#4 Master Chief

Master Chief is the main protagonist in all three Halo installments. He is the last Spartan-II. All of the others were killed in a Covenant bombardment of their home planet, Reach. In the games, Master Chief never speaks during player-controlled gameplay, making him an almost silent protagonist. Even during cutscenes, the character generally speaks sparingly.

Entirely encased in heavy armor and standing seven feet tall, the Chief inspires awe and terror in friends and foes alike. Despite his cold exterior, Master Chief cares about his fellow soldiers, especially the Spartan-IIs with whom he has trained.

Despite the Master Chief's excellent combat record, many in the United Nations Space Command (UNSC), the military unit to which he belongs, distrust him. Antonio Silva, an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, exemplifies this attitude, and considers the Master Chief the freak product of an experiment that should never be repeated. Although the Chief resents Silva's dishonor to his fallen comrades' memory, he is also loyal to the chain of command, and remains quiet.

In the video games, the Master Chief is never seen without his armor. In-game cutscenes tease the character's face, but never reveal it; for example, at the end of Halo: Combat Evolved, the Chief removes his helmet, but camera movement hides his head. The only physical description of the Master Chief comes from the novels. During a briefing scene in Halo: The Flood, the Chief is described as tall with short hair, serious eyes, and strong features. His skin is "too white", a consequence of spending most of his time in his armor.

#5 Cloud

Cloud Strife is the main character in both Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. An arrogant swordsman at first, Cloud must come to terms with the fact his memories are false and rediscover who he truly is. In a theme that has carried over to many of his other appearances since Final Fantasy VII, Cloud attempts to leave his dark and tortured past behind. His arch rival Sephiroth, having killed many of Cloud's friends, is the metaphorical embodiment of Cloud's dark memories, and the two have done battle several times to finish their conflict.

Despite the dark feelings he may have, Cloud remains steadfastly loyal and true to those he cares about and is always driven to protect them, even going as far as to hide his pain and emotions so he could not worry them. Ultimately, it is his selfless and kind nature that gives him the ability to overcome Sephiroth time and again.

He also has a lighter side, willingly deciding to cross-dress as a woman for a special mission at one point in Final Fantasy VII. He also has a dry, ironic wit in Dirge of Cerberus, when he cracks a joke with some of his allies. Overall, while he has a rather moody demeanor, his personality is not as brooding as that of Vincent Valentine, and does have a sense of humor when in a lighter mood.

He also appears in Dissidia Final Fantasy on the side of Cosmos and also Kingdom hearts series.

#7 Sonic

Sonic the Hedgehog is one of the world's most famous video game characters. He is known as the world's fastest hedgehog. Sonic's greatest strength is his running speed, which is faster than the speed of sound. Many of his abilities are variations on the tendency for hedgehogs to roll into tight balls for protection with the addition of spinning his body.

Sonic's weakness is that he can't swim, sinking like a rock if plunged to a deep body of water. However, he can overcome said weakness by running on the surface of water. Sonic can also roll into a ball to smash through objects, defeat enemies, and crack open discarded computer monitors to obtain bonuses and items. His spin charge attack allows him to build up power and speed.

When Sonic collects all 7 Chaos Emeralds he transforms into 'Super Sonic' a faster golden Hedgehog with invulnerability and the ability to fly.

#8 Sephiroth

Sephiroth is the main antagonist of Final Fantasy VII, and one of the major villains of its extended universe. A prototype SOLDIER and the strongest alive, Sephiroth is initially revered for his strength and hailed as a hero, until he learns and misinterprets his origins. Believing himself as the last of the Ancients, Sephiroth enacts a vendetta against mankind, with the ultimate goal of becoming a god and controlling the planet. Sephiroth's goals later include defeating Cloud Strife, who has consistently foiled his plans. To this end, Sephiroth is frequently depicted as Cloud's archnemesis.

