Sapphire and Doug
For the first bit of news I started to replay an older Pokemon game. The one I chose is Pokemon Sapphire.

I have actually never beaten this game before. I decided that I would add some challenge to my playthrough so I thought I would beat the game only using fire pokemon. The current team members are Combusken, Numel, Slugma, and Torkoal. So far I've invested about 7 hours in the game.
Cartoons I Loved:
What great memories, I wish this show was still on. The show had great characters like Skeeter( who had blue skin, wierd), Patti, and Roger. I also remember the song "Bangin on a trash can". I always thought Doug's dog Porkchop was so cool, I wanted him to be my dog. There was also Doug's sister Judy is was a bit odd.
Currently Reading Manga:
Naruto- Ch 333
Bleach- Ch 201
One Piece- Ch 96
Thunderstorm, Bomberman Hero, Rush 2
Best part of work today was when we had this thunderstorm come through at the end of the day. It was fun to watch all the lightning around us. The storm also made the temperature cooler outside, before it came it had been really hot and humid. It was pouring rain outside so I got to sit in the car for awhile. Overall a nice way to end the day because all the visitors left on time due to the weather.
Also anyone remember playing the game Bomberman Hero for the Nintendo 64? I still got the game and play it on occasion. I know when people reviewed it the score wasn't as good as other Bomberman games on the system. But I still had countless hours of fun with the game. I liked how there were so many levels that you could play. I don't think I ended up beating the game though.
What about the game Rush 2 for Nintendo 64? Has anyone played that game. Its a car racing game from the late 1990's. My favorite part of the game was always the stunt level where you didn't race but went off different structures and got points for all the flips and rolls you did in the air. I also thought it was cool how you could customize your car a lot in the game by changing the color, the wheels, and even the horn.
Level 18 and Platinum News
First off I finally made it to Level 18. I wasn't expecting to reach the next level today so it was a nice surprise when I came to the website. I think its cooler than the previous level I was on.
Some other good news is that I finally beat the Elite Four and the Champion in Pokemon Platinum. This made me so happy since it was about my fifth time trying to beat them all. The Pokemon team I used consisted of Empoleon, Houndoom, Giratina, Roserade, Staraptor, and Luxray. The first couple times I faced the Elite Four I didn't have Giratina in my team, but a few days ago I thought I would raise the Giratina I caught up a few levels and include it. I'm glad I decided that since it helped a lot in winning. I'm glad I took the time and prepared for this latest attempt by raising all my pokemon up some levels by battling in Victory Road. The team member with the highest level is Empoleon.
After that I checked and found out there were three pokemon I had to encounter in order to complete the Sinnoh Dex. This was important since once I saw these three I can get the upgrade to the National Pokedex. The first one I encountered was Uxie who I was able to catch with a Dusk Ball. The second pokemon left was Manaphy which I had to read a book in a house in order to add it. Then there was Rotom which was in the Old Chateau located in Eterna Forest. I managed to catch it using an Ultra Ball. That's all I did for tonight so next I'm going to Stark Mountain to continue my adventure. I'll probably start that tomorrow after work.
Gran Torino, Diddy Kong Racing
Last night I saw a movie that I enjoyed very much. It was called Gran Torino and it starred Clint Eastwood. It didn't come out too long ago. My parents had bought it on DVD and I thought I would watch it along with them. I would say this is my favorite movie that I have ever seen Clint Eastwood in. He did a fantastic job through the whole movie. There were some sad parts in the film mainly towards the end but not that many overall. Also the ending I found very surprising. I definately would like to see this movie many more times.
Also who has played this sweet game for the N64?

The game came out over ten years ago but I still have a blast playing it. You could race in a car, hovercraft, or airplane. The one I enjoyed using the most was the airplane. My favorite characters to play as were Conker, Banjo, and Tiptup. I liked how you got balloons after getting first place in a race and the more balloons you get the more courses you can unlock. It was also cool how they had that coin challenge where you had to not only place first in the race but also collect coins scattered throughout the level.
Mitsuwa, Dinner, Trunks
One exciting thing happening today is that in a few hours my dad and I are going to this place called Mitsuwa that is nearby. This place has a whole bunch of different Japanese stores together. There is one area where there is a grocery store and a variety of food stands where they sell lots of Japanese food that you don't see often at other places. My favorite store to go to is the bookstore where they have books and magazines both in english and japanese. They have the largest manga collection out of any place I've been to. Another cool store is one that sells DVD's, and of course they have many different anime series. There's also a hobby store where they feature different kinds of action figures and models.
Another thing I'm looking foward to is possibly going out to dinner with my uncle and grandpa tonight. My uncle said he might take the whole family out for a nice meal. I hope we go to a german restaurant or maybe a mexican one, I love stuff like tamales and quesidillas.
