Haven't posted almost ANYTHING in 4 weeks, I've been busy- not just games but I've been busy with school as well.

But it's been good because the best two games of the year (from what I've played) are out and I got both of em'!

Modern Warfare 2 is the S**t. I have to get it out there and can't stress it enough how much I love this game. Yeah, I realize the whole"Activision suxorz" and "NO DEDICATED SERVERS FOR PC F**K ACTIVISION" bandwagons going around but in my opinion, this game trumps the first in every way.

On top of that Assassins Creed 2 is amazing too. There has never been a better feeling of immersion in a game than this. While the first was good the second is INCREDIBLE! I will definitely post a review when I beat it.

Well I hope you had a great thanksgiving, and with Christmas in 4 weeks I hope you all enjoy the season.

After tommorow things will be different- every other game will have a damn near dead community, maybe the whole world might go silent, or it might be the loudest time everthanks to the roaring crowds bursting through the doors of retailers at midnight tonight. As thousands of gamers sign on to either Xbox live or PSN they will decide whether or not Modern Warfare 2 is the greatest game ever or another over-hyped big shot. But even if isn't the true sequel millions want- would it truly matter? Records of sales and preorders have already been smashed, many people (mainly the casual) will be dusting off their neglected systems to finally play games again; while the hardcore leave their 360s on so they can get online a minute faster after they arrive home from the stores, praying to whoever may exist they don't get a red ring.

Well my xbox had been acting like crap the past few weeks, namely it wouldn't read ANY disc, I'd have to cross my fingers and hope it started reading. Yesterday it officially took a major dump and scractched my gamedisc* + refused to even begin reading a disc. I checked online and because it wasn't a red-ring and it was out of warranty: I was screwed.

So why I am I not pissed? Well I got a brand spanking new one!!! I bought an elite model today with the 120g harddrive and everything, it's VERY quiet too compared to any of the other xboxes I've gotten (notice thats plural?).

So whats better than a great new system? being able to say Borderlands is quite possibly one of the best games I've played in awhile, I am definitelyputting a review up soon- check back later for it

*It was actually Borderlands, which sucks, but it thankfully hasn't affected it too much. I can still play the game just fine

Yeah, so far I'm digging it. Plus you can blow up evil midgets.

Ya know what sucks? Buying a game that looks great, has potential, and ends up sucking. In other words- Operation Flashpoint.

Maybe your wondering what the game is in the first place. Well it's a very realistic war game, and to me that sounded awesome. Plus I wanted to try something new. It was under the radar but had a ton of potential to be awesome. Instead I paid $60 for a buggy, dissapointing, frustrating game.

Is it the worst game ever? No. But Ya gotta keep in mind I make jack s**t at work and even then have little hours, so I usually like to put money I DO earn towards stuff thats GOOD. Hell, I could have waited a few days and bought Brutal Legend- that looks great! S**t! I Should have waited two weeks and waited for Borderlands!!!

SON OF A B**CH!!!!!

All right guys, time for a bigger blog this go-round. I've been on gamespot for almost 5 years (though, technically, I barely used it at all until a little over a year ago). With this I've reviewed a TON of games, typically I'm a "nice guy" for games. But over time opinions change- games grow off you, games maylook really crappy compared to others, and sometimes I ask myself looking at my old reviews WhatTheF**k was I thinking!?!?

So...I'm going to list some old games I reviewed/ ratedand see how they hold up

GrandTheftAuto 4

Original score: 10/10 New Score: 9.5/10

Ok...I jumped on the "lets all hail GTA4 for being awesome!!" bandwagon without getting too far into the game. Don't get me wrong, it's still awesome. But over time and after completing the single player story I was dissapointed. There wasn't as much content compared to SanAndreas and to me, that felt cheap.

Ninja Gaiden 2

Original Score: 9.5/10New Score: 8/10

Yeah, whoops. I F'ed up on this one. NinjaGaiden on the original Xbox was my favorite from that console so I was hella excited about this.Just Like GTA4 I didn't truly experience the whole game. I started realizing the flaws of the game as I got farther into the game. Where the first one was tough and challenging, thisone was tough and CHEAP! The new weapons were cool some were unnecessary and I hated the health system.

Far Cry 2

Original Score: 9/10 New Score: 8/10

This is dissapointing. This game had a TON of potential: a cool setting, tons of weapons, an incredible level editor, great graphics...all ruined by a BROKEN SINGLE PLAYER GAME. I was about halfway through the single player when, during a mission, every time I entered a door to meet some guy I fell through the level- this happened about 6 times before I finally just said f**k it.

BioShock

Original Score: 9.5/10 New Score: 10/10

You know what? Some games get better over time- Bioshock is a great example. After a couple extra playthroughs I can say that Bioshock is even more satisfiying the more you play it. The great characters and Oscar-worthy writing in the story only add to this masterpiece.