Sephiroth is arguably the most popular villain of the Final Fantasy series. Sephiroth, in all his appearances, wears a long black coat with silver pauldrons, black boots, and black clothing underneath. The top of his clothing underneath his uniform is split to reveal his chest, covered by crossing leather straps. His hair is long and silver, a sharp contrast to Cloud Strife's blond spikes, with his bangs parted to either side of his face. Beyond his clothing and hair, Sephiroth is known for his green cat-like eyes and the Masamune, his seven-foot long katana that he is rarely seen without. Sephiroth's typical battle stance with the sword is to hold it over his left shoulder, and he usually wields the Masamune two-handed, presumably to increase the force of his strikes as he is capable of using it with one hand. In later appearances he has a single black wing emerging from his right shoulder.

Sephiroth's personality is one of cold ruthlessness. Prior to his madness, he was not particularly anti-social, as he has friends in Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII and willingly tells Zack and Tifa about Mako and Materia on Mt. Nibel. All the same, his cold exterior and professional attitude turn people away. He is very intelligent, and is respectful to those he deems worthy - he considered Professor Gast a great scientist, but looked down on Professor Hojo and described him as "a walking mass of complexes". Sephiroth is confident to the point of arrogance, but as the strongest SOLDIER alive it could easily be argued he has the right to be. Well-spoken and somewhat graceful, Sephiroth is universally calm, collected, and in control. He can be frustrated and caught off his guard, but this rarely happens.

Besides Final Fantasy VII, Before Crisis, Crisis Core, and Advent Children, he also appears in Dissidia Final Fantasy on the side of Chaos and Kingdom Hearts series as an optional boss.

#10 Zack Fair

Zack Fair is a non-player character from Final Fantasy VII and the main protagonist of its prequel, Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII. The wielder of the Buster Sword before Cloud, Zack received the Buster Sword from his predecessor Angeal. Zack is a 1st clas$ SOLDIER and is Cloud's best friend during their time working for Shinra. However, after Sephiroth goes insane, they become test subjects to Professor Hojo, and Zack ultimately sacrifices himself to save Cloud's life. He is also Aerith Gainsborough's former boyfriend.

Zack acts as the protagonist of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. He works as a subordinate under his close friend and mentor Angeal Hewley.Through various events, Zack falls in love with Aerith and befriends Cloud, Tseng, Cissnei, and Sephiroth. Zack is assigned to accompany Sephiroth and two grunts, one being Cloud, on a mission to Nibelheim to find the cause of a Mako reactor malfunction. While there, Sephiroth discovers his supposed origins and goes insane. Both Zack and Cloud engage him in battle, and Sephiroth is eventually thrown into the Mako reactor by Cloud. However, Zack and Cloud are too injured to continue on, and taken by Hojo for experimentation. After being experimented on for four years, Zack escapes with Cloud and begins a journey to Midgar. On their way, Zack is intercepted by Shinra armed forces. Zack is shot continually in the chest by a soldier. While dying, Zack gives the Buster Sword to Cloud, telling him to live out his own life as well as Zack's, that Cloud is his living legacy. As Cloud stumbles off towards Midgar, Zack is pulled into the lifestream by Angeal, and wonders if he had become a hero.

In Final Fantasy VII, Zack only appears in flashback sequences, which portray him as almost identical to Cloud Strife in physical appearance except having black hair. When strung together, the sequences explain a great deal about Cloud's past and his connection to Sephiroth, the game's arch-villain.

#11 Sam Fisher

Sam Fisher is a veteran of a hundred silent wars. He has been one of the most experienced field agents in the U.S. Intelligence network. He was a member of the U.S. Navy SEALs and the CIA before. Fisher is an expert in stealth tactics and proficient in both armed and unarmed combat. He operates almost exclusively at night and always works alone in the field. He can speak a startling number of foreign languages including Russian, Korean, Arabic, Chinese, Persian and Spanish.

Personality-wise, Fisher is abrasive and honest, and has little patience for niceties and even less for lies, especially when the immediate problem presents itself. He is quiet, instinctive, and observant, somebody who watches from the outside. Unlike younger agents, he is not a blind idealist, only taking to task if the cause is just and within reason.

