Christmas at My Father's and Step-Mother's
  • Fate Stay Night Series Box Set- It was so nice to hear the English Dub than watching the cheasy dialogue from Tenjho Tenge. But I'm concerned how the latter of the series will act.
  • Erhu- My dream instrument. It's difficult to play this Chinese violin with the way to change tones and move your arm like a squid.
  • Bobble Clock- This is where I may need a clock at my father's house on Saturday and Sundays. It's just some water drop- shaped clock that can talk and show the temperature.
  • Sushi Set- Chop sticks, plate and plate that make this a perfect sushi like Japanese culture.

Best and worst of 2009 Part 1

Beaten Uncharted 2 including a full review as well, so what is my Game of the Year for this year? Well youi'll just have to wait and see.

Since everyone esle is doing a blog on the Best of 2009, I thought I'd do one for myself as well.

January: The fisrt thing that made this year so S*** was the Credit Crunch just before we started 2009. I was just about to go out Job Hunting and looking for a Job, then all this came on TV and on the Newspapaers. This was all so sudden and felt like being back at Square on again.

But the best thing about January was finally playing Final Fantasy VII (PS1), beaten the game in one week it was totallyworth it. It keeped me distracted because I was taking down the wallpaper from my sister's Bedroom because she moved out to live with her boyfriend.

February: Same thing, still no job but did try and look for Voluntry work for a few places. My Sister moved back in because her boyfriend dumped her and didn't get the chance to move into my sister's bedroom because her room was bigger then mine and plus my shelfs were full of Books, DVD's and Games.

There was some snow where I lived I was out all day having fun and building large Katamari snowballs

March: I was so hyped up for Resident Evil 5 during March but it turns out to be a Disapointing game. Which had no Horror what so ever, before you got killed by random Lickers you couldn't see the Blood and Gore before "You have Died showed up" Resident Evil 2 and 4 were my favourite in the series, Resident Evil 5 was a disapointment and can't belived I waited for months for it was well.

I did this Drama course in Newcastle on the weekends which kept me busy and a friend from my College was there as well and plus made some new friends as well.

April: Did somthing to keep me busy, I did some voluntry work for Oxfam in the Finance/Data input department. Isn't much to say about April.

May: The best dam thing that happend to me this year why? one word CALIFORNIA!!!! spent 4 days in San Diago and 13 days in LA. Went to Unverisal Studios, Sony Studios, Warner Brothers Studios, Hollywood Sign, Downtown LAand HOOTERS. Shame I didn't meet any celebritys while I was there.

Ohter then that my sister managed to get tickets for America's Got Talent, Iwasn't really fussed on the program but noticed that there were alot of people dressing up really smartly because it turns out that they were wanting random people to sit in the front row of the show and be on TV behind David Hasslhoth, Peers Morgan and Sharon Ozbourne.

June: Shame I wasn't in LA longer because I would have gone to the E3 convention which was just a few blocks away from where we were staying. But did read andwatch most of the E3 on Gamepot.

My Drama performance went well based on a random story where the professor makes a Time Machine and his assistant goes back in time through History where certain evets made history such as Cavemen bulid fire, Medievil was writing messages to other people including a talking horse.

Michael Jackson 1958-2009

My next blog will be Part 2 of the Best and Worstof 2009.

Here's my Top 10 games of 2009 as well-

10: Disgaea 3 (PS3)

With the PS3 not having many RPG games except Folklore and Valkyria Chronicles. Disgaea 3 had alot of Manga/Anime random moments with the Overlords son Mao who want to become a Hero instead of being evil and try taking over the world. The gameplay was addicitve and challengeing specially the Item World where you can fight through Dungeons and level your own items and Weapons.

9: Fate/Umlimited Codes (PSP)

I know that I've have to do a review on the game, this downloadable fighting game can be fun and addictive. If you were a fan of Street Fighter 4 you'll probably enjoy Fate/Umlimited Codes if you are a fan of the Manga/Anime series.

8: Monster Hunter Freedom Unite

Same thing I still need to write a review on the game. One of Japan's biggest sellers from last year finally reaches UK/Europe and North America. If you've played the series before you would probably say that Freedom Unite (Portable 2nd G in Japan) was the best in the series. If you have friends you can team up and hunt monsters togethor or use the AdHavoc Party on the PS3 if you download it from the Playstation Network.