Perfect Dark Zero

Original Score: 9/10 New Score 7/10

I really got slap myself in the face for this one. This game was NOT good. Yeah, it was the first xbox360 game, yeah it was made by Rare, and yeah it was the sequel to one of the best shooters ever but that doesen't mean s**t when the shooting mechanics are wierd, the graphic and art ****are fugly, and the story is stupid.

Fallout 3

Original Score 10/10 New Score: Still awesome

Fallout is still a fantastic game, after all the add-ons and beting every quest I can happily say this game does not dissapoint.

Wow! Just got back home from seeing this beast of a film, it's awesome!!! This is how you kick off October-possibly the coolest Zombie movie ever!! SEE IT.Nuff' said.

Ok well I was a little bit surprised at this announcement- not beacause it's actually coming out - but namely due to how it isn't DLC. I can't believe I'm saying this but I wished this was DLC instead of a full retail game. BUT I soon learned that the game would be at a budget price, I'm going to hope for $40 because that sounds reasonable for the new features.Also anyone who bought SF4 before will get some type of incentive - a discount or freecostume packs would be nice.I can't wait to see the new characters. I wanna see more StreetFighter3 characters like Alex and Elena. So far theres 3 announced: T Hawk, Juri (brand new), and DeeJay (who isn't "official" but he's in an ad, look below!).

Ok I'm going to sound like a moron here but how do you guys edit banners and the size of images, more specifically what programs do you use? Photoshop? Unfortunately I don't have photoshop or any editing software on my computer, so maybe I could download a trial or just get it from limewire or something...YOU DIDN'T HEAR THIS, DISREGARD THAT.

Also if anyone knows how to make GIFs (animated pictures- like the beavis and butthead icon I found) could you give me some advice? I'd appreciate it.

Ok so I'm debating between buying ODST or waiting another two weeks for Operation: Flashpoint. So far ODST has gotten some good reviews and Firefight is supposed to be addicting as hell. At the same time I'm not in the mood to buy a game that's full price when it only adds a new, short, campaign and same multiplayer from Halo 3 (apparently it was planned to be sold at $40- which would be perfectly suitable - look at the Gears2 GOTY edition, all the maps and game for $40!). Then there's Flashpoint which looks beautiful graphic wise and has some really cool military/ squad gameplay. Plus multiplayer co-op should be intense with 3 other friends.I'm also worried because it might be too realistic for my liking and I've never played a game in the samestyle as flashpoint. And, for all I know, a game so graphically intensive could have some serious bugs/ framerate issues (such as another game like flashpoint- ArmaII).

So what to do guys? Wait for the review on Flashpoint or use the cash I got on ODST- right now?

Then I bought Street Fighter 4 (on a limb)- It rocks!!...but man f**k people who play as Ken online

Then I made some money donating plasma, since I'mnow a Legal adult(OW) and made a quick $40- hell yeah!

So now...I'm gonna be getting OperationFlashpoint: Dragon Rising when that comes out, unless it gets crappy reviews, otherwise I'll get ODST or wait for Borderlands. I Put down all $80 for Modernwarfare 2 as well and that is getting me more and more excited every day!

It should be a good year for gaming overall, best of all I will not be too busy with schoolwork, at least schoolwork that is frustrating, because most of my classes are kind of easy, and Advanced Art Studio is an easy A for me, I'm an artsy kinda guy =P

Ok so summers unfortunately almost at an end, so lately I've been making the best of it.

Remember that great job I had? Well yesterday was my last day, despite how Ican work for another two weeks.it stinks because it was easy and I was making some good money...*sigh*

I saw District 9 and man, this movie is AWESOME. It surprised the hell outta me- I expected it to be typical sci-fi stuff but it was really something special. See it when you get the chance

And then theres games- I reserved and put down most of the cash for Modern Warfare 2. I got the special edition- not the ridiculous $140 night vision goggle one, but the "Hardened Edition". I have some cash left for the many expenses I had- I'm thinking of reserving Operation Flashpoint, which looks awesome. That or Assassins Creed 2- maybe even tekken 6 because I loooove fighting games. At the sae time I'm not a fan of paying full price, so I'll see what the future has in store for me and me making (any?) money to buy all those wonderful, overpriced disc of pure joy.

Another year and I'm now a legal adult. Holy s**t that was fast!!Gonna celebrate, I'll be gone for two weeks or so after this blog though- going to camp (where I'm an effing leader, and get paid to eat and go tubing ha!).

In the meantime I can finally say I've matured, and my life just goes so fast. I can't believe at this time next year I'll be off to college. Alright, enjoy your own lives guys! Keep blogging!

Oh, I think it's appropriate that I post this picture on here today

Since it's debut at E3 a large backlash hasbeen unleashed towards Valve's sequel. The main points being that it's "too soon" and "DLC was promised and we didn't get it!" or "theres hardly any improvements!!".