Though fully aware and confident of his abilities, Fisher understands that his survival has often been a gift of chance. He knows he is human and fallible, and he does not want to die. He has a strange and slightly dark sense of humor. Constant training have defined his adult life. His tactical experience has become part of his instincts. Now, even outside of work he is most comfortable on the fringes of society, keenly observant but still removed.

But in order to achieve the discipline necessary for his work, Fisher has had to bury certain parts of himself. His ability to detach himself emotionally from the immediate situation in order to better achieve his goals is a prized skill. A man of few words, he is truly himself only when he is on the job – he has, in a sense, become what he does. He has acquired an admirable collection of scars and secured his place in Valhalla, and he has little left to prove to the world. Now older and wiser, he has no interest in glory. If he fights, it is because he believes the cause is necessary and he is capable of provoking positive change.

#12 Gray Fox

Gray Fox, formerly known as Null, was the codename of FOXHOUND agent Frank Jaeger. He was the only active field agent of FOXHOUND to achieve the Fox codename, FOXHOUND's highest commemoration. He was decorated five times. Fox was Solid Snake's war buddy and best friend after Operation Intrude N313, but Fox's loyalty to Big Boss, forced him to betray Snake during the Zanzibar Land Uprising. He survived his injuries during his battle with Snake and was outfitted with a powered exoskeleton and given intense gene therapy. He confronted Snake as a neutral force in Shadow Moses before dying at the hands of Liquid Snake.

Gray Fox first appears in the original Metal Gear who goes missing during a mission prior to the events of the game, his last transmission being a cryptic message simply saying "Metal Gear". Solid Snake's initial objective in the game is to rescue Gray Fox, who reveals the true nature of Metal Gear to the player.

Fox returns in Metal Gear 2, having left FOXHOUND and defected to Zanzibar Land to join Big Boss' side. Fox pilots the new Metal Gear model, Metal Gear D, and confronts Snake a few times, while secretly assisting him as an anonymous informant. Snake destroys Metal Gear D and ends up being challenged by Fox to a fistfight in the middle of a minefield.

In Metal Gear Solid, Gray Fox appears under the identity of the Cyborg Ninja, an assassin in a powered exoskeleton and armed with a high-frequency blade, who challenges Solid Snake to a fist fight, even though his ultimate goal is to help him. He also provides Snake cryptic advice via CODEC as a faceless contact named Deepthroat. Gray Fox is later killed by Liquid Snake, piloting Metal Gear REX, after Fox destroys the vehicle's radome with the use of a prototype rail gun attached to his arm.

#13 Jin Kazama

Jin Kazama is the current protagonist of the Tekken series, and has been featured in every Tekken game since his creation. He is a Japanese male with black hair that is spiked upwards. Jin's hairstyl3 appears to be a mixture of Kazuya's hairstyl3 and Jun Kazama's bangs (fringes). Jin has a black mark on one of his arms, which Devil has branded onto him.

Jin is related to many key characters in the series. He is the son of Kazuya Mishima and Jun Kazama, and grandson of Heihachi Mishima. He is also the great grandson of Jinpachi Mishima (Tekken 5 and Tekken: Dark Resurrection as the final boss), and also the cousin of Asuka Kazama, although the two don't seem to be aware of their relation.

During The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2 (Tekken 2), Kazuya and Jun crossed paths and were intimate. Jun found herself pregnant with Jin immediately afterwards. The Devil that possessed Kazuya attempted to enter Jin while he was still in his mother's womb, but Jun defeated it. Wishing to raise her son alone, Jun disappeared into a remote mountain location, where she raised Jin and trained him in her Kazama-styl3self-defense fighting styl3. After many years, Jun sensed the approaching of a great evil (Ogre) and told Jin that if anything happened to her, that he should seek his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima. Jun's words proved to be prophetic, and some time after Jin's 15th birthday, Jun was attacked by Ogre. Some time later, Jin awoke amongst rubble and searched for his mother, but he could not find her anywhere. Jin swore revenge.