7: inFAMOUS

Who would thought that being Evil would be so much fun, thats what I did when I first started playing inFAMOUS when my new 80 GB PS3 arrived through my post. During the story of inFAMOUS you can choose which side you want to play or what choices you'll make, will you save the person from death or will you walk away?

6: FLOWER

Probably he best Downloadable game I've played from the Playstation Network. FLOWER is simply arelaxing game where you can just tilt the PS3 controller and let the wind blow away your problems. There isn't much to say about FLOWER it's one of those game where you can take a break from playing a game like Killzone or Final Fantasy.

Part 2 will be up on my next blog, what will be my number 1 Game of the Year 2009?

Experiencing new type of games, really enjoy them.

Those games are: Kingdom Hearts 2, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. The 3 of them looks awesome, are good, and have a really nice soundtrack, i most play Mgs2, later Kingdom Hearts 2, and Aerosmith a little multiplayer with my brother, because he is playing it a lot. Anyway my plan was buy Kingdom Hearts 1, Rock Band and Nfs Carbon, but i din´t find them in the shops i go, and i buy Kingdom Hearts 2 thinking that was the 1, but i realized that in my home so i will keep it and buy the 1 when i finish this one. I will have a wonderful time playing .

Aha! Christmas 2009!
Happy Boxing Day all! Hope you had an excellent Christmas

It was a good day! The PS3 was finally unboxed, and I picked up some cool games, DVDs, a CD, some clothes and a years supply of chocolate. I'd already knew about Little Big Planet, Uncharted 2 and MGS4, but I also got Katamari Forever, Disgaea 3, Metroid Prime Trilogy and A Boy and His Blob. All brilliant games (the 2D animation in Blob is just what I was hoping for). I also downloaded Noby Noby Boy, Flower and Flow on the PS3.

There was a little bit of a saga with the PS3, in that I didn't get to play it on Chrimbo day though After turning it on, I did a system update which took 2.5hrs, then I stuck in LBP and the updates for that took over 3hrs. I don't know the exact time it took, because I had to drive to see my family before it finished, so I left it on. No PS3 playing yesterday.

All better now though, in fact, I'm going to cut this entry short, as the games I bought just finished downloading. Gonna go and Noby Noby it up!!

Merry Christmas to all!

My RPG of the Year

Alright before we get to RPG of the Year let me do Anime Song of the year

The Nomninates are:

Closer - Naruto
Re:start - BACK-ON
Flower - BACK-ON
Sign - Naruto

And the Winner is...

Click Here! This song is just plain awesome absoluly love it.

Alright on to the real meat of this blog RPG OF THE YEAR.

Okay RPGs this year (and this gen for console RPGs) have just been failing lately. Hopefully, *prays* that Final Fantasy XIII does something to break the mold. I could care less for story. Just do something about the RPG Battle system.

Anyway, MY RPG of the Year candidates are:

Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier

Persona 4

Devil Survivor

Star Ocean: The Last Hope

Persona 3

Interesting little line up I say I've played about 20 RPGs this year and these are the only 5 that actually stand out.

...

And the winner is...

***SPOILER***

Next Blog: GAME OF THE YEAR

(Actually next blog might be a rant on the current RPG market and how much its failing. So yea)

Oh and I've recently Completed Digital Devil Saga. That's 10 of 12 done so far. Tbh, I think that's it for me on the RPG side this year. Persona 1 is much too annoying, grind heavy and just simply a pain in the ass for me to play. And P3: FES is pretty much the same...

Three years...

Hey GameSpotters.

Today would be the 9th of December, 2009. A day which has no significance in terms of publicity. And none of you will probably realise why I'm celebrating such a day with no fame. On the 9th of December, 2006, I was a mere 14 year-old boy. I had been checking GameSpot out for a while beforehand, for the sake of gaming news and such, but never made an account. I was getting into reviewing at the time, and I found that you could submit your own opinion on GameSpot. I made an account, thinking "What's the harm in doing so?". I found out that you had to be at least Level 3 in order to review games (I don't know if it's like that now). So, I played around until the third level came my way. And I suppose that's how I got into GameSpot.

Three years later, I am now 17. I have apparently matured a lot over these three years at GameSpot, and I have met some really awesome people over my time at GameSpot. I have also learnt that I am not the only mainstream RPG gamer in the world. But little did I know back when I was 14, was that I would have such a great time contributing to GameSpot. Little did I know that my reviews would evolve into big essays, which I would enjoy writing. Little did I know that I would spend over three years contributing to the site, and get to Level 35!

