Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I have been busy with work and enjoying my high speed internet again....lord i am addicted.

Anyway I hope everyone is ok. Hondo has a nasty nasty hot spot on his back. Just when it looks like it is starting to heal, it gets icky again. Might have to shave around it tomorrow so it can heal properly...nothing like a bald - butted GSD.

I could never go back to dial up!Especially on this site when it runs wonky.
Hope your Hondo does better shaved. I hate putting the fur kids on prednisone so I always opt for the homeopathic means for the first try. I used just plain old over the counter Benedryl cream with moderate success on my dogs in the past.

Yeah i don't want to risk any liver/kidney damage. Whenever renno has had them in the past, if i shaved the area...boom they cleared up in no time..i figure he will do the same. what other methods do you use besides the benadryl cream?

Hi Arsena. I have high speed Internet and couldn't use dial-up. Also I hope Hondo gets better and you don't have to shave his back.

well the spot dried up some...and the hair is over it today...so maybe i wont have to (knock on wood). i know its you all's thoughts for him that helped : D