#14 Zidane

Zidane Tribal is the protagonist of Final Fantasy IX. Playful and flirtatious, Zidane displays little of the sullenness associated with previous Final Fantasy protagonists Cloud Strife and Squall Leonhart . He is shown to be a skirt-chaser, constantly flirting with Princess Garnet as well as other females. Zidane also gives advice to the party members at multiple times on several aspects of life, and is overall laid-back and casual in his actions and speech patterns. Though he is highly confident in his abilities, Zidane harbors some insecurities about his past and possible loneliness, though he doesn't often express them. Through out the game Zidane starts gaining true feelings for Garnet.

Zidane has shoulder-length blonde hair tied with a ponytail and a prehensile monkey-like tail, as witnessed in game when Zidane hangs from his tail to evade Steiner. In trance form Zidane's hair becomes longer, and his clothing is replaced with thick fur covering his body. It is not revealed whether or not he has fur under his clothing when not in trance form. Zidane is identified as a thief.

Zidane began his life as an "Angel of Death" as a Genome on the planet Terra, having been created by a being named Garland. Due to circumstances, he was cast down to Gaia, and was adopted by Baku. He left home at an early age, becoming a drifter, a thief, and a womanizer.

During the events in the game, Zidane slowly falls in love with Princess Garnet. Though he is separated from her near the end, there is a joyful reunion in the closing part of the game.

Zidane is the hero representing Final Fantasy IX in Dissidia: Final Fantasy.

#15 Ryu

Ryu is a martial-artist and is the most recognized character in the Street Fighter franchise. Along with his best friend Ken participating in the Street Fighter tournament. Both Ryu and Ken are practitioners of a nameless martial art, which incorporates the most violent techniques from a blend of four martial arts. Ryu is a pretty simple guy. He wears the same outfit wherever he goes – white gi, black belt, red headband, and he has the same aim wherever he goes as well. He wants to fight whoever he thinks can make him a stronger fighter.

Ryu has been the lead character of the Street Fighter series since the first game and has appeared in crossovers involving the franchise. He has been featured in Capcom's inter-company crossovers such as the Marvel vs. Capcom series, the SNK vs. Capcom series, Namco x Capcom and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars. He is also featured in manga from the series, anime adaptations and the 1994 live-action film.

#16 Squall Leonhart

After two and a half months since the last character, its finally here again, my 30 fav characters.. enjoy!

Squall Leonhart is the main playable protagonist of Final Fantasy VIII. Squall is 17 years old, although acts much beyond his age. He is one of few specialists in handling the Gunblade, a gun-sword hybrid weapon. He is often haunted by the painful memories of his past, but conceals them deep within, putting on a brave and taciturn face in his daily life.

Squall Leonhart is a loner by nature, and believes that people should rely only on themselves. Orphaned at an early age, Squall transferred to the Military Academy of Balamb Garden as a youngster and excelled in combat. Despite being calm and level-headed, Squall can not tolerate fellow student and rival Seifer Almasy, and tends to lose his composure around the arrogant young man. While having all the capabilities needed to lead, Squall tends to reject the role of a leader wherever he can. While many in Garden look upon Squall with admiration and respect, he disregards them, choosing to live his life wholly independently. A slave to his duty, rather than to his heart, Squall never veers from the guidelines, but after a series of events, discoveries and new friendships, Squall may be ready to open up.

At the beginning of Final Fantasy VIII, Squall is known as a "lone wolf" by his peers because he never shows his feelings and even comes off as cold to his allies. His superiors, such as his teacher, Quistis Trepe, consider him difficult to deal with but greatly respect his natural talents. He is also known to be stoic in many situations. His taciturn attitude is also used for comic relief. In the cutscene where he first meets Rinoa, she coerces him into dancing with her at the SeeD graduation ball. He awkwardly bumps into other party-goers while staring constantly at his feet with a look of confusion. Rinoa, however, perseveres in partnering him, and Squall eventually reveals that he's quite capable of dancing, as it is a mandatory aspect of his training.

