennedys are Legends as their music is living on, today.
The reason DK were set apart from the other political punk bands of the 80s such as Crass and Subhumans and was, is and will be ten times better than recent political punk bands such as Anti-flag and Bad Religion is because of the attitude driving each and every DK song. The tone was caustic, sarcastic as hell and made outrageous statements as "kill the poor." By using satire instead of shoving obvious political statements down our throats, Dead Kennedys succeeded in playing the role of devil's advocate, and getting the reaction that they wanted on a political cause from listeners.

Okay two words to those who think The Libertines weren't worth jacksh**. It\'s all about the chemistry and charisma, which The Libertines had plenty of, both in their songs and during live shows. They just don\'t do mic sharing like that anymore. Of course this was when Pete wasn\'t on heroin, but oh well.

Green Day is one kick-@ss band, from their wild live shows to their incredible range of songs (from masturbation to plastic surgery to politics). I could rave on but I'm here mainly to dis Trischo, who from his/her review is an arrogant bast@rd. I could care less if someone doesn't like Green Day, but to spread your opinions about them based on things that are completely untrue is really killing me.
First you say that Green Day is spreading "propaganda that plays on the current events." Um...how do I say this, propaganda is what is spread by the government, don't use words that are too big for you. And being relative to current events has always been a big part of punk music, from The Sex Pistols ("God Save The Queen") and The Clash ("London Calling").
Then Trischo wisely writes Green Day is "the biggest poser around" are "old fossils that try to seem cool by dressing young" and won't last because of this like Fred Durst. Trischo, from your music selection (Good Charlotte, Dashboard), do you even know what real punk is? Punk isn't mtv-packaged bullsh!t. It's a lifestyle. I admit Green Day isn't punk, they are pop-punk, but at least they started on a small record label and built up their credibility with live performances. Unlike your beloved GC (who recently got bottles thrown at them at Reading or some other big concert).
Green Day has worn the same type of clothes since 1994 (specifically Woodstock 94), they are not trying to be anything except themselves. Also people like you who consider 33 years old to be "old" is why there are 17 years olds running around half naked on MTV.
Finally Green Day has been around since 1991, that's 14 years, probably longer than you have been alive. Make sure the next time you dis someone else's music, you know what you are talking about.