It's hard to believe that I joined GameSpot three years ago. I'm still here, i'm getting older, life is changing. Here's to more years to come on GameSpot! Bring on the new decade!

4 Games away from the BIG 200!

Wow its hard to believe I am only coming on 200 games in my collection. Gaming sure is an expensive hobby compaired to a dvd collector. Kinda wish I had 1000, but 200 still looks impessive. My stand is running out of room lol. Not much going on gaming wise, got Assassins Creed 2 which was majorly improved over the first one, but I missed the outfit from the first game, but at least this time we have a face unlike the first one. Anyone else think the graphics for the faces manly Desmond looked worse then they did in the first game? Like in this game certain area's you could just tell they put alot less effort into.... such as grass lol. I don't know I found the areas outside the city looked kinda bland and graphically weak. Also got New Super Mario Bros Wii which is great! 2D Mario will ALWAYS beat 3D mario to me. I think its the only game without a true storyline that I would play. I guess its just because I grew up on mario is why I love 2D mario so much. Thats about it game wise, lost my old phone sucks so I had to go out and buy a new one and it does like EVERYTHING! Sadly its costing me an arm and leg... curse of the cell phone bill I tell you lol and I still havn't even starting my christmas shopping.... and yet I work in a mall 0_0 lol

Time to get Drunk!

But not really. It's my 21st birthday today, so yay? I just don't get as excited over my birthday as I used to. It just seems like any other day (I think I said the same thing last year too. ). Besides going to get my driver's license renewed at some point, I plan on doing nothing but gaming today. Also having Donatos Pizza for dinner (best pizza in the world!) and Pumpkin Pie (best pie in the world!).

Don't really think I'll be getting too much for my birthday as far as presents go. My car needed a new muffler a few weeks ago and new tires, so that was my birthday/Christmas from my parents. I'll probably get something from my grandparents, but not too much. I don't really care that much though. I realize money is tight right now the way things are with the economy and I'm not too materialistic anyway.

Till my next blog...which I guess will actually be around Christmas. I won't do another 7 month blog hiatus I guess.

Unfortunate Events for some. i loled

Well there is a guy named Sledge70 http://www.gamespot.com/users/Sledge70/ i just found his account a few days ago and its all like yes i work at pandemic studios. then 2 days later news comes around Pandemic has been closed and some of the people have been folded into a new studio or something. the thing is it seems that the developers who actually know how to make games have been folded into a new studio. so i posted on his account.

"Wow Pandemic just got shut down aparently. did you get fired?" Im betting he did. i loled hard.

its a thing like Well it sucks to be you. and i should have seen that coming with the economy the way it is. every day i read blogs and posts about people getting laid off. Shoot. (wanted to say something against the rules here) they keep on saying the economy is getting better. but every day more and more people get laid off anywhere from 5000 to 10000 people are getting laid off in a week. to anyone who has a job now! Invest in gold and get guns. because if the economy tottally fails paper money isnt gonna be worth squat and gold will.

Games I bought This Month. Oct. 09///Gaming Updates Vol. 10

1. Skate (X360)- 7.5 (The first time I played this I had borrowed it from my Brother, and loved it, so I bought a copy for myself)

2. Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 (X360) - 7.0

3. Viewtiful Joe: Red Hot Rumble (GC) - 6.9 (I re-bought this after my incident with those idiots at GameStop)

4. Viva Pinata (X360) - 8.3

5. Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars (X360)- 8.7

Good News: I saved $7.70 on these games with my Edge card. Bad News: I haven't started any of them.

I've started a couple new games this month: Shenmue 2 and Syberia, both great games, but the former is better to me. I beat The Bard's Tale, which was a pretty good game, definitely clever, the whole game had a sarcasm about it for almost the entire time, and I loved that, the story was quite cliche, but the game actually embraced it (in a humorous manner of course). The snarky or nice comment thing that you could use was ok, but it could have been used a bit more often, and also could have beenbroadened out to have more of an effect on the game as a whole. Also I played Civilization 3 and loved it, I actually thought it was hard to win (probably on account of me playing through 5 different campaigns and always retiring), none-the-less it is an amazing strategy game, definitely a classic. So you guys can be expecting a review for The Bard's Tale, I haven't written one in a while because it takes me quite a while to write them, because I want it to be good, as for Civ. 3 I'll probably just rate it.

