will the world come to an end?
Will the world come to an end?? indeed it will! i cant believe dan doesnt think so! dan told me:- you are confused with the Early Testament. Check your facts and you will read that God made a pact with mankind to never again smite them as he did with the great floods and the plagues.well, i think the key word there wuld be "wit a flood". check ur facts too dan, God made no mention of plagues. be that as it may, wat do u think daniels banter was all about?........em i am referring to the book of daniel...remember? and wat do u think the bookof revelations was all about?... the end of the world! like it or not, or to be more precise, believe it or not, God will put out this world, and must, for He Himself has said He will do so.the cosmic order has been upset by our deeds and this cosmic order must be balanced. the first balancing has been carried out and it has given a ray of light, a chance to all. the second balancing must be carried out!tell me, why do you think God destroyed the world wit a flood? huh? do you really know why? i'd love to know what u think. but i'll tell you this, it had sumthin to do wit the sons of the Grigori. ravingclaw
stone of wolf
For some uncanny reason, the wolf happens to be my favourite beast. Now we all know how over the years the wolf has come to be known as a trecherous beast, a symbol of destructive evil which lurks in the shadow waiting for the right moment to strike! Nothing good has ever come out of the wolf, and as it is, nothing good will ever come forth from such a creature, a slayer of lambs. Not even the bible, the book that brings hope, spares the wolf! be that as it may, i find myself in more ways than one, similar to the wolf.
Of course, not that i scamper on all fours and give loud yelps under the moonlight, or not that i have recently acquired an appetite for lambs or even feel "tingles" under the sun ( please, i havent got any sort of porphyrias!). But, i find myself easily mistaken and quickly misjudged by fair means or foul, without being given a fair crack of the whip (in a manner of speaking). Yes believe it or not, we have created for ourselves the notions on the wolf. infact more bluntly or should i say more directly, the wolf has been misunderstood, and has been a subject of fustration so to say. I see in wolves what i see in every other animal including humans- the will to survive. Now we must take out time to ponder out why we are so much against the survival of these poor creatures. What actually has been the sin of the wolf- preying on our beloved sheep! Must we humans bear down so hard on them, despite the fact we seized most of their hunting land and left them no choice, low as their i.q may be, but to spread across new virgin lands created by us men and laden with sheep! As a matter of fact, wolf legends (that would be legends according to wolves!) must, and i daresay most definately MUST have held we humans in high esteem for granting so much sheep to them! (em....remember the i.q thing?). No doubt, they must have been a scourge to our sheep, inevitably making them a scourge to us........bah! How selfish, how materialistic, little wonder God wants to have this world destroyed!...........apparenly, killing these poor creatures who jus want to survive wasnt enough for us! We went ahead and built various "myths" about and around them ....imagine! I am most defintely not about to go into that least i lose my temper!
Fortunately, there have been those who have thought likely about the wolf. prominent amongst these men is Rudyard Kipling, who in his tale - The Jungle Book, thought it best a wolf be the benefactor of the "mancub". Putting to shame all ye who have made a repute of putting the wolf in pale light!
The bottomline is this; wolves are not what we think they are. And if we can put up with their relatives- the dog, and even tag them "man's best fren", then we might as well put up woth their brethren the wolf.
As for me, i stand herein as a stone of wolf. ravingclaw.

very difficult for me to say, but this IS TRULY an awful album. Audioslave has progressively dropped since their first album. they seem to be living on past glory. very sad it is, still, true it is. a 2.5 if you guys were newbies. but based on the pedigree; 3.0

lovely album, but it kinda begins to lack th energy after the third track. looks like he burns himself out a lil too soon. tries to make a come back in the last two tracks, but it's not as good. in all, the first three tracks, will really get you started. it'll pump you with enough adrenalin to take you through the drab sessions. good album.

if anyone thinks Green's absence left a gaping hole in the band, well think again. the new volcalist is jus as talented, though i must say, it bcomes tempting to think that Green wulda made a total difference. the drummer is great, and he keeps the tracks hanging. this album, is a must buy!

the thrid installment and MArs sill looks strong. it's no doubt that 'visera eyes' is a master piece. talk about Fela coming alive with a Coheed assist! the album opens up beautifully, and prepares you for a dive into the farthest depths of emo-prog. for me, it's a sizzling experience, one i think everyone should try out. believe me if you think you are good enough to take a dip in the world of rock, try this album out. it'll teach you loads of stuff.
two thumbs way up.