Ok. Time to shut you whiney bastards up- theres a freaking petition for this game not to be made, sites dedicating "anti L4D2" ,and last time I checked theres even a facebook group against Left4Dead2. I'm here to backup the dev team and tell you WHY the game isn't just another cheap cash in.

1.) The setting is unique, and different

L4D2 takes place in New Orleans and the swamp areas around it. Not only is this setting unique but it fits the feeling of dillapidation and destruction perfectly- what better a location than an outbreak of undead than one thats been terrorized alreadyby crime and one of the biggest natural disasters in U.S history (which, btw the city is still recovering from, the place still needs serious cleanup). It works. THe swamplands fit perfectly too, you rourdoor yet seem far more claustrophobic due to the boggy water, thick layers of trees, and destroyed swamp shacks- whcih all add to the eerie atmosphere. Another stupid argument is how the game is during the day at times? Why's this a big deal? Does every freakin' horror game have to be at night? It's not like zombies and the four survivors are nocturnal!

2.) Already, more weapons + weapon variety

My biggest gripe with the first Left4Dead was the lack of weapons and variety in them. I've already seen new weapons, which include silenced ones, and most important meleeweapons!

3.) The characters are "stereotype zombie faire"

WHile not necessarily horrible the 4 survivors in the first game were typical. You had the black guy, the chick, thetough guy, and the army vet. Left4Dead 2, so far has a a normal Tv technician, an agent,and two african american characters- both a young woman and a kinda fatguy. They fit the setting a LOT better and arent your average group.

4.) It has all the necessary improvements

In any sequel you expect some basic improvements- improved graphics, more options, new weapons, etc. Well L4D2 has em all- already! The game already LOOKS better with better lighting and textures, character models show more detail as well. And As I mentioned before the environments look better. And again, I mentioned before- more weapons, being there were so few in the last one. Don;t forget that there are new infected and catches to the gameplay- for example the witch now walks and doesen't stand in place (which I always thought was dumb and kind of slowed down the intensity) and the new infected help make the game more interesting.

So in the end I can say a big F U too all who are already bashing this game, it's pathetic and unnecessary- and before you label me as some "avid Valve fanboy" why don't you realize that I wasn't even a big fan of the first game?

Man, it's been almost a month since my last blog. I'm busy lately though. First off I started visiting colleges and what not so there have been stretches of days I haven't even been playing games. I visited UW Madison which is anawesome schoolbut I doubt I'll be accepted:/ . I then visited Chicago art academy ( I already forget the exact name, lol)which as of right now is looking really good because I would love living in the city and I can definitely afford/ get in the school. Then I went out east to visit some family in connecticut, I took one day of that trip to visit New York and there I went on a tour of Pratt University in Brookly- another great art school.

Okay enough school talk, it's summer dammit! Jobs going great, easy money, can't complain- manager didn't even care I had a mohawk for a day which was cool ( I had it for a concert I went too- my friends and I played dress up if you were wondering and we decided to be punks, haha). I think my xbox might actually be going down the crapper AGAIN so I think I'm gonna sell it and upgrade to an elite model before it takes one final dump. No new games but I FINALLY got a chance to play Prototype and it's a pretty sweet game. I reserved CoD: Modern Warfare 2 and Mass Effect 2 because I know they are going to be AMAZING. I'll work a little more and get some cash to pay those off, and then reserve Assassins Creed 2. I'm patiently waiting for Batman: Arkham Asylum but at the same time I am very worried- seems like the type of game that will be awesome and end WAY too early and have no replay value, which is complete CRAP because games are way too overpriced for you get nowadays.

Hey guys.

I was gone for a week and finally kicked off my summer. I spent the week with my mates in a huge cabin with plenty to do! Damn it was a good time!!! Boating, swimming, fishing, fire, checkin some women...man it was great.

Tommorow I'll also be starting my new and MUCH BETTER job. Best of all it's easy!! Sure it's early in the morning but I'll be working in a shipping warehouse. Basically I'll be loading big boxes into trucks for major department stores. $12 an hour for hard labor, about 3 hours a day mon-friday. JUST what I wanted!!

As for games..Gamestop had thiere "buy 2 get 1 free" used games deal and I took advantage. I bought Orange Box, Bioshock, and the original Call Of Juarez. I had previously played BioShock and Orange box but they're such good games, and under $20!! I beat Bioshock already, I'll play it on hard though. Orange Box is somethign I'll probably play and beat overtime, I love HalfLife 2 and TeamFortress though. But Call Of Juarez I got because I'm interested in the sequel (which is out this week) so I figured- why not? So far I think the game is sorta underappreciated, the graphics and mechanics are solid, and hey, Western games are few and far between.

Ok so I figured out how to edit/ colordrawings using photoshop. But I really need a scanner for my computer if I want to keep it up. On top of that I really want to get a drawingtablet. I'm a quality searcher so I need some GOOD equipment.

If anyone knows anything about this type of stuff please tell me. What brands are good, what are good prices etc