Also, I'd like to tell you guys that after this blog I will be making some changes to my blogging, but only to my Gaming Updates blogs, which will now have more zing and pep (one way will be by changing the traditional styled title and taking a more modern, hip, and cool approach ), and will cover more subjects than just games. So everyone, that is it, and......hm, I should think of a really cool phrase to end with.....how about: Over and Out? Tat Ta? Blog Ya' Later? Suggestions? No,I'm serious, suggestions.

Review Blog--A One-of-a-Kind Roleplaying Experience

Role-playing owes it's origins to the classic board game "Dungeons & Dragons" in more than one way. The genre as we know today, has not only inherited many of it's finer tactical and strategic elements from the board game, but also the core element of adventuring, party-mechanics and decision-making from it.
Baldur's Gate wasn't the first attempt at making a D&D based game. However, it was the first attempt in making a real-time D&D game. Back then, the announcement of such a feature was met with ridicule. The fact that it was being developed by a then-little known developer, BioWare further fueled such thoughts. A board-game as a real-time action-RPG would surely end up as a horror show, most of the people thought.
Turns out BioWare had couple of cards up their sleeves. All aces.

Baldur's Gate isn't only a tremendously brave and fantastic re-imagining of the cla$$ic board game, but it puts nearly every role-playing game that has come out before it to utter shame
. It seamlessly combines multiple genres like turn-based combat, RTS-like party management and real-time action into a seamless game that doesn't falter even once in it's 30-40 odd hours length.

Baldur's Gate starts like almost any other RPG of it's time albeit with a minor difference. You get to create your character, choose his/her race (which will have implications in the game) and even a unique sound set for them. The difference is it utilizes the attributes used in D&D for your character. So, like you have a fixed number of throws to decide what will be the value of say, your character's strength, in the board game, the same idea is carried forth here.

Relatively newcomers back then, BioWare realized the single largest obstacle that stood between a successful transition of D&D into real-time was the fact that D&D being a board games utilized dice, saving throws and cards to play whereas one couldn't utilize them in real-time. Here, they came forward with an ingenious idea that is the very foundation of what Baldur's Gate is. They relate your actions in real-time game as a trigger to the actions you would perform while playing the board game.

For instance, attacking an enemy would be equivalent to you and your enemy throwing the respective dies and then depending upon who gets the bigger number, appropriate damage (or no damage) is taken up.
However all of this takes place, without you even knowing it is taking place. If you just keep your eyes transfixed on the action happening on the screen, you may never realize all this is taking place "behind the screen". BioWare adds spice to this and displays a small window at the bottom showing what's going on. This will certainly please the hardcore D&D fans who love this particular element of the game.

Moreover, on hitting the space bar, the game pauses and you're free to look around the screen and issue commands to your party members. Upon hitting the space bar again, the game returns to the real-time and your party carries out your orders virtually making this particular element of gameplay seem like a turn-based RPG.

If you haven't realized it by now, then any knowledge about Advanced D&D and it's rules is absolutely NOT necessary to play and enjoy Baldur's Gate
. However, a mere knowledge of what's what goes a long way in making the role-playing experience even deeper for you. I had no previous experience with anything to do with D&D but by the time I was done with Baldur's Gate, I was well-acquainted with all it's nuances.

If at this point, some of you might be wondering if this is all there is special about Baldur's Gate, then one is doing a great deal of injustice to this stellar RPG. Aside from all those innovations in gameplay, Baldur's Gate has got a superbly narrated plot rich in political skullduggery, intrigue and mystery. Your character has grown up within the walls of the fortress of Candlekeep, a place where all the books containing knowledge about Sword Coast and the far-reaching lands can be found. Raised by your foster-father, Gorion, you know little of your past, until suddenly Gorion asks you to leave on a long journey along with him. Gorion gets murdered by a mysterious figure, early on, and what starts as a mystery of who murdered your foster-father turns out into a tale of political backstabbing, involving rebellion guilds. A twist midway also turns the story on it's head which speeds up the and eventually culminates in a thrilling finale.

Baldur's Gate is set in Forgotten Realms, a hugely popular D&D setting containing most of it's basic elements as well as adding a few of it's own. This particular game focuses only on a particular part of Forgotten Realms, namely Sword Coast. The world is vastly detailed when it comes to history of it's races, their relations with others, as well as depicting the increasing tensions and rising suspicions between two neighboring states.
Needless to say, anybody will find the Sword Coast tremendously immersive and likeable as a setting.

