Console wars...
Do you think we are giving the Wii a break for not having online play? Online play is an immense factor in the next generation console wars. Most people were giving a hard time to Sony due to the lack of online play until Resistance came out. It seems like we are essentially giving Nintendo a free pass in winning the next gen. console wars. Microsoft is genius in the aspect of achievement points, for example i have seen teens and adults alike purchasing games like Open Season to help their gamer score, brilliant marketing on Microsofts part.
It's also as if Nintendo isn't even busting their butts to get online play although Pokemon Battle Revolution is supposed to have online support although they haven't officially announced that yet. Believe me i'm not biased at all owning all of the next gen. systems at one point time. My arguing statement is that are we giving Nintendo a free ticket when online play is such an enormous factor and is very popular among gamers.
