So since I haven't been on here in a while and I currently only have 4 friends on tvcom I don't expect anyone to read this for a while. But I don't care because I right for the heck of it because it's so darn fun. Plus, for anyone who does happen to wander by I thought it would be nice to have a current update so they know I'm around and can get to know me a little.

In order for you to understand what I'm going to tell you I'll have to give a little background.

Back in 2005 my family was getting a free 3 month tryle of cable. My dad never paid for cable my entire life. We were shocked (my sibs and I) that he would even agree to free cable. Needless to say, we watched a ton of cable and that mainly consisted of Nickelodeon, Disney, and Cartoon Network. Just as our subscription for cable was about to expire Avatar: The last airbender aired for the first time. I saw the first two episodes, but our cable ended and I never saw avatar again. o__o

Fast forward two years and a few months later and it's thanks-giving weekend. I was house-sitting for my friends and they have Nicktoons so I immediately fell in-love with the channel and had it on constantly when I got there, lol. I bet I would have watched it more if it weren't for the 2 boarder collies I was taking care of.

Aangs-giving weekend was on and I again watched the first two episodes of the series. I thought there might be something to this avatar show, and so I kept it in mind. Later, after I'd missed a bunch of episodes, I watched The Fortuneteller and immediately I loved the series and knew I had to watch all of it! It took me 5 days (or less) to watch all 61 episode. o__O I surprised myself. I'm a sucker for romance so when I saw the Fortuneteller it sucked me in, Katara and Aang are both a couple of my favorite characters of all time now.

Anyway, now I am an incredibly loyal fan to this series and I'll be shocked if I ever find anything anywhere near as good. I think I write too much. No one's gunna want to read this 'cause it's too long!

I'm working on learning to draw the avatar characters. I drew Aang from memory in history class and it wasn't half bad. It wasn't half good either. I still have a lot of work to do.

Well since this is TV.com and not movie.com I haven't been able to talk about my favorite movies at all and so I thought I would put down a list of what might be my top 10. I say, "what might be" beacuse my top 10 is always changing and I always think of a movie that I forgot later. So here they are:

So Those aren't nesissarily in order and I have lots of other favorites, but those are some of them, and some of my top favorites.

So I just realized that most of the ratings I've given are 10s. I guess I need to think about them a little bit more. But it's mainly because I've only rated things I really like so far. I'll soon start rating things I don't like too.

his realization also points to a conclusion I've made about this site. It is definitely a useful site with tons of info and all, but at the same time a majority of the ratings based on people's opinions are going to be extreme. By this I mean that they are going to be extremely low ratings or extremely high. This is just the nature of people. The shows that we only mildly cared about or mildly disliked we just forgot about so of course we never think to rate them. This is why people are paid to rate movies. For a job as a critic the person has to watch all of the movies and rate all of them or else they won't get paid.

I'm not saying this is a bad site. On the contrary,I really enjoy this site and it does have a ton of useful info on it. There are people that prove my theory wrong too. People that rate everything, or at least most everything. I myself am going to be rating everything just to keep things in balance. In this way when you look at show ratings you will get a more realistic and accrate view of what people think of each show. I encourage all of you to rate all of the shows you've seen, not just the ones you loved or hated.