You will meet a variety of heroes and villains on your journey, some of which will join you, the others meet their end with your blade. The characters that accompany you in during the course of the game are nothing short of amazing. They provide a tremendous sense of companionship and camaraderie as you journey across Sword Coast. You are allowed to have six members including yourself in the party. You'll meet various NPCs on your journey, some of whom you can recruit. Each of these playable NPC is tremendously well-written and come with a unique personality of their own which make them instantly memorable. Few of them strike particularly as being instant favorites when it comes to popular opinion. The likes of Minsc, the amnesiac,hot-headed warrior who carries a "space hamster" Boo on his shoulders and has got some golden-humorous lines in combat like, "Go for his eyes Boo!!" or "I need healing immediately lest Boo becomes an orphan". Such lines are refreshing in a day and age when dialogues in games are becoming very predictable and clichéd.

There is also an element of morality and decision-making influenced from earlier games like Ultima. When you create your character, you choose a particular alignment for your character based upon the D&D default alignments. There's the basic Good, Neutral and Evil with Lawful, True and Chaotic being the subsets of them. However, this idea which developed a lot in BioWare's later games isn't fully realized here. No matter how much contradictory decisions you make to your alignment, they seem to have little effect on your set alignment. You might be a "Good Lawful" character, but can commit evil acts without your character's conscience hurting.

The only impact the alignment makes is the way some characters might react towards you. The kind of decisions and actions you take have an indirect or direct implication in the world you live. Often a decision you make might either end a small sub-quest or might instead trigger a major side-quest.
Decisions like these often tend to put players into dilemma since there isn't a clarity whether being good will lead to good consequences or vice-versa. In short, there are shades of grey when it comes to morality.
Your reputation is numbered in points which depends upon the kind of decisions (or more specifically the kind of outcomes your decisions lead to). A higher reputation has it's benefits with minor discounts at shops and temples. A low reputation might lead to hostile civilians and guards which isn't so good.

The playable NPCs which are tremendously well-written also are indirectly affected by the decisions you make. They're too have their own moral alignment and agenda. So if you start making "evil decisions", which some of your party members may not agree with, they might start complaining more, sometimes even leaving your party in the midst of the combat. Such a kind of action really helps you realize that you're traveling in a party of sensible characters with their own minds and not some mindless AI controlled puppets.

The party mechanics are further deepened when you delve into scripting. Scripting refers to setting basic stance to your characters. If you set one of your character's stance as "Cleric Defensive", then the character will cast defensive spells at the sight of an enemy. Similarly for a "Fighter Ranged", a character uses ranged weapons only and maintains a distance even when an enemy is chasing him around. Such minor AI variable help make Baldur's Gate a truly one-of-a kind gaming experience back then, and it mostly remains unique even until this day.
The downside of such scripts is that they're limited and they can be mis-assigned. For example, if you assign "Cleric Defensive" to a non-cleric, then they will often not do anything at all.
You do have the option to create your own scripts and while it is fun, it is something that can't be recommended to all, as it tends to be a bit time-consuming. There is also a journal system to keep track of all the quests, side-quests or mere observations you notice during your travels.

The graphics weren't too advanced for it's time, and they haven't aged too well, but it's top-down perspective does a good job in showing both the immersiveness of the world as well as serving as a good vantage point to carry out all the tactical, strategical and turn-based actions that the game has to offer. There are minor clips of cutscenes at various points of the game as well.
The sounds of Baldur's Gate plays a key-role in contributing to the immersiveness of the world you play in. In a town, you often hear the sounds of spouses quarreling with each other, or tavern drunkards roaming around the streets, or dogs barking, guards going about their usual patrol duty. It all makes the world feel like a beating, breathing place.
There are bits of voice acting for each of the characters that appear in the game, all of them being well-done.

The BioWare back then, much like today excels when it comes to writing. Their quick and tightly narrated plot with richly-written dialogues peppered with fiery interjections, interesting banters and often humorous punch-lines makes it an adventure you just won't want to get off until it's over.

There are hardly any flaws in the near-perfect game, and if there are any they have been mostly brought out by time and the sheer superiority of it's sequel. One can point out that some of it's ideas could have been better implemented, or there was an apparent lack of party interaction (especially when compared with it's majestic sequel), but those come out as half-baked excuses to point out flaws at this superlative role-playing experience.

