GameSpot Blog
This is a GameSpot Blog. I don't want it to appear on my mp3.com page or my tv.com page but it seems like any blog posted on any cnet site is repeated on all cnet sites. So whatever.
Actually I won't be making anymore GameSpot blogs because I have no more games. My TV broke so I found someone on Craigs List who would trade a working TV for my Game Boy Advand all the games I had for it. I do not regret having done that. I don't want to be visiting GameSpot and bringing on regret. I wasn't exactly overusing the GBA but - well maybe I was. Well, OK, every few years I have to sell or unload the GB and all the games and take a break. At least until I become obsessed with thatever new handheld appears and at the same time have money to spend on it.
So goodbye for now GameSpot...
For anyone reading this I will continue to visit and occationally post on tv.com. mp3.com - less likely. I hate that the blogs aren't separated. But like I said, whatever.

Where's Rock Star?
(oooh, lookit all this new "functionality" since I last visited!)
I haven't been able to find the entry for the new "Rock Star: Supernova" Season. Am I missing it? or is it just not here.
The new Rockstar season marks the one year anniversary or there abouts of the TV.com takeover of TVtome. And the one year anniversary of my meeting many of yous. I'm still watching lots of TV but I'm more active on Myspace now. But not there so much either. I've been busy and stressed in RL and lack time and energy to blog or blop much.
The Rockstar boards were so fun last year. I hope tv.com gets the guide and related pages together soon.

What tha?
I don't think it's that long since I visited here. A few days maybe. Is it my imagination or does it look all different now? Ooh, and I got some more icon thingies. That's nice I don't have to have 50% of something to get an icon for it. I do wish they had an "eclectic" icon. "User has no more than 25% of shows in any one genre" or something. Well this look will take some getting used to. My banner is gone, but it sucked anyway. Nice to have links right here to my other Cnet profiles. I hope they've integrated them better so I don't have to log into the other profiles when I go to them from here. Don't have time to check on that now though.
Hope everyone is well.
Hope everyone is well.
Hidilly-ho! Shelbing's back.
I'm back, my computer's back. Everything is working so much better now. All those problems I was having with loading pages here and at Zap2it are fixed. On the downside my harddrive was fried and I lost everything that was on it. I'd backed up a lot of stuff but hadn't gotten around to backing up the photos. I'm an awful clutterer and the harddrive was stuffed and full of bugs. Everything's running much smoother - especially internet - since it was it was cleared out. So its a mixed blessing. I've spend the last several days reloading stuff and putting things in order. I should be back to blogging and blopping and maybe even submitting now.
One of the things I lost was the code for making links here. I kept them on a stickie on my desktop. Also the code for making the boxie which I don't usually use but I might want to sometime. If anyone's reading this has those codes and would be willing to share them here or on a PM, I'd appreciate it.

Computer is still on vacation
Sorry I haven't been around much lately. I went on vacation, with my computer and while I was on vacation my computer decided to stay on vacation, so while it did come back with me physically it is not with me spiritually right now. Not that it liked Minnesota that much, I don't think, but it did see some of it's friends and had so much fun that it's still hungover I guess. I won't be able to take it in for a couple weeks yet due to lack of funds (due to the vacation).
So while I can surf the internet from another computer in the house, I can not at this time surf and watch TV at the same time. Last night as I was watching "The Closer" (sorry, too lazy to do links on this computer). It was a repeat which I had seen before. When it was first on I always watched it at the midnight showing, and while surfing the internet. This time I watched it at 10pm and with no internet. So while I had seen it before I hadn't really seen it at all. So watching reruns with out internet distraction is just as good as seeing shows for the first time!
But I do miss internet. Now I have to find something else to watch during the commercials. And, of course, I miss my internet friends.
I'll be around as I am able.

I saw her on Austin City Limits a few weeks ago. She was captivating. Sade, meets Nora Jones, meets Ricki Lee Jones. Why isn't she everywhere?
