What's hidden behind her singing voice?
Rejection.
This is one of my favorites because... i remember my own love life and how i was struck dumb when my lover left me hanging.
We had something but maybe it wasn't enough.
My friends said i'd get over it... maybe i am but... i can't say goodbye.
How can you say goodbye... when you didn't even say "hello"?
You can't lose something... you never had in the first place.
Connection?
Nothing really.

Ashlee Simpson... though has a rocker sense... has a pop instinct and sings with her heart.
The first song i heard from her was... "Pieces of Me".
After hearing and seeing her MTV... i wanted to buy her CD.
I liked her appearance and... though she dyed her hair... she looks hot.
When i bought her CD "Autobiography"... she looked troubled on the cover... and it really hit me... that this girl has green eyes.
Though her voice has a hint of masculinity... her spirit is totally feme.
I was really amazed to know from one of my friends that she's a sister to Jessica Simpson.
With her realation to Jessica... prompted her to release her song "Shadow"... being overshadowed by her popular sister and always second-best.
But... she's not second-best.
She's an amazing girl and a great singer... equaling that of Avril Lavigne.
Truly an heir...

One of my favorites in my CD collection.
Her very first album release... "Let Go".
The first time i saw the cover while CD shopping... i thought to myself... "Great... another Britney wannabe." but that wasn't the case.
I was proved wrong.
The first track... "Losing Grip" really blew me away!
I really loved her songs especially "Things I'll Never Say".
What really made me impressed in her was the fact that all her songs were written by her.
Who would have thought this rocker wrote the lyrics to her songs...
Though rock music was my first impression... there are some songs that really grab your attention like... "I'm With You".
I was impressed with her song... "My World" because it says that she's very imaginative and... though bored with her life... finds a way out of boredom. She's creative in a rocker sense.
All in all... the songs were terrific and it can be said... that it's innosence in a rocker's point of view.

She's saying that she was hurt bad and she's seeking help.
But what's strange is... she's asking help from the persong that caused her pain.
Why?
For me... there is a psychological explanation.
She's giving that person another chance.
Her voice is full of anger but... there is forgiveness.

For me... its her lyrics and her message hidden within the songs.
She rocks! She writes her own lyrics but sometines... she has some help.
Her voice is unbelievable. Who would think that a voice like that sings rock and unbelievably enough... hearing her songs... it seems she's been through a lot!
Her songs are full of anger... angst... determination... love... and hidden deep within... is hope.
Just listen to "Slipped Away". There is sadness in her voice. Why wouldn't it be? It's dedicated to her grandfather who passed away... thus the title.
Her lyrics are unbelievable and it came directly from her heart.