Whether or not you've had any acquaintance with D&D in past shouldn't stop you from trying out this wonderful example of clever implementation of tons of innovative ideas. A tremendous fulfillment of a vision to reimagine the ****c board game into a real-time RPG seamlessly combining multiple genres like turn-based combat elements, RTS-like party mechanics, and real-time combat. Baldur's Gate is a one of a kind role-playing experience and truly there is nothing quite like it.

If you liked the review, then please do recommend it. I had to do a lot of convincing to myself to write this review before I wrote the review of it's stellar sequel (the best game ever.Period. ). The latter's review is coming up next.

How is everyone faring? Hopefully, everyone out there is doing well (in whatever they're doing )

Take care now guys and gals.

Top 10 Underrated Bands #8

Steely Dan

http://www.steelydangallary.se/paintings/indexfolder/walt_don.jpg

Members: (X = deceased)

Donald Fagen (above right)
Walter Becker (above left)

Notable Songs:

"Do It Again"
"Reelin' In The Years"
"Peg"
"Rikki Don't Lose That Number"

Steely Dan was a rock duo formed in the early 1970's, and by the end of the decade they had reached critical, albeit underappreciated, success. They're generally considered a "soft rock" or "pop rock" band, using more piano and soft drumming than hard, driving guitar and drumming (a notable exception being Reelin' In the Years, my personal favorite). With Donald Fagen's piano and singing accompanied by Walter Becker's instrumental virtuosity, they made many incredible albums and songs, and continued to perform and work together into the early 1980's. It was then that they took a much needed break to sober up and "find themselves". In the early 1990's they came back in full swing, and to this day they still play some of their hits at live shows.

One thing about the band was their incredible obsession with details and perfection. They would spend up to a year's worth of time perfecting everything they could, from the lyrics to the music to the overall production (in one instance they even used over 40 session musicians for one album). It may be because of this that the band is well respected among the musical community, particularly among rock and roll critics.

So yea if you for some reason still don't know about my new account, here it is : -Skatman-

Feel free to track me once more!!! I won't be using the finalfan789 account, i just like to look at my old blogs.

So how have you all been? (to those who havent tracked Skatman yet )

For those of you that don't know I have a Wii now, I play Brawl online everyday, i don't play DS games anymore and no longer have a PSP. I also play Counter Strike Source and Team Fortress 2 on PC during the weekends. I have played and beaten SMG, SSBB, RE4, NMH, Wii Sports, Lost Winds, Megaman9, LoZOoT, SMB3 and Okami on the Wii. I recently replayed the MGS series (i have the essentials collection), and the GoW series on PS2. I also recently bought and am playing MLB09 The Show on PS2, Twin Snakes on GC, and will start playing Eternal Darkness soon. I just got a job, I start on friday, and am going to be buying Super Paper Mario and MarioKart Wii upon recieving my first check. I will also be saving up for a PS3 this summer.

#1. Chrono Cross - Scars of Time

If you haven't played it, know that the game is huge, featuring 40 playable characters, parallel universes, etc. The soundtrack is also huge in size, spanning 3 CDs with 68 different songs. The flavor of the music is decidedly old-world, with Mediterranean, Celtic and African influences. Check out this video of the game's opening that captures both the beauty of the musical score and the scope of the game:

finally got SO4 & a bit about my japanese study

yes i finally got star ocean 4, i've been waiting about 3 months now since the supposed "world wide release" of march, but i have it now and i can put that behind me ... unfortunately it'll have to wait because i'm playing FFX at the moment .

in other news, my japanese study at uni is going really well. so far i've got53% out of a possible 62%, so i've already passed. theres one more exam on the 25th thats worth 38% and if i do really well on that (32% or higher) i'll get a 7 (85% or higher)for the subject, which is the best score you can get .

also, at the end of the year the university is doing a study trip to japan and theres a very high possibility that i'll be going . it goes for a month and you get 2 credit points for doing it (the japanese subject i'm doing right now is worth 4 credit points, but most other normalsubjects are worth 2). it'll cost around $3500 but thats not really a huge problem for me.

well, thats it for now... i might do another anime top 10 list some time, but until then i'll see you in the unions... or in your blogs... if i actually remember to check them out (i'm lazy when it comes to that )