Squall appeared in the game series Kingdom Hearts, now a broken and bitter man, he assumed the name of Leon. He is one of the main supporting characters in Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 and a has a large part in the storyline. He says he will contine to go by the name Leon until he is sure the heartless have been defeated and he can start to live is old life again.

He appears in the Kingdom Hearts games older than he was in Final Fantasy VIII (age 26 in KHII) He wears a leather jacket with red wings on the back, similar to Rinoa's. He also still wears his Griever necklace and still has the scar given to him by his rival Seifer.

Fun Vacation

As you all know that i'm just back from my vacation, i'm gonna tell you how was my vacation in Australia. I also make this blog to motivate myself. I want to go there again to continue my second degree, its probably about 4 years from now cause i just start my college on september 09. So someday 4 years later from now, i'm gonna see this blog again and say 'hey its just like yesterday i was there, and now i'm here again in Aussie'

Ok now we're off to Aussie!

August 5th, i'm off from my home with my family. Actually we went to Bali first. In case you dont know what Bali is, its a 'Paradise island' in my country. It just like Hawaii in US. So it took 2 hours to go there by plane. I stayed there for 2 days. Nothing really impressed me, although its my first time to go here. It looked the same to the place where i used to live except for the beaches, yea lots of beach you can see here. So me and my family go to one of the beaches to enjoy the sunset..

So peacefull and beautifull..

I can only enjoy the sunset beacause i cant swim . All i can say is this beach is really beautiful, its the right place if you want to spent your time with someone really special..
Ok two days in Bali and that was the most memorable moment that i can remember, so now we're off to our real destination, Australia!

It took about 6 hours from Bali to reach this country. We've got a midnight flight at 12 am. I enjoyed the flight, the movie was suck so i just slept right after take off till morning . So we reached our destination, sydney, at 8am. One thing i can feel that i'm in Aussie that.. the cold. It is really cold, its winter season now, so its about 9-10 C here in Sydney. For me who lives in a place with 30 C almost all the time, its really cold.. So, my mom's friends who picked us in the airport. They would accompany us for next 8 days. But we were not stayed in Sydned for now, but at mom's friend housefor a day.. a bit dissapointed because i wanted to explore Sydney asap but what could i say..

So from Sydney to my mom's friends's house took about 2 hours. The place they lived was called Nowra. I mostly saw grassland along the trip, but i kinda enjoyed it because it was something i couldn't see in the place where i used to live. And i can see many kangaroos along the trip! They're cute but too shy to human so i can't touch them

look at the most left of the pic, its kangaroos!... i think..

a day after that, based on my mom's plan* yea she organized all the places we visited here..*we're off to Canberra, the capital city of Australia!

When you go to the capital city of a country, you might be thinking about crowded place with cars and pollution everywhere, but here in Canberra you were totally wrong about that. This city was just like... a dead city. Yea there's not many people here and not many place to visit.. its dissapointed me a lot tho..
And we stayed in Canberra for 3 days in apartment. Its even colder here, about 2-3C in the morning! i'm freezing..
The only place that we can visi there is the Parliament house, because it was the most famous place in Canberra. So what did we doin Canberra in 3 days?

Well its not like there are no other places we can visit in Canberra because there IS a really interesting place here. But its not in the city, its a place which took two hours from Canberra called Snowy mountain. Yea a mountain, and just like its name, theres snow on top of it! YaY XD. I'm so excited because its my first time to see andtouch snow lol
I played snowboard.. It harder than i thought, i fell a few times . I also tried the 'sliding board' or whatever the name. You have to climb up the top of small hill and from there you ride the board on and slide... weeee
Sounds childish but its fun

snowy mountain, ski and snowboard area

Well... thats all the most memorable place that i can remember in Canberra. And after that, finally, we're off to Sydney again!

