NJ/NY vs. Florida
no this has nothing to do with sports or anything, but I just wanted to talk about my experiences with people in NJ/NY and Florida.
Ok, as you may know, i've been living in the fast-lane community all my life. I was born and lived for a while in Chicago, then moved to a commuter town, Secaucus, NJ. After that, i moved to another commuter town, Montclair, also in NJ. Right now I'm in Florida for Easter and i've now notcied a major difference between people from New Jersey and Florida.
Florida's people are so much nicer! Let's say I'm walking home from school right, and I walk right next to somebody on the sidewalk; they won't even make eye contact. They are fully aware of my presence but refuse to show it. Yesterday i was riding my bike with my dad down this road (with 12,000,000 dollar houses all the way through i may add) and we see a woman with her iPod jogging towards us. From the other side of the road she waves and says "Hi there!" I was totally taken aback and my dad and I waved back. On the way back, we meet a guy walking his dog. He also waves to us and says "Beuatiful weather, ain't it?" My dad replies and we bike on. After our biking, we go to the grocery store. My dad has his right hand full of groceries and a cashier walks out from behind the counter and says, "I'll put that behind the counter for you." Now this was to much for me. In a typical NJ grocery store, you are lucky if you make eye contact with the cashier and say anything besides something over the price of the goods.
My dad says that peopel here are nicer because of the slow life style and the relaxed mood everyone gives off because of that. I find it odd that a person's work and busy life style can make them so silent and anti-social.
My flight back to NJ is on Tuesday and my computer there can't post on GS so it may be awhile before i blog again.
Back on Crack
PSYCE(spelling?)
Anyway, i'm back on World of Warcraft. After my one month of XBox Live expired, i decided to play a little WoW for good time's sake. Turns out I'm hooked again ![]()
That's it for gaming for me. I haven't been able to keep posting cause my browser keeps quiting on the page where i type my blog. But right now I'm in florida on my grandparents' laptop. So about a week or two ago my class and the seventh graders were going to NYC to go to the Museum of Modern Art. Well if you aren't familiar with the NJ/NY area, you usually go through the Lincoln Tunnel to get to Manhattan. So I'm sitting next to this girl, Sierra, in the way way back of the bus and the bus goes through the Lincoln tunnel and me and Sierra start making out right there. The teachers wulda killed us but they didn't see anything
So now me and Sierra are going out now and it's all good in ma hood. Actually I live in the suburbs, but you know what I mean. I may post again later next week if I get the chance. Peace
Yet another 3 day weekend
Nothing really special going on in my life right now so I'll just give an update on what I'm playing:
Gears of War- Going for my 4th time beating it, this time on insane so i can get all non-Live achievements.
Call of Duty 3- Just got this game a few days ago. Already beat it but it was pretty fun. Best part is throwing a grenade right back at the enemy
Well that's it for now. Oh I just noticed I got lvl 17- Minus World. Ok now that's it lol. I hope to post again soon. Peace
Out of one trap and into another....
Well, enough of that. Time to play GoW
Getting over an addiction....
Now that the expansion came out I was so pumped up for it and thought more hours of my life wasted, but oh well. Turns out I finished the first area of the Outlands, and suddenly, I got bored. I couldn't bring myself to finish the quests, or try to lvl up again. My personal friends who played with me on WoW had stopped playing, Wu-Tang-Clan 93 being one of them.
Getting over something that you put so much time on is certainly tough for me, but it's aonly a matter of time before i freeze me account, permanently.
Has any else have had to go through something like this? If so, please share.
