When I put in the CD and the first song, 'Colossal', started playing I was amazed. But my enthalled self couldn't help but dread the next song. It couldn't possibly get better!
I was dead wrong.
The second song, 'Woman', will blow your socks off. The CD keeps up a relentless, never ending stream of pure rock nirvana that makes you want to jump up and yell along to the lyrics...
In fact I did just that.
The best Rock CD I have ever heard. Go buy it, crank your stereo to full blast, pop it in and prepare to be blown away.

This band was recommended to me by a friend. I asked him what they were like and he just said "Just Listen." When I popped the CD in after the first 8 seconds of pure synth I was tempted to pop it back out and smash it. I decided to stick with it and see if it got better. By the 8th song I was pretty tired of The Network, New Wave rebirth it may be but I was tired of it. Then I hit "Right Hand-O-Rama." Now read over that title again, It is EXACTLY what it emplies, a song about masterbation. I have to say just to hear this song is reason enough to buy this bargin bin CD,
I'm gonna spend all the money she had
On a nude girl in a dirty old mag
50 cents cheaper than the real thing
Even though it may be a little bit disgusting
Can't call a bitch and it ain't got no drama
It's called a new sensation called the right hand-a-rama
I don't know why
I don't know why
It sure feels good
Most every time
WOOO!
The rest of of the CD makes up for the poor first half. Songs such as "Teenagers from Mars", "Roshambo", and "Hungry Hungry Models" are wonderfully addictive. So I guess I recomment them, just make sure to skip teh first seven songs.

Rooney seems all at once the beatles and the beach boys but at same time with a style all their own. Every song of their debute album is listening pleasure, the type of music you can listen too while doing your homework. No song stands out, they get off two a good start and keep it threw to the very end. Highly recommended.
