Jem is the type of artist that can really make the words flow, and make you feel what she feels. It begins out different sides of people, and that is one of her positive attributes. But if anyone were to listen to the whole album, you can go from a heart felt, sad song.... to a upbeat, happy song. That is exactly the one thing that makes people not refer this CD to there friends. It is just something that they should of fixed when they were in the production phase. Something that all of us fans will have to get over.

I bought his album, and listened to the first 6 songs, and thought.... WOW! he was so deep, and thoughful. Anyone that could write a song like that, put it on a CD, and cell it to the world, must be a very brave person. the songs sound like his is really singing from is heart, and is rare now a days. all the other 'Artists' just sing what they wrote on paper and never put in the feelings. James goes to the feelings, and it is great to know there are other people out there that feel just like i do. That is why i know that James will be around for a while.

I first heard the song a while ago. It was very different, and i loved it. Then the radio station decied not to play it for a long while, then about a month ago, they started playing it again. Now they play it daily, and i can't get enoght. The beginning sounds angry, and then you get into it, and the song progresses into something sweet, and caring. At the end it turns angry again. If anyone listens to the words, it tells a great story.... touching, and real. somthing that could happen to anyone, and probably has. If i were to ever find that song, i would listen to it a billion times and count the times until I get sick of it. But i am guessing that i will never get sick of it. It is just that great!

I have heard the song many times when it played on the Pre-View of the movie (at my work). All the other colleges and I just alugh it off, and sing along, but mixed in with the movie(the grizzly man), it becomes a whole new song. it is deep, touching, and original. I loved it. I could listed to it whenever i am sad and it would tell me that there are other people out there that are in far worse shape then me. I just think that the person that wrote this song is great, and should be appreciated for this work.

Damien Rice is a artist. there is no denying that. he is a true artist in all forms of the word. He can write a song, and it touches your soul. he has a way of taking human emotions and turning them into poetry. I can go on and on about this guy, becuase he is amazing. The 1st song i listened to on the album was borow's daughter. I heard it on the movie closer, and knew it was good. but hearing it by its self, just made it better. Then cannonball. that was a great song. you can fell what he is feeling threw the music. Then I went back to volcano, then Amile. that song was just.... everything. I can't discribe it because it was so powerful and great. The whole album is great. you can listen to it all, and not have to skip a song. that is saying something. most artists can't do that, but he can. there is no way they could come out with a greatest hits album for Damien.... he is just to good. People would not want to buy a ablum with about 100 songs on it. I just hope he keeps the songs coming. i am listening.