Took about 5-6 hours from Canberra and finally we're back to Sydney. This place is way more crowded and way more lively than Canberra. We stayed here for 3 days in hotel. I expected a free wi-fi connection here to visit you all but no..
I have to pay $5 to get the connection for only a half hour! What the...? so just forget about it..
So what did we do in Sydney? There are many places to visit here, Opera house, Bondi beach, Darling harbour, umm.. whatever harbour.. because therea are many harbour here and we visited almost all of them.
The most interesting place is of course Opera house

Sydney is just impressive! This city is very clean and very well organized. I also liked to travel everywhere by train. You have to pay a few dollars and you can go everywhere you want around the city by the ticket you bought for a day.
And in the last day in Sydney we tried to travel by ferry. We set sail from the harbour near Opera house at night.
The trip took about 45 minutes to reach our destination and 45 more minutes to go back to the harbour.

Opera house at night, took the pic from the ferry

And thats it! Next day we back home again..
I know its kinda boring to read the blog about other people's vacation
Well for you all who have read my blog, thank you very much and c'ya !

#17 Leon S Kennedy

Leon Scott Kennedy makes his first appearance as one of the two protagonists in Resident Evil 2. Leon is a recently-hired police officer for the Raccoon Police Department. He arrives late to Raccoon City and finds the town already overrun by zombies. He works with Claire Redfield and attempts to escape the city alive. He is partnered with Ada Wong, a woman claiming to be looking for her missing boyfriend. His attempt to find an escape route leads him to Umbrella's underground laboratory, where he confronts several of Umbrella's mutant creatures.

The epilogues of Resident Evil 3 reveals that Leon made an undisclosed deal with a representative of the US government for Sherry's safety. In Resident Evil: Survivor, the game's protagonist, Ark Thompson, goes to Sheena Island at the request of Leon. In Code: Veronica, Claire gets in touch with Leon when she is trapped on Rockfort Island, and Leon relays her whereabouts to Chris Redfield. Leon also appears in Resident Evil: Gaiden.

Leon returns as the protagonist of Resident Evil 4. He has become a special agent for the US government, and is assigned to rescue the newly-elected President's daughter, Ashley Graham, who is being held somewhere in Europe. Her kidnappers turn out to be part of a cult known as Los Illuminados, which has taken control of the local villagers with parasites known as Las Plagas. Leon teams up once again with Ada Wong, and Luis Sera, a former researcher for Osmund Saddler, leader of the cult.

Leon will appear in Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles. He once again teams up with Claire Redfield in the film Resident Evil: Degeneration in order to stop another outbreak of the T-virus.

#18 Chrono

is the silent protagonist in Chrono Trigger. He lives with his mother in the town of Truce under the rule of the Guardia Kingdom.

In 12000 BC when the party is confronted with Lavos in the Ocean Palace of the Kingdom of Zeal, he sacrifices himself to save his friends, though he can be revived. While the other six playable characters have many lines of dialogue, Crono's responses to events are usually implied only through reaction and gesture, often for comedic effect. Crono speaks once in one of the endings to Chrono Trigger, saying just a few lines of dialogue. He uses a katana as a weapon and once he obtains magical ability, his Techs become lightning-oriented.

Although Chrono is silent protagonist, there are some points where he's shown to have romantic feelings for Marle. At one point where he's knocked out, he has a dream where Marle is his wife. The PlayStation and DS versions of Chrono Trigger include an FMV scene at the end that shows Crono and Marle getting married. While a second FMV depicts the fall of Guardia Kingdom in 1005 AD, it is unknown what happened to Crono during this event. In the sequel, Chrono Cross, Crono makes an appearance alongside Marle and Lucca as apparitions of themselves as ghost children.

One of the largest elements about Crono's character is that he is not a bombastic show off, but is a humble, calculating person. Crono says little throughout the entirety of Chrono Trigger, instead he uses actions create his reputation. In addition to these most heroic of characteristics, Crono relies on himself and his friends. Throughout the journey, Crono seems willing and able to sacrifice his own well being for the good of his friends and for the assurance that they will not fail their mission.

Unable to allow his friends well being or the outcome of mission to be jeopardized, Crono relies on his own wits throughout the game. This is the reason that he uses the traditional katana, no matter what time period he is exploring, even though modern weaponry is at his disposal.
